I already put this on Google Reviews, but this place is so good that it deserves at least a second…read morereview. Michelle, the woman running the massage place, is very personable and friendly. There is a very good reason why her massage place is rated with five stars: she is THAT GOOD. She'll talk to you, then let you zone out once you're comfortable. Oh, and to be extremely blunt for any creeps lurking around: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A MASSAGE. This place is for people who want therapy to improve their mental and physical health. So, please do yourself a favor and make sure that that's genuinely why you're coming. Michelle is a gem of a massage therapist and deserves all the reviews that she gets. Her parlor is also located in a really awesome complex with just about everything from really good local coffee to pizza to Chinese food and bubble tea!

Let me just say Michelle was amazing and I'll be back for sure. This was my first prenatal massage…read moreand it won't be my last. Michelle is detail oriented, gentle when moving you around, but massages with the right amount of pressure. Everything from start to finish is so relaxing and professional. The room and blankets are so nice and clean. You can tell she takes care of the place very well. And you can tell she cares about her clients. I felt like a new person and didn't want to leave the bed when it was finished lol. Thank you Michelle for such a great experience!! :)

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... I know, I know... I always say that, lol To be…read morefair, this is more blog-ish then review, lol, but here it is... So I went here a while back (felt like updating my reviews, I only have the NY stuff), nice little out of the place way. SUPER close to where I live so that was cool! Location is discreet and kinda gives off a shady vibe, lol, but it's actually kinda nice on the inside - and besides, most spa places look like that, lol (at least here in this area of Jersey, lol) So I do horrible with names, so idk who I spoke to. I do know she gave me my massage and I also opted in for the table shower. That was awkward... to be fair I'm a taller guy - 6'4/6'5... HoWeVeR the set-up really was not conducive to a proper table shower situation. I've been to places (The One Mens Spa) where the set-up was conducive to a table shower... i.e. the masseur had room to walk around the entire table or at least from end to end... like the table was the long part of a T and the top part of the T is the wall. Not setting up the table shower room indicates to me that this is not something they do often and/or know how to do. And this isn't NYC...Utopia Spa can at least say that they don't have the room cause they are in the city. Pro Spa 2 (or whatever their name is - see the last review, lol) is in the edge of a big area in NJ. Any who, I digress... The massage rooms were quaint. They seem to lack decorate and everything felt kinda cheaply put together to look nice. The massage was just okay, like barely passing, C, lol. Again, to be fair, I guess putting that appearance out, making sure your name is correct, and providing A+ massages isn't really why they are there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All in all, regardless on what type of service they offered, the whole place was very #meh... like any part of the experience was very #meh... the most interesting part of the entire experience is just thinking about their existence...how they are there for so long. I don't think $100 or even $110/ $120 (depending what you paid for) is going to get you very far as business. However, they remain there and must have a steady clientele, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lol. It would be super fascinating to see the type of people that go there. If for some miracle, the owner/s read this here's the thing to do to change your stars: 1.) Table shower room: modify in that T position 2.) Add more nice decor to your rooms 3.) Figure out what name (Pro Star cause it's on your front of the building) you are 4.) Lose the creepy spa look All in all, I get it... you're not here for all that... but still, appearance goes a long way.

BUT what caught me off guard was the demand for 25% tip. She asked whether I wanted the tip to be added on the card or cash - I said card and told them I wanted to put $10. She said, and I kid you not, "sorry I put $15 because I tired" . I would love to hear from the owner on the practices they enforce at this establishment. Needless to say, will not be coming back again and would advise others as well.

It wasn't like any other hot-stone massage i received before. This one was actually a combination of swedish, shiatsu, SE Asia and reflexology "highlighted" with hot stones. I didn't need to tell Jessie, my therapist, about the tension in my shoulders. She found it and got rid of all the knots. She spent a considerable amount of time and pressure on my shoulders. The massage was very thorough and very relaxing. The only negative point I have is that the massage rooms aren't "real rooms". They're three walls (not completely to the ceiling and the 4th wall is a curtain. Because of this, you can hear a lot of outside noise which may distract you from fully relaxing. But this was one of the better massages I've ever received, and half the price of a cruise ship or other resort spa. I'm definitely returning here soon.

Great massage but the customer service is terrible!…read more The massage alone was fantastic, and I feel loose. However, the massage therapist took non stop calls and texts on her phone. Either arranging appointments, calling for extra therapists, and making other business arrangements. At one point, she took out her phone and blasted Chinese music overpowering the relaxing spa music. The best part, when she finished the massage, she accidentally left her phone in the room. I got up to redress and she walked in on me, without knocking, while I was completely nude. Even when she noticed I was completely undressed, she still proceeded to grab her phone.

This was the first time I had a massage ever. I have nothing to compare it to (I figure people…read moreshould know that to be fair.) Pros: The person who did the massage, May, did an awesome massage. She took time to make sure it was pleasant and not too hard or too soft. (I am a wimp and it hurt like hell but felt so good at the end :). ) She was patient and kind. Many people in previous reviews mentioned only a curtain in the room. The room I was in (and it looked like all the others too) had a sliding door -- I think people call it a barn hanging door or something -- I can't remember what it's called. It was clean and looked nice even though it was a small room. (Who cares? I wasn't claustrophobic or anything. It wasn't THAT small.) It was a bit chilly but once the massage began I felt comfy. Really comfy. It was perfect. There were no scents to drive my nose nuts which I really appreciated. May took her time and did what I thought was an awesome massage. I did the half hour massage and it was just long enough. Cons: May had her phone with her in the room and answered it once or twice. Also towards the very, very end another customer came and she left to greet them. I wasn't thrilled with the break. Truth be told, the massaging she did while on the phone was equally good as when not on the phone. So it didn't matter in quality but I wanted no phone. Maybe I should have expressed that. That may be my fault on that, dunno. She was the only one there and came 15 minutes late to my appointment too. I am very punctual so it annoyed me but she gave a quality massage so I overlooked it. Knowing that, next time I will know she may come late and deal with it. I'm a nut when it comes to being on time. Overall, I really had a great experience and would return. I would probably pick a little further into the day when others are there though and see if the massage experience is different. She was so patient with me when she knew it was my first time. I did some awkward things without realizing it (like keeping my shoes on) and she just took them off nicely and put them in the corner. I'd also hold onto my glasses next time or something because it was dim in the room (for relaxation I assume...and it was good....but I really can't see anything without them. She did not look strong but those hands and arms of hers are really, really strong. I was really, really impressed. Totally worth returning IMHO.
