Ken turned transformed my large sectional from an oversized dog bed to a brand new couch! My sofa is 10 years old and has endured several dogs and a cat, I was certain I'd just have to buy a new one. But Ken's work rescued me. The couch is still very comfortable and now it looks brand new. He got me in quickly, was extremely thorough and it was worth every penny. He's friendly, communicative, punctual and does great work! My three chairs he cleaned also came back to life. I'll recommend him to anyone in need of upholstery and/or carpet cleaning. read more

Ken does an incredible job! He was able to get very old stains out of our white carpet and make it look brand new.

I was recently burned by a carpet cleaning deal from DealFind and decided to do some heavy research on a carpet cleaning company that can come over and just clean a few rooms. Be careful of these carpet companies that claim '3 rooms for $50' or 'an entire house for $129'. There is ALWAYS an up sell when they get to your house. ALWAYS. The original DealFind was 3 rooms for $35 - the guy comes to my house and told me the deal didn't include soap or pre conditioning treatment and that going upstairs would be extra charge. Can i get a WTFFFFFFF. A friend recommended Moonlight to me - the owner Ken was super cool and answered all my questions. He told me that he has an EIGHT step process when he cleans the carpets - and that INCLUDES scrubbing stained areas, agitating the carpets w/ a certain device before the steam vac, etc etc. He also didn't try to up sell me on pre-spot treatment, pet odor blah blah blah, or pre conditioning treatment. Because it was all included in his quote. I love that. He and his assistant, Dave, came over the next day - called me ahead of time with an ETA as well. Ken took the time to go over the procedure and didn't mind me peeking in every 30 seconds to see if he was doing a good job or not :) But man - do these dudes work HARD. Lots of sweat and hard work. They really took care of alot of areas that other companies would have 1) charged me extra for or 2) would have done a half-ass job on. Ken went over certain areas w/ the agitator and steam vac over and over again to ensure that he got out as much crap as possible. They even use a blow dryer contraption to help speed up the drying process (it was for my home office area so they wanted to put back my heavy desk for me before they left - big kudos to them for that one!) The prices don't include furniture moving but they helped me move certain large pieces (ie my desk). But I didn't mind moving stuff before they got there. I will without a doubt be using them again in the future. My carpets look (and smell) amazing. They use this pre conditioning spray that smells like apples! Anyhow, I highly recommend these guys - it's been a long time since I've met a business owner like Ken that works THAT hard and is that honest about his business :) read more

Ken's been cleaning my carpets for close to 20 years. First met him in my PB days, and he would work miracles of the carpets that were trashed, and most would have thought unsaveable! Ken always helped us get our deposit back!!! He is the most consistent, honorable, reliable, person that I have met not only in this industry, but many others. You can absolutely count on Ken to be there, and do a great job when he gets there! I have now matured and manage a couple of rentals of my own. I know who to call anytime I need carpets cleaned, I wouldn't even consider anyone else! Moonlight Carpet Cleaning! Most recently, I hired Ken to take care of my Mom's place. I don't know why I am surprised every time Ken leaves. He makes the impossible possible! The indoor/outdoor carpet on the patio had absolutely seen it's better days. I thought for sure that it was going to have to be replaced. Ken comes in, works his magic! I can't believe that we don't need to replace that carpet for now. He did a great job inside too, sometimes you don't even realize that your carpets need a good old 8 step process. But you do when Ken's done. Can't say enough good things about Ken and this fine small local business! Way to go Ken! No surprises here! True 5 star experience! read more

Ken is not a carpet cleaner, he is a magician. As a property manager I have been using Ken for the past five years and would not trust anyone else to touch the carpet in my units. I can not begin to describe the filth and disgust I have seen, and even after five years Ken never ceases to amaze me with his stain removing super powers. He has saved my clients tens of thousands of dollars. The day Ken came into my life was truly a blessing for me and my clients. He has devised a top secret cleaning system that no other carpet cleaning company can match. He's a nice guy as well. read more

Their dry clean process really works better than anything I have ever seen.... carpet smells amazing afterwards when Ken adds some fragrance to the cleaning mix!! read more

Ken is AMAZING. I actually don't know HOW he keeps the prices so low and does the work so quickly and so well! We recently gave up a lease after 5 years, so the carpets were well-used. They didn't need replacing, but definitely needed a deep cleaning! (seriously, when I moved the furniture that had been there for a while, the carpet revealed its original, way brighter color. Gross). My landlord recommended Ken with Moonlight Carpet Cleaning, and I was on my way! 1) Ken is easy to reach. If you call the (858) number he will probably also give you his cell number, so you can even text him which makes Millenials like me super happy! 2) Ken is accommodating. I told him my ideal dates and he made it work! He even let me hide the key since we wouldn't be around in the empty house. 3) As someone else said, Ken is a magician. We had some serious spots (I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT? Is that paint? Is that wine? What even is that?) and he made it move-in ready for the next guy. He is my hero. 4) Price is AMAZING. I was expecting to pay double for the work, and for it to take way longer. We did 3 rooms for $120 (small rooms, about 12x12 average) and they looked great. He sent me an invoice to my requested email address and we were on our way! I appreciated that he quoted me the same price as he actually charged and that he didn't pitch a low price then jack it up later (it has happened too many times with other services, so thanks for being the best, Ken). I'd recommend this place highly. Great work, great to work with, excellent price, and an all-around wonderful experience. read more

A small business owner well worth supporting with your business. read more

Ken did an amazing job. I live in a bachelor pad with one other person and we have not had the carpet cleaned since we moved in over 4 years ago. Our strict diet of pizza, top ramen, and beer had become part of the carpet over the years. Ken came over on time and went to work. When I returned from work I didn't even recognize the place. The carpets looked like the day we moved in. Now I can finally bring a classy lady over for a exquisite assortment of fine meats and cheeses, Zima and a nice long talk about politics. Ken did a great job and I am extremely satisfied with the job he did. read more

Moonlight did a fantastic job cleaning our carpets at our home. They got rid of a bunch of old and new stains, were in and out in no time, had a minimal impact on our day, and the carpet was dry in a couple hours. I highly recommend Moonlight Carpet Cleaning. Ken has cleaned my carpets three times so far and each time I have been really pleased. When I moved into my apartment the carpet was in so-so condition. Management told me that they had the carpet cleaned before I moved in. After living there for 6 months I decided to try having the carpet cleaned myself. A friend recommended Ken to me so I decided to see what he could do with my place. Ken was prompt and very courteous. It took about an hour and when he was done the carpet look significantly better than when I moved in. This guy's work is amazing. I will definitely use him again in the future. read more

We've had Ken clean our carpets for the last nine or ten years, after a friend recommended his services. Ken's prices are reasonable and he works really hard. He's thorough in his prep work, and the carpets always look so much better after he's visited. He's friendly and so is his assistant, which is important to me because this is my home and when you have people into your personal space it feels much better if they are friendly and polite. Ken's funny, too, so when he comes over it feels like catching up with a friend who happens to work magic with our carpets. Call him! read more
