Worst ever. says they tried to deliver a package yesterday at 4:45 and thee was an inerference with an animal. Such a bold face lie. There was no one home at 4:45 and if there was an animal, it was inside. no one in their right mind would have a dog wandering in this frigid weather. Envelope addressed to person not at my address delivered to my address on thursday, May 16. I returned the envelope to my mailbox noting that this person was not at this address. Friday, May 17 and Saturday May 18, carrier refused to collect return mail from box. The carrier for Friday was not my regular carrier, didn't see the one for saturday. perhaps more training would clear this issue up. In my experience this is a perfectly average Post Office. I went in to buy stamps, waited in line a few minutes, a hand full of other people were there. To me it seems like if you are doing normal mailing things, it is a perfectly find place to be. It is pretty normal in my experience for a little bit run down post office. Plenty of parking, down a road away from most things. read more

Always only one person working & the line takes 20x as long. If you have a package to mail out, you must go inside because the boxes outside only can fit letters & slim items. There are package lockers and PO boxes within this building. The parking lot is also relatively small here. read more

Wanda was a sweetheart! I was just sending one piece of mail and it was only .60 cents for a stamp... all I had was a $20 so I handed it to her and she asked if I had any smaller bills... I told her I didn't and she just said don't worry about it and she pulled .60 cents out of her own pocket and paid for it for me. Thank you Wanda you're awesome... Spent most of my lunch hour waiting behind one person in line. After asking for a book of stamps the cashier fumbled around behind the counter and then went to the back. When she finally came out she informed me the stamps were locked up and nobody had a key. Having been to this location before I wasn't expecting great service but this is very lame even by postal standards. read more

On August 24, 2020 a mailman who I now know to be Darryl Simmons arrived at my home to deliver/pickup mail. Upon arrival I waved my arm to grab his attention to alert him there were packages to be picked up. I asked him hold on please. He yelled at me "Lemme park my damn truck" I was shocked he spoke to me this way. I told him he was very rude and a verbal altercation ensued. He told me he didn't have to pick up my mail. He told me "it ain't my job to pick these packages up" he called me a "broke bitch" and he dropped my packages labeled fragile to the ground. I told him that this entire encounter was being recorded by my ring door bell and he said "so what". He said and did all of this while on his Bluetooth/phone. He kept toggling between yelling at me and speaking to whomever he had on his phone. He was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I told him that I was going to report his behavior and he said "I bet you I'll still be carrying mail tomorrow". Unfortunately, with RING doorbells it only records in intervals, not continuously. So much of this encounter was not recorded. However, I was able to retrieve a small clip that allows you to hear his negative tone and awful disposition. It captures his response when I told him I was going to report him. He said "I bet you I'll still be delivering mail tomorrow." I have attached the clip to this email for your review. This man made me feel threatened. He made me feel unsafe and was extremely disrespectful to me as my 6 year old son stood at the door to bear witness. He did all of the above simply because he didn't want to pick up my outgoing packages. I am still frozen with disbelief and shock with how this man spoke to me. He is a disgrace to the US postal service and an embarrassment to all courier professionals. I should not have to feel threatened by my mailman and my son should not have to witness such behavior. This man is not allowed at to my return to my home ever again. And I certainly hope you take this situation seriously and follow with some form of disciplinary action. This type of behavior is unacceptable. I intend to also share this footage with the local news as well as my social media outlets to bring awareness to this type of unthinkable behavior. read more

I visit this post office about once per week and have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff. I called this post office that services my area, to make an inquiry. At first, the phone was busy. When it was finally picked up, the individual who answered must have had the misconception that they were answering their personal device. The manner and tone were abrasive and uncouth. The United States Postal Service provides a customer service, yet customers who pay to use the service are treated in an unpleasant manner. Retraining is needed. Even one bad review is too much. The other reports that I read, signifies the fact that this issue is not isolated and there are too many who are getting a dose of disrespect along with their service. read more

Rude Rude Rude is the only way to describe this post office. I am on a training route they say and we never know when or if we are getting mail. Sometimes its at 9 pm other times they don't bother to come down our street which is a dead end with only a few houses. I am still waiting on a package from early June that they can't find and also some neighbors are still waiting on package they ordered in September 2016... When you call this post office they are rude and when you go up there , rude to your face. I have reported them to the Washington DC Post master General but it does no good. read more

This post office is incredibly unprofessional. For about a month I had not received my mail from anywhere. I live in a house divided into 2 apartments and the top apartment had no problems with their mail being delivered. I have been living in this apartment for over a year and had been getting mail regularly until March-April. I contacted the Montrose office and the USPS customer service line. Both of whom told me they would call me back (which i was told 3 times, so far, and possibly a 4th). I never received any call back. In fact the only thing I did receive was extremely awful customer service. I spoke to a total of 3 employees several times (including 2 supervisors) who were all rude to me. My mail started being delivered again as normal, however, I still had not received the mail that was not delivered before nor did I receive a follow-up from them stating what happened. I called the post office again today and spoke to a supervisor who told me she would contact the carrier and call me back. I waited 2 hours and no phone call. I called again and got a different supervisor. She had a very rude attitude, put me on hold and attempted to contact the carrier. As before when they tried this 3-4 times over the past month, the carrier "could not be reached". As I returned home after the phone call I found my mysteriously missing mail on my concrete steps leading down to my apartment. It was about 3 feet away from the mailbox (which the carrier never had an issue getting to before) so I know for a fact that it was deliberately thrown on the stairs. A piece of extremely important mail that had been mailed March 25th, 2016 according to the DMV, was included in this pile of unprofessionally handled mail. It is clear to me that the carrier has been keeping our mail from us for whatever reason. this post office has been of no use to me in figuring out why this has happened and they have no sense of professionalism or customer service. There are still items that were meant to be delivered by now that we still have not received and I would like to know why. This has been a miserable process for about a month. read more

This station has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The manager, supervisors and clerical staff behave as if they're in middle school. Instead, of trying to assist the customer, they behave as if its a "personal issue," instead of finding a solution to the problem. When a customer states that they haven't received "regular mail delivery" for over two weeks. The response shouldn't be "its out of my hands" or the latest one, "does it have a tracking number"?? Since, when does "regular mail aka sent from vendors or personal letters" need a tracking number. This is the type of verbiage used, instead of proper assistance to resolve a major problem of "No Mail Delivery." The entire staff should be reassigned and a new professional and efficient staff should be placed there. After reading another customer, who has experienced the exact same issue, its horrible that the United States Postal Service is slowing this type of unprofessionalism to continue. They have "No regard for their customers," who are paying their salaries. A investigation needs to placed on this station to investigate "Why mail isn't being delivered to its customers for weeks at a time."!!!!!!!To make matters worst, once I said that I placed a "Fraud Case" on this station, their response was to send to another station stating that is where my mail was going. I went to that station and the only clerk stated, "that that station only collects packages and certified mail." I called Customer Service to place a complaint and was told to leave a voice message for the manager, who would return my call by the end of the day; which she never did. This type of "rude service" is exactly why the volume of customers have dropped; especially in areas that are unprofessionally staffed.
