Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. They are crooks that will try their hardest to take as much as they can from you. Absolutely horrible, do not use unless you are fine wasting your money.

To my relief they found the panels around the drain to be dry and clear of mold, but just to be safe they sprayed a microbial agent on the walls to prevent any future mold. Jesse and Chase refused to accept any payment for this inspection, although they saved me a huge headache of having to tear up the bathroom as suggested by the other company.
