First time here as this place was recommended to me. I was 15 mins early for my appointment and they got started right away. I am so pleased with this place. Great pricing and amazing service. Nina did an amazing job and was meticulous. Very clean vibe as well. Recommending to all of my friends.

Cannot recommend enough! I have seen Te twice for gel and dip, and both times I received the neatest, gentlest, most thorough manicure. I have a lot of hangnails and dry skin and she took it upon herself to clean up every one. And the polish itself was done perfectly! The attached photo is two weeks after my dip service and my nails look as good as the day I got them. So happy to have discovered Moon Nails!!

Favorite place to get my nails done especially at Christmas. Amazing nail artist (Nina is her name I think) created exactly what I wanted.

I normally don't leave reviews, but felt compelled to leave one for this experience I had. First of all, they were way understaffed and overbooked with appointments. Most of the technicians were working with multiple people at the same time, which just isn't a good practice for the employees or the clients. Because the technicians were so rushed, they were not paying as much detail to the quality of their work, and I felt as if they were just trying to get me done and out the door as quick as possible. Secondly, my gel manicure started to chip after one week. And when it did start chipping, I could tell how thin and brittle my nails were when previously they were healthy even after having a gel manicure done a few times at a more expensive salon. Thirdly, the manicure itself was very uneven. I'm not one to ask a technician to redo nails, but I did ask her to redo my thumbnail because the ridges were extremely obvious. When I brought it up to her she tried to blame it on my natural nail plate shape, but my nails were totally fine before I had the manicure done so she was just trying to save face. She did end up redoing it and it was a little better, but still not smooth. Lastly, and most importantly, their tools were not clean. When my technician pulled out her box of nail Dremel tips, it was completely full of nail dust, and all of the instruments were covered in nail dust. I didn't trust that their cuticle tools would be clean so I requested her not to cut my cuticles, so I don't know that what the state of those were. They also use UV curing lamps which I am not a super huge fan of and I feel is very outdated since it's well known how bad they are for your skin. My technician was nice and she shaped my nails well, but overall it was not a good experience and I will not be returning. The price was really good, but I guess really you do get what you pay for. read more

I'm not sure who did my toes, but she is wonderful. The whole salon is kind, sweet, and non-judgmental. I called beforehand, because I have a toenail fungal infection (that I'm taking antibiotics for), to see if they'd work on my toes. To my surprise, they said yes. Obviously embarrassed about my feet, they handled them with care, discretion, and detail, all while being friendly. My toes are pretty bad and they did an amazing job at restoring my confidence. I highly recommend this salon. From the staff to the actual pedicure, I am super satisfied. Thank you Moon Nails! read more

Terrible quality, I had a to wait and hour and 15 minutes just for 3 pedicures, and only one person got a pedicure. Would not recommend. Terrible service and nobody should go there. Over booked all of their clients, the full set my family members got was globby and inconsistent. DO NOT GO THERE read more

Tony is the absolute best at Moon nails! I have been seeing him since 2020 and every single time I am blown away by the way my nails turn out! Definitely go and see him and the rest of the team at Moon nails. My nails and pedicures are always amazing! My daughters friend recommended this place. She got her nails done by Tony. They turned out great. We came back recently for a full set for my daughter and I. We both requested Tony and he was great! We have pretty crazy schedules and Tony gets booked pretty fast so getting in was kinda hard but he came in on his day off to get them done for us! Everyone is so nice & every pedicure I've gotten here too has been great! Prices aren't crazy either which is nice. I ended up breaking a nail about a week later because I'm not so smart and slammed my nail against the wall when cleaning. Tony fixed it super fast and didn't charge me extra! Where do I start.. love this place. Great quality! Everyone is amazing, professional and skillful. Up to date with trends at very reasonable prices. Hannah is my go to for pedicures and really you can't go wrong with anyone there. I love the neighborhood feel, everyone seems to be regulars. I'm grateful to have found this place. It's so hard to find this level of quality especially after just moving here from Manhattan Beach, LA county. I've even had lip and eyebrow wax here. The best! My partner went with the intention of having his nails clean, trimmed, smooth, and taken care of. Four treatments later, his nails are ridley breaking off, thinned out the skin around the nails, completely splitting in areas. Staff used big blocks sandpaper to file down the nails without regard to the skin around it. It will take the next six months to regrow his nails to a healthy state. I went to get a pedicure and manicure. After the manicure started peeling off after a couple hours, I opted to go for a gel manicure. Taking the gel off involved having my nails sit in acetone and drill bits used to sand off the gel. Needed to make another trip to have more residue filed off. My nails show the ridges of the drill bits, being 50% thinned out and now breaking off horizontally. It will take me also six months to have healthy nails. Horrible results and the opposite of what we wanted to happen. read more

Tony at Moon Nails is fantastic. I've been going to him consistently for over a year for a gel x manicure and he's easily the best in the biz. I frequently get complimented on my nails even after 3.5 weeks of growth! He's a perfectionist in his technique which can cause the service to be slow at times (I always allow for 90 minutes) but his price is competitive and the result is worth it, my nails look perfect and typically will look nice for a month. Can't recommend Tony enough! read more

I had cut my own gel covered nails prior and that was a mistake because it made them more uneven Jennifer spent a lot of time getting my toes in order. My appointment was at 4:15 and I didn't get finished till 545 pm. I left my Stanley there , and Jennifer called me and waited for me to return to pick it up which was after closing . also a quick note: Jennifer take Venmo or cash.

Apparently you can't give zero stars but if you could I would have. DO NOT GO HERE! I used to get acrylics ALL the time. I took a break for a couple years because my nails had started to grow a fungus so I was told I needed to stop for a little. I was getting my tires done at Evans Tire next door and this place was open so I decided to treat myself to a full set and a pedi. As I mentioned earlier I've had acrylics done probably about 100-200 times prior to this and this was the WORST job I've ever had. First they did my pedi at the table while I was having the full set put on, I don't usually like this but did not feel like saying anything so I let them do it. The lady that did my pedi, well lets just say I could paint my own toe nails better, there is paint all along the sides of my nails. One of my biggest pet peeves when I get my nails done is when there is paint along the sides of the nail. I mean I am getting a professional job so it might as well look professional right? I let this go. After the lady had finished shaping my acrylics she asked me to take a look at them and see if she needed to do anything else. I looked and I really don't like when they glob the acrylic on super thick, it makes it look un-natural and is a lot more difficult to maneuver with so I asked her to sand them down a little more. She gave me grief about it saying if I broke a nail its not her fault... I'd had every nail person in the past sand my nails down no questions asked and no side notes or disclaimers saying if I broke them it's not their fault. I knew I would be fine so asked her to sand them anyway. Again the paint job on my acrylics left paint along the sides of my nails. What pushed my last button about this place is when I got home I looked at the pinky of my left hand and there was BLOOD, yes BLOOD all along the under part of my nail and on the sides. I was like what the heck. I inspected my finger and she cut my cuticle, the side of my finger and under my nail. This was the last straw. I went back to request a credit or something as I not only paid $60 for the acrylics and the pedi but I tippped them $20. No credit was offered, she actually pretended she didn't speak english when I requested a credit. Instead she sat me back down and proceeded to try to put glue on my cuts!!!! I yanked my hand away and said what are you doing?!?! She said glue will stop bleeding... What?! who does that?! Band aids stop bleeding not glue! I stormed out of the place and told them I would ABSOLUTELY not be going back here. They didn't seem to care. I have never been treated like this at a nail salon. If you make someone bleed and in more pain then they were in prior to getting their nails done, they should be owed something a little more then putting glue on their finger and trying to claim you were not the reason for the bleeding. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER I COULD DO A BETTER JOB THEN THIS PLACE!!!!! read more

She greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. The salon itself was clean and cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a little self-care. Ashley listened to my needs and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire service. I absolutely love this place! I always call ahead to ensure they have availability and avoid any long wait times. The staff is always super friendly and does an amazing, detailed job on my nails. The owner is always so nice and attentive, which adds a personal touch that you don't get everywhere. The vibes here are way cool- they play great modern music and even have music videos playing, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. I especially enjoy coming here with my husband - it's our little ritual.. Our go-to is the #1 pedicure option. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it for the quality and the overall experience. I recently visited Moon Nail for a gel manicure, and I was really pleased with the result. While they don't have a large number of technicians, the quality of their work is truly amazing. I love nail studio. This place is very clean and they do quality work. You can make appointments or walk in anytime. After asking me how much shorter I wanted them, she actually handed me the nail clippers and suggested that I clip my own nails. I declined because I was there to receive a professional service. During the manicure, she accidentally filed into my skin, causing it to bleed slightly, and then immediately applied alcohol to the area, which was quite painful. She also grabbed the wrong polish color and generally seemed distracted and careless throughout the appointment. To top it off, the service ended abruptly. There was no hand massage or lotion application, which has always been part of my previous manicures. Instead, she put a small amount of cuticle oil on my nails and told me to rub my own hands together. Overall, the entire experience felt uncomfortable from start to finish. I felt judged for wanting shorter nails, and the service came across as rushed, inattentive, and unprofessional. I've had much better experiences at this salon in the past, which made this visit especially disappointing.

The main reason I'm updating my review is due to an appointment I had scheduled for today. I scheduled for 1:30, but she had me down for 1:00, so when I arrived, I was told I was 15 minutes late. I understand the importance of timing and respect (as I used to sell cars and customers often flake), but there have been multiple times where I've arrived early and been asked to come back 30-45 minutes later, which I've always accommodated without issue and end up spending extra money at nearby businesses while waiting. Because of that, it was frustrating that there wasn't any flexibility extended to me for what was clearly a simple miscommunication. Consistency and mutual respect with scheduling really matter to me, especially as a returning customer!! I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that it's taken seriously. I'd like to continue coming here, but only to see more consistency in both service, communication and quality moving forward.
