A long awaited review....we had to sell our condo and move very quickly last summer. Let me tell you what occurred during our home inspection. MoorCo Services, Inc. put our AC in 12 years ago and left old duct work wrapped in asbestos in the attic we didn't even know about. Just found it during a home inspection for our new buyer. Tried to have Moorco handle it now, and MoorCo"s newer owner (previous owner's son, Dan) acted like a real bully. He hung up on me within minutes, raising his voice in the first sentence. I didn't raise mine and kept my cool. Dan actually denied ever being on our property during installation. Well, Dan and I had a few long conversations during the installation of our new A/C unit, in fact. He was here all right; he went in/out of our attic and was working on this job/install. Unreal attitude and lied without even wanting to hear me out. It wouldn't have taken much to make amends, but he didn't once consider helping us with an issue his company created. We had to drop it and deal with the removal of asbestos and duct work in the attic that MoorCo Services left there knowingly. I suggest you find another company other than this one that doesn't stand behind their work. They wouldn't have needed to stand behind it, had they done what was proper to begin with. I contacted several other local companies at the time, and they all said that they would have removed the duct work and asbestos up there, as they put in the new system. Much less, let us as owners know what is up there and going on at all times. We are elderly and not able to go up the ladder into the attic. read more

Four years ago I left Moorco a five star review. We have used Moorco for 23 years. The previous owner also used them so together 30years or so. We had new Air Conditioning units put in in 2014. Our last units lasted 15 years with yearly maintenance by Moorco. Unfortunately one unit broke in unde four years. It cost $845.00 to replace the motor. I asked if they would give us a discount even $84.00 and they refused. Now that amount is not going to break anyone it was just the principle..so for $84.00 you lost a loyal customer who has referred Mandy people! Hope it was worth it. read more

Their attention to detail, thorough communication, and dedication to doing excellent work were all phenomenal. They are friendly and a joy to have in our home. My main A/C just went out during our current heat wave. I had Moor send a service tech out to my house. He declared the old unit dead and charged me $125.00 for the call. I asked him for a bid to replace the unit. He assured me that someone would get back to me in a day. One week went by. No word. I called again. We were dying in the heat wave. "Someone will give you the bid in a couple of days." Another week went by. No word... no contact at all. No phone call explaining why. We called Sears. We received a bid on a 5 ton unit and installation with in a week. Now- that is service! read more

I would give negative review but one star was the lowest I could go. Do not use this company. They installed 2 mini split systems on my house and when the units starting acting up they were no where to be found. I called and called guess what too busy to help. I called another company and had them come out to fix the problem. They said the unit was installed wrong and that is why it broke. I contacted Moorco to tell them. All they did was we could come fix it but we would be charged a service call and labor to fix what was wrong with the unit. I asked if I could return the unit of get another one and they said the unit that used doesn't have a good warranty so they won't replace it. I couldn't believe they would install a unit in correctly and then when it broke tell me they use crappy units that won't replace them if they break but will be happy to charge me to fix them. No wonder they are still in business the install sub par units ignore you until they break and than try to charge you fix them. DO NOT USE THIS CORRUPT COMPANY!!!!! read more

We have an air conditioner that hadn't been operational in years. Dan came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and clearly explained our options. Just charged me for the service call which was the same as quoted over the phone. Felt like I was dealt with very honestly, from the initial phone call to the service visit. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs. In the midst of the heat wave my ac capacitor went out. They expedited the replacement when they found out I had heat induced asthma. Instead of a wait of a week they showed up in two days. They installed my heat and air 15 years ago and they have always shown excellent service and good prices. I recommend them to everyone I know and they all agree MoorCo is tops. read more

Very unprofessional company. Sales rep shows up 15 minutes late with the excuse that he got lost and doesn't use GPS. Secondly, the sales rep didn't come prepared with brochures, or literature. Took a few notes and said he would have to have an electrician come out to look at the space then he could work on a quote. 3 days later the sales rep called me to let me know he gave my number to their in house electrician. 5 days goes by before I get a call from the electrician. In the mean time I had already gotten two other quotes and had a 10k system installed. Boy did Moorco loose out. I would STAY AWAY from Moorco! read more

Called the company to have a couple of heaters looked at. The tech came out evaluated the problems and gave some quotes/options. Called the office back (the quote was reasonable) and the technician came out with the required parts. After a couple of hours he had both heaters upgraded and working great. Excellent work, professional and polite. We'll be using them again for the a/c servicing. read more

I used Moorco for both my home and business, totaling 3 units. At first the units appeared to cool the space, but within five years, they are not doing an adequate job. I have them serviced regularly, even switched companies to service and they say that the units are working fine. They don't cool my business at all- and my home a/c chugs along all day for inadequate cooling as well. When I replace my units, I would definitely find another company. Not happy at all. read more

The work done by Moorco has a one year warrantee. Before the year was up, I had trouble with the unit. They diligently worked on the unit and repaired at no cost to me. It is still working beautifully. read more

Very disappointed in their customer service and their poor responsiveness to our needs. We've been waiting two weeks for a repairman to come out and it will be 3 weeks before one will come. Patients have had to be rescheduled because it was over 90 degrees in the office, because water accumulation in the unit had shut it down. They are unable to come out when the office is closed on Fridays, which means more lost revenue and inconvenience to patients for rescheduling while they do the work during office hours. read more
