Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. Excellent portions and highly recommend coming here with a small group so you can share. This place isn't too big though. Jokbal was tender. One of the best I've had here in A-town. The experience here is exactly what I want from Korean BBQ: lively, satisfying, and easy to settle into for a while. The cheese corn is an absolute must and easily one of the best sides on the table. The steamed egg was fluffy and comforting, and the meats were the real highlight. The pork belly was rich and well cut, the bulgogi was flavorful, and the short ribs were tender and cooked beautifully. Add a few bottles of soju and suddenly you've lost track of time in the best way. This is the kind of place you go with friends, order generously, and just enjoy the night. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. We each got our own side dish with 4 side dishes. There was cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and a soy braised potato with fish cakes. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated. The flavors were all authentic and great. My biggest gripe was that there wasn't that much food even though it was made for 4 ppl (how many ppl we had). The short ribs were all cut, so 12 pieces was more like 2 bites per piece rather than a whole "rib". Some of the pieces were particularly fatty (that happens with short ribs, so it's not necessarily the restaurant's fault), but it decreased the amount of meat on that "piece" as well. The bulgogi was tasty, but similar to the ribs, the plate just wasn't filled. The tofu stew was good, not great. It comes with 2 clams and a fair amount of tofu. The banchan have a one time refill included which is great! We could probably eat their banchan all day. I didn't see that written anywhere though.
