My husband and I decided to check this spot out and we were happy that we did. Everything was very fresh and very tasty. I was very suprised that all the meat was not frozen and it was fresh. The prices were also amazing too. I would highly recommend going to this spot. The service was great as well. read more

The burgers were pretty good and the fries were good too with the spicy seasoning. I like the service, it's pretty quick and you can see them working hard. Place wasn't busy when we went but it was nice and had some outdoor seating. Probably not my favorite burger place but I'd come back. read more

Average experience. I had an impossible burger, fried and a drink. It was good. Nothing to write home about. Service was distracted and useless. Walked in and placed my order on the screen. Two people working yet somehow it took 20 minutes for my food to be ready. They were having their own personal conversations and watching videos on their phones. Tables were dirty and napkin holders needed to be refilled. read more

Not my favorite burger. The service here was quick and accomodating. There is only counter seating along the walls. I ordered the MB classic and it was just mediocre for me. It unfortunatelty was't very flavorful and the patty was dry. Liked the bun though! read more

Dining in is a lot better than takeout! I like this a lot more than Shake Shack plus they have vegan options too! You can sub for impossible meat and vegan cheese. The portions are generous and its a better value than shake shack. My boyfriend and I casually came here for lunch on the weekend, and it was a little busy. They do a lot of takeout and delivery orders so prepare for a little wait if dining in read more

I mean what a chicken sandwich. The service is great, food came out really fast and the workers are angels. Place is dope too good music

I looked at the reviews and couldn't help but to just try it out myself. I've tried quite a few burgers and these burgers were definitely delicious despite the poor ratings. The Double classic cheeseburger is so huge. I ordered delivery via Ubereats and wasn't disappointed because packaging was courteous and food was warm on arrival. Now, Was it the best seasoned burger I've ever had? Of course not, but it was huge and tastes very good. I'm not a fan of the special sauce though. It tastes like Mayo-ketchup blend with a hint of spice, nothing special, BUT......their cheese sauce? Have you tried their cheese sauce? Pour that onto the burger and I bet you'll find that it elevates the burger to a higher level. I found it to be a nice level of greasy, delicious smash burger but BIG! The fries were nice and crispy too but nothing is special about those. I look forward to ordering here again. They've won me over as a customer for late night eats. read more

The burgers here are really good! The impossible always gets me..I love the ambiance of this place. Simple, yet minimalistic and chic. Even the bathroom has neon in it. I am writing this review specifically for KiKi!! When I walked into the place she smiled and gave me the best greeting ever! I said Wow! I want to walk out and come in again!!!! So she said you should!!! So I walked out and then back in again... Her vibe and her coworkers welcomed me in the right way!! It was so satisfying!!! Next time you go to Moonburger in Williamsburg, Ask for Kiki and thank her for being so amazing!!!! Let's celebrate these superstars instead of spending so much time on these jerks and rude people!!! Thank you !!! read more

Wasn't the biggest fan. I thought the burger was dry and didn't really have enough sauce. The fries were cooked well, but I'm not a huge fan of spicy sweet seasoning. I much prefer spicy savory. Overall just not my cup of tea! It's really cute inside, but the seating isn't very functional. The seats were way too high, so that you had to hunch over the counter to eat your food. Not very comfy! read more

Overall, I was really hoping to like this place, but unfortunately the food was less than mediocre. My partner is pescatarian, so we were excited to see both beef and non-meat (impossible) patty options on the menu. The service was fine and the ambiance is pretty cool, but the food itself was not worth coming back for. We ordered a double cheeseburger, a vegan burger, a large order of spicy fries with nacho cheese dip, and a brownie milkshake batter. The double cheeseburger was far too salty and also dry. If you're looking for a juicy, tender burger, this is not it. The vegan burger was overly peppered, which I noticed after trying it myself. The pepper completely overpowered the flavor. The spiced fries were disappointing. They were not very spicy and the flavor overall was not to my preference. Wish I got the normal fries. They were only slightly warmer than room temperature and had a mushy texture. I prefer fries hot and crispy, and we ended up throwing out about half of them. The cheese dip was also only half full, which was disappointing considering it costs extra and the container was already small. The milkshake was the biggest letdown. For $7, it came in a very small cup, was full of air bubbles, and was not served cold. It appeared the milkshake machine was not working properly at the time, as the employee was adjusting the machine as if she was scrambling for a batch to serve. If the machine is down, customers should be refunded or the item should not be sold rather than serving a poor-quality product. This is an honest review of our experience. I really wanted to like Moon Burger, but we left disappointed. The food was not bad, but, definitely nothing special. read more

I popped in here since I was in the area, and had been wanting to check this place out. It's a decently sized space, with lots of bar stool seating and a clean and spacious restroom, which is always a plus. They have beef and vegetarian (impossible) burgers, along with fries and drinks to choose from. You order from a tablet and it's pretty easy. The food came out quickly and everyone working there was really nice. I ordered the impossible burger and fries, and while it was good, it wasn't anything special. I've had better meatless burgers other places, so I don't know that I would go out of my way to go to this place again. read more

I ordered a burger and fries at the store and I waited 45 minutes for it. They kept giving out orders to door dashers before people ordering at the store. This place sucks don't go here if you want quick food. read more

Customer service here is absolutely terrible. There are 2 screens to order from. It wasn't busy nor did I see anyone to ask if the cheese sauce was on the side or on the fries. I purchased 3 combos. For each combo I had to choose if I wanted cheese sauce and/or ketchup for the fries. I chose cheese sauce for 1 combo. As my order was being prepared I said "oh I see the cheese sauce is on the side, could I have 2 for the other combos although I chose no?" She said "ok, it'll be $8.16" which blew my mind!! I explained I chose no bc I thought it was on the fries but I'd like it on the side. She said she had to charge or she could call her boss. I agreed to wait while she called her. The boss said I had to pay the $8.16!! I was shocked and refused to pay that when the combo was the same price with or without the cheese sauce. You can see on my receipt the combo with the cheese sauce is the same price as the combos without the cheese sauce. read more

good simple burger fires are just normal . smash burger i liked it a lot good quality

The burger didn't taste good at all. Had someone also tell me that these were better than In-n-Out. I make burgers at home and have culinary experience. There was no love put behind these and I truly hope it may have been a bad bad, inexperience chef, etc. Will go back if I'm in the neighborhood this winter for a taste check. read more

I didn't even know Moonburger was a vegetarian burger joint until taking a huge bite of the "Classic Cheeseburger" and only thought that the meat texture was odd at first. Didn't think it was vegetarian, also mostly my fault for not reading the super tiny fine print underneath the pic before placing an order from the LED menu. Didn't search up the eatery before going in either. What attracted me the most while passing by was the red, blue, purple, and green LED lighting that I saw from the outside. Passed by this place all the time and finally decided to go in today. Of course I should've checked that it doesn't serve meat though. Nevertheless, size wise was decently spacious and there was an ample amount of seating with the bar stools against the wall. Service was a bit slow because there were lots of orders in front of mine. Staff was still patient and friendly though. They couldn't print out the receipt due to a glitch in the system for that day. The vegan cheeseburger almost looked like its meat version from afar. Scent and texture wise were different. Too late for me to head to a regular burger place serving meat when I ended up realizing the truth in the end. Burger didn't have an amazing wow factor like other Yelpers had mentioned before. It was decently okay although I probably don't see myself going back again except maybe for the fries and vegan shakes. Fries came out to be piping hot and fresh from the fryer, so at least that was great! Cheese sauce was okay as well, not the best but it wasn't bad to dip the fries in. Was given few packets of ketchup in the white paper bag. Staff was stingy with the paper napkins, only gave me two pieces when I asked if I could get more. Pricing was more on the expensive side since the location was in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. You could get a combo meal of burger, fries and soda for about $20. The bathroom was really cool with the huge, green "Moonburger" LED lighting on the wall. I ended up taking several mirror selfies. There were also sounds of birds chirping and the waterfall flowing as the audio in the background. Cool vegan burger joint for those who didn't want to opt in for the meat version. read more

Super slow service. Toast said it was ready and I still waited another 20 min. I saw someone order and get their order while I was waiting. One worker was frantic and the other dgaf. I saw one worker opening each burger and spreading sauce on it after it was already packed. When I got my order, it was pretty soggy and they forgot my lettuce. read more

vegetarian and vegan friendly burger joint with tasty burgers, friendly service, and a cool retro vibe. my favorite out of my combo order was the smash burger. brownie batter milkshake was interesting - you could really taste the oat milk, but the drink did taste like brownie batter. moonburger is def on the pricier side though, it's like shake shack if it were even more boujee. more for those late night cravings at 2 am after a night out. read more

Don't go here. Do not come. The food is terrible - the burger I had last night at 11pm is STILL rotting in my intestines (it's 6:30pm rn). It's chewy. Soggy burger. No seasoning. Stopped by for some burger and fries on Friday night. The vibe is fun and retro. I ordered a big combo cheeseburger, which came with fries (you can pick the hot fries) and a drink. I also got some cheese dip (recommend). I waited for about 6-7 min or so to get the food (it was pretty busy so not bad, considering). Overall, not a bad bite! It is an impossible patty - I kind of wish they would make their own vegan patties but I like impossible too. It is messy though, so get some extra napkins. I'd stop by again if I'm craving a burger/fries. Didn't get to try the shakes this time around but they looked good! read more

Reminds me a lot of Shake Shack when they first started & hadn't sold out yet. Lovely burgers and a not-too-greasy grilled cheese, with fries that are perfectly thin and fresh. The cheese sauce is how I remember Shake Shack's back in the day. I actually stayed in to eat because the dining room had such fun lighting & the space was very clean. The food does take a minute because everything is made to order, which is fine considering everything else is top notch. read more

Came here to check this spot out while passing by and the red interior caught my eye. The burger itself was alright, very average but not as great as you'd expect. The hot fries were average too, nothing much really stood out from them. I'd say if you're interested in trying this place, then go ahead and get the cheeseburger and fries, but otherwise if you're looking for a great burger, there's other burger places in the area that are definitely better in my opinion. read more

My first time here with MattyEats food tour. Perfect location in WB. Quick, self-service counter where you can customize your burgers any way you like. I got the MB Classic single and my burger came messy, probably because I was the 1st order in a large group, but nonetheless, I freakin loved it! Great bun, perfect smash burger with juicy flavor from the meat and tangy pickles. I'm usually not a tomato and lettuce fan unless I'm feeling super hungry but thankfully no tomato was offered on the classic and the lettuce was crispy and not wilted at all. Could have used a bit more sauce but I still tasted it throughout the burger. The fries reminded me of McDonalds fries, but 1,000 X better. Cheese sauce wasn't the freshest, or so it smelled and looked. Maybe check on that guys! Next time I'll be sure to grab a shake and the T-shirts are FIRE! read more

So my boyfriend and I are waiting for our order and while waiting, the person that is handing out the orders has an attitude yelling at the pickup drivers. The attitude alone was absolutely disgusting !! Telling people "if you don't know English you shouldn't be working as a driver" is absolutely insane. On top of that, tables were dirty and the garbage was full. When I got the food, the burger was dry the bread was hard and burned, I didn't even want to go back to get a refund. Overall bad experience and I would not recommend! read more
