I'm so glad I was able to check out this studio! It was my first ever official yoga class and it was a great session for all levels. Yoga mats were available for rent for $2 and other accessories such as blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters were already layed out. There were some candles lit and the room was dim making for an extremely relaxing atmosphere. The yoga instructor was great and explained the poses and transitions very well, as well as helped coach the class with breathing. I appreciated the pace of the class and overall it was very relaxing. Nothing too challenging and this was a great introductory class.

The entire retreat area radiates an energy of peace and "Zen" from the moment you arrive. I attended the Gentle Yoga class led by Cristina, and she was incredible. She is soft-spoken, calm, and clearly very knowledgeable in the yoga arts. Her guidance helped me achieve a genuine sense of alignment and body harmony; it was the perfect environment to relax and deep-stretch. I also brought my mother along, who is a beginner. Cristina's teaching style was perfect for her, helping her find a great balance of movement without feeling overwhelmed. This is hands down the place I would choose to visit during times of turmoil or distress. I know that stepping onto this property and into one of these classes would immediately help me reclaim my peace. Highly recommended!

It was a great studio for both newbies and seasoned yogis alike!!! I highly recommend getting there! They also have such cute jewelry made by one of the students there!!! October 24, 2019 Update to prior review I was recently in Tampa again and excited to get to this studio, it's been years. I was disappointed that the owner was out of town, but I did get to take three classes during my week stay there. Pros: the teachers were very nice, gave great directions for both beginner level and seasoned yogis, the receptionist Rebecca was EXCEPTIONAL she guided me in getting the right package, and even texted me after to thank me for visiting the studio, I thought it was a lovely personal touch. Cons: the prices were a little on the steep side to me, and I didn't have many options since I was only going to be in Tampa for the week- I ended up purchasing a month package because it was cheaper than me purchasing individual classes or a package- each class was $21 and a month package of unlimited classes for new students was $30- Other tiny bit of criticism- there was an "advanced" class listed, I was looking forward to learning more advanced poses or working on some challenging balances- however their version of advanced was actually more that it was a "power yoga" class with aerobic incorporations with yoga- ie. repeated movements to increase heart rate...for me in my practice, I enjoy more rhythmic movements from position to position and more focus on even breath...a more traditional vinyasa flow. Overall it's a great studio and down the street from my apartment so anytime I visit Florida I will definitely be practicing there!!! Namaste

I even attended a yoga retreat weekend one time last year, which was amazing. So, I am not too experienced or consistent and I had never been to an actual yoga studio. I have started having some back issues and wanted to check out how yoga would help me. I found this studio which had a new student discount for 1 month unlimited. I signed up and am LOVING it! I travel to Tallahassee each week and back and forth to Tampa so I can only attend when I am in Tampa, but I truly miss not being able to go on the days that I am in Tallahassee. I would say that I have been going almost 4 days per week the last few weeks since I signed up. The teachers are professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and help educate you. I love the special added touches of incense, the equipment provided, the atmosphere, and so much more. The entire experience is amazing. If I ever attend another yoga studio out of Tampa, they will have a lot to live up to compared to my experience here so far. Highly recommended and I am excited to see where they go as they have appeared to be getting great interest and new members in the local community.
