Food was delicious. Came in at around 4 and it was slow. Our server was great but it did take forever for us to be greeted and checked upon. I think there was a big party. Food was delivered promptly!

I can't even lie I walked in and was a little uncomfortable at first. This was my first time coming here and there were a lot of bikers and I thought ohh noo I picked the wrong restaurant. AND then my waiter walked over and was the best waiter ever!!! I wish I had gotten his name. He helped me choose a great drink and the food was wonderful. I even ordered desert for me and my husband. Parking definitely not an issue and I learned a great lesson that day..never judge a book by its cover. I definitely am coming back and would strongly recommend you come to. Store nice and clean, plenty of parking and drinks severed out of mason jars. For some reason I feel like I am getting more ‍. Would have taken pictures of my great meal but my phone dies

I give the drinks a 4 compared to the Philly cheesesteak we had which was very mediocre: needless to say first time here and the moonshine is what attracted me to come here: we actually did the lemon drop martini to start then I tried the moonshine cocktail which I chose the blueberry flavor. I do want to come back and try the flight though and they have daily specials that are pretty good.

We stopped here on the way home from CH and I found it on Yelp. It doesn't look like much, and is honestly pretty run down and there is an odor I can't describe any other way but just "old wood." But! I trusted my fellow Yelpers and ate here. While it's run down, it is clean. There was not a speck of food on the floor and the tables were clean. The service was phenomenal - there when we needed her but didn't bug us. She was also very genuine. The batter on the fired pickles was beautiful! Seriously. And, it was also delicious! A lot of pickles come in this app! The entrees were both good. The burger was over cooked as I ordered it medium and it was well done. Not a big deal. What we didn't know until we got in there and saw the plaque is that this place was on Bar Rescue with John Taffer. Hmm.

Great saloon atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was a good step above bar food. I'd definitely order that steak sandwich again. And even though I don't like onions, the onion rings looked and smelled so good, even I was tempted! Plenty of parking and the place was clean. Nice bathrooms too.

I had ribs, grilled shrimp, broccoli, and a baked potato. The food is amazing. We played music bingo, which was so much fun. Our waitress Victoria was very nice and got everything we asked for. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be back again.

Brisket sandwich (Dec. 2024)

Food was pretty good. Brisket sandwich was good, my wife gave it 4, but the sauce was a little spicy for her. We are not spicy people though. My fried chicken sandwich was ok 3. The chicken was kind of dry, but all the cheese helped. We would go back, but we liked the one Hwy 42 in South Garner better. It has a nicer atmosphere and better service (at least when we went).

I lucked out and arrived on Monday night when it was $6 burger night. A limited menu of their excellent burgers, and I chose the one topped with bacon and cheese and onion rings but LTO. With a side of cole slaw because I'm still enjoying my keto diet and losing weight. Service was excellent. The burger was top quality and size. For $6.50 with tax? A complete bargain. As my server didn't charge me for the soda (oops?), I gave him a $6.50 tip. Well worth it. Great burger, nice little saloon theme going here. [Review 11918 overall, round number 1700 of 2019.]

Awesome Baja dog and the best fries in NC. Husband enjoyed the steak and cheese. Awesome drinks too.

Great local place with a really nice menu. The drinks are always great and the owners are super involved involved in the community.

No reason to come here. Too many other options around town. Service was excellent but nothing else. Food was terrible. Bar NOT rescued.

Everyone from the host stand to the wait staff and the management was polite and accommodating with plenty of recommendations and were sure to have several table touches and top off my water 5 times! I really enjoyed my Bull City Off Main Hard Cider, a local brew. It paired perfectly with an order of the Voodoo Deviled Eggs which had an incredible presentation! My wife also order the She-Crab soup which was also a delicious start to our meal. My main was the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was a cross between a fried and blackened cook and was perfectly set with plentiful amounts of bacon, cremini mushrooms and seasoning all atop a mound of cheddar grits. It was one of the best I've had in some time. So far, my favorite place to eat in Raleigh/Cary, NC

On Wednesday's they were doing all gluten-free menu and it was amazing...no crazy unreasonable upcharges, just honest menu pricing and great food. As of this review they are the #2 most reviewed place in Raleigh only behind the Pit. When we went last week for a farewell dinner it took us 3 weeks to get in. We got turned away 2 other times. The place was always packed and busy yet cozy and calm with great service. Hopefully they relocate or put some of the items from the menu at Pooles. Fuquay could use a nice place like this and it would be way cheaper than Raleigh! Best of luck to the staff in the future as they all look for work.

I understand as if you aren't seated when they open, you can expect a 90-minute to two-hour wait. I was hoping to get the Chicken Pot Pie this time and thought my prior visit was just off. I was thrilled that most of the menu was available. They were just out of the banana pudding. So I got to try the pecan wings I read about with the white sauce. It was so good. Then I got the chicken pot pie and biscuits. The pot pie had old biscuits for the topping, but the creamy mixture with large chunks of chicken was delicious. My biscuits came with honey and were served warm. I left with a slice of the chocolate-caramel-coconut cake, a side salad without onions, and a fried boneless thigh. The salad was made correctly, and the dressing was included. The salad was full of veggies, and the cake was rich and moist. Service was friendly and as soon as I finished my iced tea, another appeared. My wings were brought out first and it was a while for the rest of the meal as the restaurant was full. But they didn't rush me at all. I actually liked the space between the dishes, as I might not have been able to eat it all otherwise. I couldn't finish both biscuits and was even provided a container for the honey. I am going to miss Beasley's, but I'm glad I got a positive experience to remember the restaurant.

They greeted me as soon at I walked in the door, so nice! I placed a pick up order for a flounder platter. It comes with 2 sides and either a roll or hush puppies. I chose the Mac n cheese, candied yams, and hush puppies. They have lots of sides to choose from. I will say the food was amazing! The hush puppies however tasted like fish so I wasn't a fan of that. I wanted to order one of their many desserts but on the online ordering they only had 2 pound cake options and I really wanted to try their banana pudding. I will definitely be back for more!! I wasn't too excited because it's not the type of place I'd usually pick, but I went to go along with the group. It ended up being the best place we went during the whole visit to Raleigh. First off, the biscuits and hush puppies they bring out to start were so good. They were better than the biscuits we had at breakfast at a nearby restaurant that actually specializes in biscuits, and the honey butter was intensely flavorful. I just ordered the 4 sides because I'm not a big meat person, and while they were good, once I tasted the cheeseburger someone else at the table ordered, I ended up stealing it from him. They grind the beef for the burger in house, and the quality of the meat is top notch. The service was also 10/10. I don't normally notice or care about service since I'm just in it for the food, but this is one of the few restaurants where I felt genuinely welcomed in. I will absolutely be prioritizing coming back here again next time I'm visiting.
