Yum! Enjoyed Moontime a few times. They always seem to convince me that I should eat crepes more often. The balsamic w/ spinach, chicken and other goodies really hit the spot after an I70 marathon drive. My wife and I had a date night at Edgewater Public Marketplace. Moontime Crepes was my first stop after seeing a TikTok review. The food and service were simply incredible, and we left happy. Unfortunately, we went back a few days later with our adult kids and the food was not as good as our first visit. Moontime Crepes was parked across the street from Finn's Manor recently and I was delighted to see it there because 1) I was hungry and 2) I really, really like crepes. The menu is crazy big for a food truck, comprised of probably a dozen or so sweet options and another dozen savory. I went with a savory option that had bacon, spinach, tomato, garlic, and cilantro avocado sauce and when the guy taking my order asked if I wanted to add goat chess I said absolutely because 1) I'm a fan of goat cheese and 2) he wouldn't offer it as an addition if it wasn't good, right? The answer is right because this was a dang delicious crepe. Because it's a crepe it's cooked quickly and comes out piping hot. I have a feeling when colder weather rolls into Denver this is one truck that will still have a booming business because there's nothing quite like a warm crepe in your hands when you're tipsy, hungry, and cold. A royal beating trying to find these freaks, but don't wuss out...keep looking. Had to circle the block twice. They are in a parking lot, in a trailer, next to an apple booze joint...like a microbrewery but they work a lot with like apples or pears or whatever. Who cares? We were here for the crepes and these guys can really bring the heat! Awesome crepes for not a lot of dough. It is a food truck or trailer and these maniacs were listening to old Peter Gabriel and Santana tunes and work that Grateful Dead angle real hard and all but what they really Excel at is CREPES. Had the brie/ham/hollandaise crepe and REALLY enjoyed it. The creamy brie mixed in with the runny hollandaise sauce filled the crepe with a savory, deliciousness. I have had Moontime Crepes bookmarked for months now, but hadn't committed to tracking down their pop-up stand (shame on me, I know). I was swinging by Stem Ciders with friends one evening, and the stars decided to align and grace me with none other than a Moontime Crepes pop-up right outside. If that isn't fate, I don't know what it. I spent a solid 4 minutes looking over their sugary marvels - how could I choose? After expressing my dilemma with the gentleman working, he helped me combine two options to create my dream crepe. It blew my expectations out of the water, and was so enormous that I shared it with the two guys I was with. If you don't have quite the sweet tooth that I do - have no fear - they have savory crepes as well and they all look outstanding! A+ to this group! The raspberry preserves send this thing to a whole other level." Daughter: "this is, hands down, the most amazing thing I have ever eaten!" Oh dear sweet Lord in heaven, this place is PHENOMENAL! Disclaimer: I've only had their sweet crepes so far, so idk what their savories are like. But damn - their crepes are ENORMOUS and DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the one with strawberries and cream, I was covered in powdered sugar by the time I finished it and it. Felt. So. Right. Other cool thing - last time I paid the gentleman running the cash box, I handed him a $20 and he thought I handed him a $10, so the change I got back was wrong. Once I told him, he gave me the right change, even though he had no idea if I was lying to him and he could have made a huge issue of it. I appreciated that they thought that my business was worth a possible $10 mistake.
