We came to celebrate a few birthdays and it was such a good choice! The combo B is a good value, we got the Beef Chadolbagi / Wagyu Brisket + Mugifuji Pork Belly + Mugifuji Moksal / Pork Collar + Hangjungsal / Pork Jowl with Kimchi Jjigae and Strawberry Soju. Angie is awesome, she talked us through pairing the combos with the sides and sauces. I wasn't as much of a fan of the pork jowl, it was too chewy for my preference. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, we will be back again!

I don't say this lightly, but Moonbongri BBQ might be my favorite KBBQ I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, everything just worked. First off, they cook the meat for you, which instantly elevates the experience. No one at the table is stuck babysitting the grill, and the meat comes out perfectly cooked every time. The quality of the meats really stood out. The hangjungsal pork belly had beautiful layers of meat and fat, the gabeurisal pork cheek was soft, buttery, and full of flavor, and the beef sirloin was cooked just right. Everything tasted intentional and well sourced. And then there's the rice. Super well seasoned and topped with flamed cheese, which was an immediate yes for me. Add in the sliced radish kimchi fried rice and the gyeranjjim, and the table was stacked with comfort food done right. The vibe is fun and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. Honestly, the only complaint I have is that I didn't order more. They just opened, and I already can't wait to go back. Moonbongri BBQ is outstanding and absolutely worth the trip.

Kimchi rice with cheese, steak, and pork belly - all winners!

Great spot! Came here with a friend for dinner on a Sunday night and had a truly lovely experience. I've never been to a spot with this kind of hot plate before, which was very neat. I also liked that the staff helped us with the cooking to ensure everything was done to perfection. We started with some kimchi soup that came out piping hot and flavorful. Then came the pork belly and steak, both of which were tender and just mouthwatering. The veggies and side accoutrements were also a nice tasty touch. We ended with the kimchi rice (with cheese!!) - a recommended specialty - no regrets there. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and as an extra bonus, they offer this really delicious hot water that is infused with corn silk and barely and yeah... I'm obsessed. Parking is also super easy. Would certainly come back!

The brisket (beef chadolgui) and intestine (daechang gui) were top tier. Best kbbq in Colorado

The food was fantastic and probably the best k bbq we've had since being in actual Korea. We got samgyopsal and mackchang(don't be afraid to eat intestines, they're delicious). The banchan was fresh and tasty, the meats were very good quality. Our server was friendly and attentive. You're going to pay a pretty penny but it's totally worth it.

Food quality was excellent! Loved that this was a new spot, and it is fresh and shiny. Plenty of parking. The ladies were polite. The timing and service still has room for improvement. The grill was actually extremely hot to sit near. May have just been our table. I realized after I left we never got our Doenjang Jjigae.

$70 worth of food according to the menu )):

Very expensive and still hungry after 6 people Bill was $300 total $35 for beef brisket (we ordered 5)- the meat shrinks, my boyfriend could have easily eaten 3 orders by himself. $35 for pork belly (we ordered 1) $9 cass beer (we ordered 4) - these were good & they were huge bottles ! $245 $50 Gratuity was included $300 total after everything Everyone was still hungry after: we thought if everyone got one order of meat that would be plenty but it was not enough to feed everyone. Staff was very nice! And it was really pretty inside, nice ambiance. Gets hot in there but that's expected (:

Best Korean BBQ in Colorado by far. The service was great. The place is very clean. They'll give you the side dishes right away. Overall great experience. Will be back for more!

I saw that this bbq place just opened on tik tok and we decided to come for dinner on Sunday around 7pm and there was about 5 other tables there. We ordered daechang, pork jowl, and brisket for our protein, we also got the steamed egg, kimchi soup, and ended our meal with the fried rice. The meat was very high quality and everything was also really good. We knew they just opened so service was a little slow and it took awhile to get everything and the food came out at weird times but it'll get better with time. The servers were all really nice and attentive though. My favorite was definitely the pork jowl and it was so tender. Will definitely come back!

Overall fantastic experience! We went one day after the soft opening and ordered the beef chadolgui and the samgyeopsal, along with the japchae. The food came out pretty quickly, the servers helped with cooking, and generally were very good. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and ambiance overall as well. The only thing I wish they did differently is have non-alcoholic drink options aside from water, but our dinner overall was great!

IYKYK. As a Californian currently living in Colorado, finding a good Korean BBQ can be challenging. So.... Go now and go soon. I went during the soft opening weekend and the food and service was phenomenal.. I got the combo in order to try different cuts of pork and the brisket at once. Pork normally has a scent that I cannot get over sometimes. Not a single whiff of anything fowl here. The chadol was REAL chadol and you can taste the nuttiness from the fatty brisket. Chef's kiss!!

They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

I'm glad we came and discovered another restaurant we can add to our list. It's def a more modern Korean restaurant from the interior alone. But food was delicious. I was interested in a lot of items on the menu u so it was hard to choose from. The dakgalbi lunch special was an actual full on lunch with sides and soup. The galbi tang was pretty good. The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.

However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the warmth of the owner! We walked in Thursday night at 11pm. It was one of the only Asian restaurants in the area still open after our flight landed. As expected, the customers were sparse save for 2-3 tables of diners. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.

We each got our own side dish with 4 side dishes. There was cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and a soy braised potato with fish cakes. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated. Overall, I would probably go here again if I was in the area and wanted a got stone bibimbap and didn't mind a wait but its definitely not a place to go if you're starving due to the potentially long waits.
