A wonderful discovery on a business trip to Minot. Located in a strip mall off Broadway, next to Dominos Pizza and caddy-corner from Aces Lounge. The famous Pink Thai Truck is now at a fixed location. Thai Tea, Fried Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Chicken Penang Curry, and Chicken Ginger Curry, followed by Mango Cheesecake and Mango Sticky Rice fully satisfied our party of three. Wow...this place was so awesome that I had to go back the next night just to get another piece of cheesecake. The reviews for this place pulled me in on my first night in town and I wasn't disappointed. So many interesting things on the menu but I selected the Pad Cha. When asked about spice level, I asked if their scale was North Dakota Spicy of Thai Spicy and she said Thai. So spice 4 it was. Food came out very fast and looked incredible. I am happy to say that the waitress was right...there was actually some kick to spice 4. So it was perfect for this dish. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. For dessert, I tried the Mango Passion Cheesecake and a Thai Iced tea. The cheesecake was amazing, hence the return the following night. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Minot! read more

This was my first time ordering from here and it was great. It is a local favorite for Thai and came recommended by multiple people. I ordered take out this time and the food was fresh and packaged excellently. The staff was friendly when I got there too. I remember when it was called Einstein, great food truck definitely. Now this one particular place has a Little flavor of the sweet side. It certainly does make up for lack of sour, which is ok, don't get me wrong. I have this one ranked at number 3, very respectful. It's very good in options. Some of the pastries, you gotta try, the triangle things are mmm good. Try the spring rolls.. Heat is there, especially in this region. Ambiance is good for a wait, its usually very busy. Usual dishes you should try are the ones you know, it's like a Gordon Ramsay thing. Every Thai place i get a few staples, all have a uniqueness which is nice. Get there no later than 1.5 hours before they close, otherwise you get some ehhh surprises in the yummies. But still good.... Try Thai is great for a fix, lot of options. We normally go to Little Blue Elephant for our Thai food, but they were closed, so we decided it was the perfect time to try Try Thai Food. We had a great experience here! We started off the night right with the most amazing cucumber salad. It was refreshing and flavorful. I would come here again just for that! It's not on the menu, but make sure you ask for it. Oh, and make sure you look at the bottom of the plate for more dressing because it falls off the veggies. (: Our meals all tasted great as well. We all enjoyed our food, and there was the perfect amount on our plates. I ate my own food but tasted bites of all my family members' food. Most of us liked our food, and a few of us loved it! My favorite dish is the massaman curry but their friend rice and noodle dishes are great too. I catch them on the way home from work every few weeks while they are parked by the ReHab second hand store near the Bremer Bank location on Broadway. Excellent Thai food. My wife and I were craving Asian cuisine on our travel from Minneapolis to Williston and found this food truck listed on yelp. We had the Phad Thai Rice with beef and Red Curry with chicken, which we enjoyed at nearby Roosevelt Park on a nice summer day. Both are very tasty. The Phad Thai Rice was exceptionally delicious. I may drive 2 hours from Williston to order it again. The owner wants to share her authentic Thai cuisine, hence the name "Try Thai Food," and you won't regret taking up on her offer.
