Buying my V85TT was a pleasant experience. Salesman Mark was efficient and easy to work with, and…read moreowner Mark worked out a fair price with accessories for me. I'm not as happy with the service department. My first few services were uneventful, but the last one was disappointing. I spent almost $1,000 for the 12k service, rear brake pads, state inspection, and mounting of two tires that I brought in with me. 34 miles into my first ride after service I saw a pool of oil on the asphalt when I stopped, and oil splattered all over the right side of the bike and my right pants leg and boot. Brought it back (1.5 hours each way and $50 gas and tolls round trip). Service manager tried to get me to believe that they were suddenly having an issue with *faulty* head gaskets. I knew he was trying to keep the heat off his shop, so I then spoke directly with the mechanic who worked on my bike and he acknowledged that the real problem was improper installation of two o-rings, which is where all the oil leaked from. I understand that any one of us can make a mistake, but I was disappointed that the service manager did not offer some remuneration of the nearly $1,000 that I paid, especially since I had to make an extra (expensive) trip to have them fix their own error. Heck, I didn't even get an apology or an offer of a free oil change. Fortunately for me, a dealer much closer to me has started selling Piaggio products, so I no longer have to make the long drive to this dealership who cannot be counted on.

Mark lead me on a great local ride with lots of nice scenery and curves. The negotiations and pricing was easy and fair. I walked in ready to pay cash, but the offer of 0% financing was too good to pass up. I made arrangements to pick up the bike later in the month so they could install some accessories that I wanted. Every person who I dealt with (Mark, other Mark, Jeremy, Cyndi, and Tracy) were genuinely friendly and helpful. My bike was ready when I took delivery, and I was walked through all of the functions of my new bike. If you're in the market for a Guzzi, Aprilia, or Vespa, it's worth the easy drive to check out Motoplex.

I found one of Cycle Max's new bikes listed on cycletrader.com and submitted an inquiry through…read moretheir online contact form. I heard back from Rand just a few hours later and he took the time to explain all of the discounts along with the fees, and also answered questions about some modifications I wanted to do to the bike that he said they'd be happy to perform before we'd take delivery of the bike. I then emailed him after our call with another question and to remind me what the OTD price was. He answered the question immediately and sent me a full breakdown of all discounts and fees. Ultimately my girlfriend and I decided to buy a used bike from a private seller for a price we couldn't pass up, so unfortunately we didn't have the chance to buy from Cycle Max. I wrote to Rand to let him know about the change of plans and when he replied he was very gracious and even congratulated my girlfriend for passing her MSF licensing class. I've gone through scenarios like this in the past and very often I won't even receive a reply back because the business representative perceives having no further use for corresponding. I should note that I live in NJ and was willing to drive the 2.5 hours to PA to buy from Cycle Max because not only were their prices better than all of the dealers I contacted in NJ, but because Rand was such a patient and sincere salesman. It's pretty rare these days, unfortunately, so I hope to do business with Cycle Max one day soon. Thank you for being a good guy, Rand.

They heavily upcharge all their products. Ill never go back. i was trying to buy a new bike but the way they spoke to me wasnt very kind and i kept trying to ask for help but they seemed frustrated by it. i recommend avoiding this place if you want to pay fair prices on ANYTHING. even a service check is $110 immediately. crazy.

J PHILLIPS IS HANDS DOWN THE LAZIEST, WORST TECHNICIAN ALIVE. whoever runs service is a scam artist. whole company is terrible. my dad bought about 8 dirtbikes off the showroom floor when we raced growing up . never had a bad experience until about 2019. everything is about how much they can get out of you with the least service possible
