What a cute little shop! Will be stopping here every time we run through Tehachapi! The Americano's…read morewere smooth, not bitter! Great beans! The turkey ciabatta was flavorful, had the right amount of meat, cheese & pesto to the bread ratio. The grilled cheese was good, the balsamic drizzle was missing, would have just made it better.. it was good without it. Our barista was focused on completing the orders, which is great for the traveler wanting to get back on the road, not so much for the friendly idle chitchatter! It's all good! Thanks for the great Java, sandwiches & dozen eggs to go! And attached is the current menu... they don't have tot's!

We were there on a Sunday afternoon and the Sunday afternoon knitting club was there knitting and pearling away while they sipped delicious coffee and ate delicacies from the baked goods. We were there for the delicious turkey ciabatta sandwich. The bread is toasted and it just makes the turkey spinach and tomato covered with melted provolone so much more tasty I chatted a while with members of the knitting club while we waited for our sandwich. They're there every Sunday and they knit for people that have cancer who need hats to stay warm. It's a great community up here in Tehachapi. I was impressed with it several years ago when we held a dance recital here this coffee shop seems to be sort of a club of community activity. The only downside is it does take a while to get your order because they're busy, but that sandwich was worth waiting for, and it made the miles from Tehachapi to Mojave speed by

We left with at least three whole pies! And some single serving pie slices! And a wonderful gift from the owners! There were only seven of us, but, all of that pie got eaten. And they were delicious. Banana cream, pumpkin, peach, all were to die for. The shop features a beautifully arranged selection of teas and jams and gifts and sample trays. We love sample trays. Tehachapi is so lucky to have this place and we are lucky to live within walking distance

This is half boutique and half pies/foods…read more The boutique is a nice shop to pick up something fun or a gift for someone else. I often pop in here for a hostess gift or thank you gift. They make pies (of course) as well as some other foods. Because I'm gluten-free and dairy-free, this limits me... but I'm SO happy they always have a safe pie I can buy. (And I have never had a gluten reaction to their GF items.) Their gluten-free dairy-free apple pie has been a bit bland for me. So I recently opted for their berry pie and WOW it did not disappoint! The berry pie was nice and flavorful!!! I bake as suggested by doing an egg wash on top, and that gives the top crust a really nice texture. I've also had their GF breads (because they sometimes have GF ones that are also dairy-free) and they are super yummy. The prices are a bit high, so I don't splurge too often. But I'm grateful there is safe pie for me when I really want it.

This bakery is at their home in Bear valley and it is the cutest A frame house I have seen. They have a beautiful view of Bear valley from their driveway too. I got a cinnamon roll, cardamom roll, chocolate chip orange cardamom cookies, cracked rye bread and chocolate croissants. Everything tasted delicious and my family agreed. I can't wait to come back to try out the other options they have.

Everything I bought: cinnamon rolls, pistachio rolls, Nutella cookies, fresh baguettes, and then my favorite thing in life, pretzels! They had regular or "everything" (seeds). All the ingredients are made with organic products: flour, eggs, and butter are bought locally. My first stop to my daughter's house, we had to immediately try everything. We were all just in heaven. Everything was delicious, hard to pick a favorite, but I am partial to pretzels. I can just imagine that baguette warmed up with some butter. The husband - wife team, Justin and Raquel, are so nice and welcoming. I was super excited to meet them. The only thing that will save me from going every weekend is I can't drive that mountain by myself, It's at the top of Bear Valley. So I'm saving myself some pounds that way. I have a new favorite bakery. I missed the pizza they offer, next time! 8/10/25
