These poor cleaning women. The cleaners are very nice and fantastic but the management of these services has been a nightmare. I paid $780 for a deep clean for 6hrs via Zelle. After the deep clean, they said they would give me regular fixed pricing for maintenance, which was $220 every 2 weeks for 3 hrs each clean. They kept mixing up my text with other clients so it was very confusing on time, price, and duration. After they came 1 time for the regular maintenance, the management told me I had to give them cash in person from now on. The second time they came I went to the atm and by the time I came back they were already gone (only worked 2 hrs). They shamed me for not having the cash and told me it was embarrassing to ask for payment. Now after servicing my home 5 times, they tell me that my home needs picking up and changing of sheets (which the cleaners offered to do the first cleaning) is extra work and my home is so big that they should be charging me $50 more each time, but they will give me on $20 increase and if I want to pay by Zelle, it's additional $10. I tend to keep missing the cleaning ladies because they only come for 2 hrs instead of the 3hrs I thought I was paying for. They also continue to mix up my text messages with other clients. Clearly they don't know what FIXED PRICING is! Never going back! read more

I utilized the Yelp projects feature to select a cleaning service for an apartment move out and received a timely response from Lyly's Housekeeping. I was pleased with the amount of communication and ease of scheduling. The two cleaners that showed up did an amazing job. The reason for only three stars was the following... Upon completion of the cleaning, we were told that if our apartment complex charged us additional fees for cleaning Lyly's would provide compensation. 23 days later, I was notified by the apartment complex that we were being charged an additional $200 for cleaning fees. I contacted Lyly's expecting that it wouldn't be an issue...instead I was told that the timeline was too far out and that I would need to take it up with my landlord. Although they apologized for the situation, it didn't make sense to me that there would be a timeline for when we could file for compensation. The quality of the service was good; the outcome did not sit well with me. Overall I would not necessarily suggest this company just based on the lack of ethics displayed. read more

Two stars because I believe we were given an exaggerated time estimate for a job that could've been completed in shorter time. We paid $660 to clean a one bed condo which is excessive and why I feel like we were ripped off. Our condo that she cleaned is 636 square feet. The 1500 sq feet the owner mentions in her comment is my single family house with a backyard, and I mentioned it to her bc I complained that the 5.5 hr was excessive bc my 1500 square foot home with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms with a backyard only took four hours to clean by another company. So a 5.5 hr cleaning for a condo is really excessive I was quoted $120/hr for two cleaners. We asked them to clean a one bedroom condo that is 636 square feet, unfurnished but recently undergone renovations so there was a lot of construction dust everywhere. When the cleaners arrived we were quotes at least 5 hours to clean bc of the construction dust. I asked for an update at 4 hours bc we could've stopped at 4 if the cleaning is sufficient, but they forgot to do that. My mom went over at around the 4.5 hr mark and they said they needed another 1 hr to fully clean the floors. She agreed to it but it was only because we had movers coming in the next day and we desperately needed to get the job finished. It does not take 5.5 hours to clean such a small space. I am a first time mother and have mom brain, but once the fog cleared I realized we were ripped off and called for more quotes from other companies that I didn't contact intitially. I received quotes for $140/hr for 3 cleaners, and another quote that they'd clean for $180 TOTAL. Meanwhile we paid $660 to clean a one bedroom condo! It is excessive and I wonder why cleaners are being paid $60/hr I regret going with this company because I felt taken advantage of. Paying $660 to clean a one bedroom condo is excessive. I attempted to communicate my displeasure with the boss after the fact, but she refused to provide any refunds. However, there are some pluses. The communication was good (& I have to admit we did approve all the services, I just realized after the fact that we were ripped off), we had to reschedule multiple times because our contractors weren't done yet and they moved our time slots easily. In hindsight I should have pushed back more on the time estimates. Also the business refunds $20 for a good review. I'm writing all this to let future customers know what they're dealing with. We had some work done in the house so lots of unexpected allergy causing dust everywhere so we really needed something meticulous which they delivered - came next day, on time, took the time they said they would. I had a not so great experience in the past with another company so I really appreciated their attention to details - cleaning rooms in a logical order, getting the dust in all the nooks & crannies, thorough clean out of the window frame dirt - it was at the level I wanted and the house was left dust free and smelling clean too. As for the ladies, both were very personable & easy to work with. Valentina even left items post-cleaning more organized than they were before which was a very kind touch. I called Lyly for a tenant move out deep clean and she was able to provide deep cleaning services day of- she showed up within an hour or 2 and had our 320sq ft studio with kitchenette and bathroom cleaned within a couple hours. Will be posting b4 and after photos. Our tenant had 2 huskys, who had hair and pottied in the space. Hair on the walls and knooks and crannies. Window sills were spot on perfect! Door handles, light switches, baseboards, bathroom tile -spotless and squeaky clean. Lyly and her team eliminated the urine dog smell. She was there during my showings which had my future tenants very satisfied the place would be clean and ready for a child to live in the space. I would think that they are a great option for Airbnb turnovers, although I did not use her for this service. I started on my journey of finding a company that could do a deep clean to a 600sq ft place that hasn't been lived in about 20 years and had cobwebs and dust covering just about everything. It was a spider fest. I even found a praying mantis. Anyways, yelp did its thing and sent out my project request to a handful of local cleaning companies. I did have a few specific cleaning needs, so I knew it would be a little difficult to find someone who could do a customized firm quote instead of the hourly price, as I knew this was a really big and specialized job. It would take a lot of patience to clean and also honesty that the job could actually be done.  I had a few companies respond and give me the run around and some companies that just seemed super sketchy. Then came Lyly's Cleaning Company's response to my project inquiry. She was super sweet, straight to the point and absolutely no BS.  I was a little worried about the lack of reviews, but every business had to start somewhere. Many great businesses are based on referrals in person, and this is one of them. Plus, they are Yelp Guaranteed. With Lyly's service and response as well as her customizing the service to my cleaning needs, I decided to give the company a go.  I chose the firm quote, versus the regular hourly and the deep clean hourly price and we scheduled a free estimate for her to come and do a walk through of what needed to be cleaned. I loved that! She was able to fit me in for the estimate just a couple days later.   I had special deep cleaning needs such as windows and screens inside and out needing deep cleaning, sliding glass doors cleaning, all walls, ceilings and every surface, 2  balconies, and a lot of other small things I needed to be done that were super specific. Most companies don't do windows at all and I also found that most companies don't do walls or ceilings! Lyly's does it all. I have not another company on Yelp other than Lyly's that could meet all the cleaning needs. I can't explain how grateful and happy I was when everything with the cleaning company fell into place.  The day of, Lyly and her daughter showed up with all of their equipment and products and got right to it. My cleaning did end up taking a little longer than expected, but they stuck to their quoted price.  Doing the walk through once they were done, the place smelled absolutely amazing on the first step in. The floors, the walls, all fixtures and surfaces and everything in between were absolutely deep, cleaned and left in beautiful shape. I couldn't believe how dirty the place actually was before they came in comparison to how it looks now. All the window seals and sliding glass door tracks were nice and clean. They even let me know that there was a leak under the sink that I had no idea about.  They were able to do everything they said they could do and meet all of my needs beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Lyly's Family cleaning company for absolutely any of your cleaning needs. Small jobs, move out and move in cleanings, deep cleanings, weekly cleanings, I trust they would meet all of your needs as well.  I will be having them back bi monthly just to keep everything on track with the cleaning, and continue to recommend them out to any family and friends who need any type of cleaning.  I have to thank Yelp for connecting me with their company when using Yelp projects to find a cleaning service. I've done cleaning before with other companies that have been more expensive and not as great service as lylys housekeeping. 2 housekeepers arrived more than an hour late. When I mentioned to the woman who drove "you're late," she replied "SO." She then lied and said there was traffic, I reminded her it was Sat. (no traffic heading E on the 8). The housekeeper called the owner's daughter and told her there was a wreck on the freeway (another lie) and told Valentina I yelled at them. I didn't! I thought I was going to get an extra half hour free cleaning for leaving a good review, but ended up cancelling because the housekeeper was late, had a hostile attitude, and lied to me and the owner. Five days in advance of the housekeeping, Valentina booked a full deep cleaning of my brother's apartment, to include cleaning the wall-to-wall carpeting. The deep cleaning was scheduled for Wednesday and the carpet cleaning for the following morning. Valentina was very personable and empathetic, with good, clear communicating skills, thoughtfully staying in touch with me during the interim. On Wednesday, the day of the cleaning, she sent two women, as scheduled, who arrived at 9:20am and departed at 4:20pm. They did a very good job transforming a very unclean apartment into something that appeared spotless. Late Wednesday afternoon, as my brother was writing a check in full payment for their work, determined to be of very good value, Valentina told me that she was no longer able to provide the rug cleaning service that she had previously committed to scheduling for the following morning. Her subsequent efforts that evening were unsuccessful, confirming on Thursday morning that she was unable to arrange an alternative carpet cleaning service. Since my brother had boarded his African Gray parrot elsewhere, in an effort to avoid being exposed to any chemicals during the two days of cleaning, and already scheduled to return home on Friday, I had to move quickly on Thursday morning in order to find an alternative carpet cleaning service for that very day! I could certainly recommend Lyly's for a through deep cleaning of an apartment or home, yet would be unable to do so regarding the scheduling of any carpet cleaning. Ed H. read more

I called yesterday 6/8/24 in desperate need of a deep clean and reset. Azeneth was so responsive and attentive. She got back to me very quickly. I wanted my home cleaned within 24-48 hours. Withing 45 mins she told me she could have a group of 2 to clean my home and be here by 8:30-9am. I requested 6 hours and was open to adding more time as needed as long as my home received the attention desperately needed. After having 2 toddlers within 3 years needless to say my home was in need of rejuvenation and so was I. Marbella and Mercedes were absolutely amazing and thoroughly tended to my needs.
