After walking in I was greeted and asked where I wanted to sit, we eventually decided a table. For one?!?!yeah sure. After finding out whose section i was sitting in, I placed my order and within 10 minutes my food was on my table! Hot and delicious as it turns out. The ribs were tender, perfectly seasoned, juicy and smoked to perfection! I did not need sauce but tried a few of them Anyway. LOL! The bbq baked beans were also perfectly done, tender, full of flavor, savory with a little bit of heat and three types of beans which worked somehow. Now the biggest surprise to me was the potato salad, which 95% of restaurants get terrible wrong. This one was an 8 out of 10! So my service was great, the food was great, it was fast, hot and delicious. My one negative is that it's located in North Dakota!!!!!!! Also the place was full of families with kids but the ambiance was still chill enough to take a date. 10 out of 10!

The brisket we were served was mostly fat. Very little meat. Their hot BBQ sauce was tasty! The brisket plates were $21 each, we expected a decent sized portion. What we received were children sized portions. Their Mac & cheese and broccoli were both really good! Also, their okra. We had signed up for their Rewards Program prior to visiting. However, upon check out we did not receive the promo we were supposed to receive, nor did we receive credit for the $75 we spent on our visit. Charging customers a high premium like this, you would expect the rewards program promos and credit to be a bit more seamless and functional. Lastly, we were overcharged on our bill. So do be mindful of this if you visit. Would probably not consider going back here. Can definitely get more food for your $ some place else.

Oddly, i've never been to this chain until this evening…read more The decor was very nice. Kind of a step up from Texas roadhouse, which is kind of honky-tonk - fine in its own way, but can be really loud. Longhorn is definitely not that, it was quiet and classy. It was a nice place to have dinner. I had the 9 ounce renegade sirloin steak with steamed broccoli and Caesar salad. Pretty basic, but the steak was cooked perfectly for me. I like medium well and it was exactly that just a hint of pink. The taste was really good and the steak was tender. The broccoli was nice and crunchy. The Caesar salad was OK. It wasn't great - a little heavy on the croutons versus salad, but it was OK. The warm loaf of wheat bread was really yummy with melted butter. I liked that a lot. The only downside was I wanted to try the French onion soup: I ordered it but I never received it. I was never charged for it either so it wasn't that big a deal. And I certainly could live without it, but I did want to try it because it is my favorite soup and I tend to try it everywhere I can get it. Granted, my server did make that mistake, but otherwise she was delightful. Really pleasant, professional, checked on me without being overbearing. Kept bringing me more club soda without having to ask for it. So she checked all my boxes. The next time in my travels when I would like a steak and not pay through the schnoz, will look for this chain.

I am committed though, so go ahead and tempt me with bread and candy and popcorn and all other glutenite food. I will resist the temptations like they are non existent to my mind.
