She let us pick the table of our choosing and handed our menus immediately. Since we already ordered from this restaurant many times for delivery we already knew that we wanted to try the puttanesca in person. No shocking it was absolutely delicious! we ordered it medium well with rice and french fries. (The meal comes with rice, beans and your choice of French fries, tostones or yuca frita) For drinks we both got fruit drinks which were so tasty! I've tried a lot of mora con leches around Jackson heights but this one stands out for sure. They make it with the right consistency, flavor, not too sugary, and not too milky! I definitely wanna come back here and try more options!

Their menu offers an array of dishes ranging from small bites to feast for the eyes and your belly. One dish or rather protein that is a focal point in their menu is chicken since they serve a lean cut of chicken breast or rotisserie chicken paired with rice and other sides. Do prepare your stomach to feast at this restaurant and your ears to listen to some lively music while dining. The servers are very sweet, attentive, and patient for first timer such as myself visiting this restaurant especially in this NYC heat. But I do speak Spanish and part of my family is from Colombia so it was a plus and flex for me since I got to connect more with them. Overall, this restaurant is ideal spot to dine at after visiting The Noguchi Museum. That's my personal recommendation since you get to feed the mind with art history then feed yourself with some delicious Colombian food.

I've been to Inca Paisa before, and unfortunately it has never been my first choice. The only…read morereason I return is because it's my grandmother's preferred restaurant since she lives nearby. We arrived around 6:20-6:30 p.m. There were plenty of open tables, but we weren't seated until much later. During that time, the male waiter seemed more concerned with other tasks. He was seating a woman whose party of six hadn't yet arrived, going back and forth to the kitchen, handing out receipts, and collecting menus. After all of that, he finally approached us--not to seat us--but to ask, "How long are you going to take?" I replied, "Sir, we're here to eat." He responded that the side tables were for people watching the game. I explained that we were there to dine, as this is a restaurant. Even after we were seated, he avoided our table completely. He took the order of a table that had been seated after us while we continued waiting. About 20 minutes later, a female waitress noticed we had not been helped and took over our table. She was attentive, professional, and the only reason we received service. After placing our order, we waited about an hour for our entrées. The food was also underwhelming. The Papa a la Huancaína came with an excessive amount of sauce and very few potatoes. The Ceviche Mixto lacked the bright citrus flavor that ceviche should have. My grandmother, who is very familiar with Peruvian cuisine, found it bland, and even after taking it home we couldn't improve it. The Bistec Encebollado was slightly too salty for our taste. The beans simply weren't to my liking, though that's a matter of personal preference. Another issue is the dining room layout. The seating is extremely tight, to the point where it feels like you're almost elbow-to-elbow with the tables next to you, making the experience feel cramped. Overall, this visit was disappointing. Between the slow and inattentive service, the long wait for food, the cramped seating, and several disappointing dishes, the experience did not justify the visit. The female waitress deserves recognition for stepping in when we had been overlooked, but unfortunately she couldn't make up for the rest of the experience.

I've visited many Latin American restaurants but I don't think I've checked the box next to Venezuela so this would be a first time entry for me. Going inside the area, it's relatively small but since I was the only customer at the time, it was spacious. The waitress Paula was a sweetheart and served me well as I was figuring what to take on in this restaurant. I went for the standard Arepa Burger, fries and for dessert, I did want the brownie with ice cream but they didn't have that available so I settled for churros with nutella. The wait wasn't too long, very much short of 8 minutes when everything was set. The Arepa burger came loaded with Shredded beef & Chicken, black beans, Shredded white cheese & maduros. For what it's worth, you'll get your fill from this makeshift burger, it was so filling. The fries were done with excellent detail, firm crisp texture along with taste and goes pretty well with the Ketchup & Mayo mixture the place had with one of their condiment bottles. When it came time to take on the churros, I immediately got thrown off because they're not the churros I'm normally used to. Instead what was smothered with the nutella happened to be cheese sticks and at first I thought it was a mistake but seeing pictures on here, that's basically what it is. I do love cheese sticks and I do love nutella, but in my opinion they're not meant to be combined so I had to forgo it. Everything else was top notch. The food was very decent and the service was proper so everything I got was $23 and I threw in a $7 tip to round it off to $30 total for the meal. They got many different variants of Arepa sandwiches so there is certainly revisit value in this place and I can go for that.

It's been a many moons since I had a proper "Reina Pepia'" and I certainly don't remember it the way they serve it at Arepas Burger. Their is not bad... but, I'd like the chicken in it to have more presence. Their tequeños are alright (obviously, they'd be a infinitely better when they are piping hot), their Chicha was definitely a delightful treat... but, not at $9/cup. The burgers are good, but, $16 (just a burger, not a meal) is getting close to midtown prices. Their food is definitely pretty good and the prices are lower at the store, but, we will definitely not be ordering again any time soon (maybe for pick up if we happen to be in their neck of the woods).

Came here for a little small belated birthday dinner for a friend and we had a very nice time. We each just had a dish since we knew the portions are BIG. The menu is extensive and there was a lot to choose from. They even offer some Mexican and Italian dish options. I had the Grilled Skirt Steak (Monterey), which was SO BIG I had leftover for lunch the next day. :) the meat was pretty tender and juicy. The dish came with tostones (big) and rice. We were also served salads to start. What stands out a lot is the amazing service here. They are so polite, friendly, patient and helpful. The restaurant definitely seemed staffed properly which I suppose was a good thing because as the night progressed, the place filled up (for a Thursday night). My friends had the salmon and the Chicken Franchise. I took off just one star because they ended up charging my friends twice (but rectified the mistake), hopefully her funds will sort out. They also charge extra if you want to make any side substitutions... which isn't kind of crappy. The place is also beautifully decorated and spacious. Will def be back very soon! Next time we'll partake in an adult beverage maybe :)

We were actually surprised it wasn't busier for a Saturday, but that worked out great for us since our party of four (2 adults and 2 kids) was seated right away. The menu was available on an iPad, which made browsing easy. I ordered the grilled chicken with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. My husband ordered the chicken with a white sauce and really enjoyed his meal as well. My older daughter loved her grilled steak so much that she had to take some home for later! My youngest kept it simple with chicken fingers, which she happily finished. They also offer fresh juices. The girls ordered mango and strawberry juices, and both were delicious. One thing we thought was really cool was that the TVs played the music videos for the songs that were playing throughout the restaurant, which added a fun atmosphere. Before leaving, we checked out the bakery section and picked up a Nutella croissant and a chocolate loaf. The girls absolutely loved both treats! The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great meal and will definitely be coming back.
