Maybe we just had a bad experience with this place but we definitely won't be coming back. the room was small, which we know is a part of staying in older European cities. But this one was smaller than most. so much so, I constantly banged me elbows against walls. They also send an email asking to confirm and asking if you wanted anything upon arrival (early check in, late check out, an iron for your room etc). We asked for late check out and an iron for our room. We received a confirmation but when we arrived, neither were available and the staff looked like they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about them.
But all of that, we could live with. What makes this a place we won't go back to is the fact that the room had a very bad odor to it. We had to sleep with our window wide open on a cold and rainy night because I just couldn't stand the smell.
Would rank this 2 stars except they did offer us free breakfast and waived the city tax as an apology for the inconveniences. read more
