Came with a party of 6, the waitress brought over chips and salsa with guacamole crema to start We shared a pitcher of the house Margarita. They were very good and caught up quick. We ordered Tacos de birria and Quesa-Birria both came with consome bone broth. Both were very good, but the meat was just a bit fatty The establishment was clean and our server, Karla, was friendly and made sure we got all we asked for. Had to opt into the bathroom selfie lol. And the mural is stunning

Came here with a party of 6 for a late lunch. Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed chips and salsa to start . Salsa tasted so fresh. We ordered a pitcher of their house margarita. We poured about 5 glasses out of it. It didn't taste strong but it was! For my main course I ordered the BIRRIA quesadilla. It was good. My sister order the fajitas and they looked amazing! They Came out sizzling. For the rest of the family they enjoyed a cheese quesadilla, nachos with melted cheese on top, ground beef tacos and BIRRIA tacos.

This was our first time at the new location. What an incredible improvement! Great Ambiance in the restaurant and the bar area. Very Lively and busy. Reservations are recommended but not needed. We were able to find two seats at the bar on a busy night. The menu is still as great as before. Highly recommend.

Went to Monterrey the new location for happy hour. I ordered a margarita it was very good as always the price was great for happy hour. I ordered the fish tacos (2) the fish was very moist and fresh. It also had a great coleslaw dressing on top. The refried beans and rice were very tasty just wish it came with sour cream . We also had chip & salsa as soon as we sat down . The new atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The staff all had smiles on their face very friendly. It's a little jam in Bristol with great Mexican food.

This restaurant has moved to a new location and WOW, what a glow up. I've always loved their food and service and I never cared for the look of the place. All I cared was about the food but their new location is absolutely beautiful. It's right in downtown Bristol, the building is brand new and the space is huge. The decor is a 10/10. Food and service still great as always!!

Chicken and beef empanadas, chicken flautas, and Americano tacos!

Went there today, first time at the new location, used to frequent the old location all the time! Delicious food, wonderful staff, great atmosphere & environment. 12/10. Today was taco Tuesday where you can get 2 tacos for $8, and they had plenty of kinds to pick from, ranging from fish tacos, beef, chicken, pork, all the way to birria tacos. Will definitely be back soon!!!

Fresh Mexican! I enjoyed a taste of the tamales, stuffed poblano was loaded with well seasoned grilled chicken breast. The rice was very well seasoned. I absolutely loved the guacamole! Chunky and loaded with cilantro, tomato, onion. Chips are really crisp and I liked that they weren't salty. I also tried a sausage taco. I noticed on the menu it didn't say chorizo so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was very tasty, unique flavored chopped up sausage link. The spices were different than chorizo, I think I tasted ancho chili. It was good for something different. It did have cheese on it which I wasn't expecting, Oaxaca I believe. I didn't get a chance to take pictures, we were too busy stuffing our faces! Definitely would recommend

I'm given them a four stars based on their food and service. The outside of this place is a dump. The neighborhood is a dump, but they are moving soon so hopefully it looks much better. Like I said the service is great. Food was good. I wouldn't necessarily drive more than 20 minutes to come here, but if you're local, it's a great place to get a drink and some food. Definitely give the chaufa rice dish, a try it is excellent With more of I would say a Peruvian twist than Mexican.

Chicken Taco Salad

This was the best taco salad probably ever. The shell was perfection, savory chicken, loads of lettuce and tomatoes too. They also serve complimentary chips and salsa. Perfection!

Good food at a good price. Service was friendly, but slow. Very casual, reasonably clean. We had beef and shrimp fajitas which were fine.

Good tacos, good prices, small shop…read more Came here on a whim. Missus liked the tacos here and wanted me to try. So we made the trek to give them a shot. Inside is all business. Sparse decoration and the kitchen takes up a majority of the tiny space. There are tables, but it's very much a To-go place. We ordered some tamales, some tacos and some chips. Went to the salsa bar and got a bunch of sauces to try. Drove to a parking lot to take pics and dig in. The tacos were a little overcooked and under seasoned. They tasted good and were dressed simply. They all needed salsa to really shine. The chorizo was the best bite. Just enough spice and seasoning to stand well on its own. The weakest being the ground beef, which was dry and not seasoned beef. The tamale was good, cooked in a banana leaf, good masa and the mole filling was hot and sweet which chicken used as the protein. A well balanced bite. The chips and salsa were basic but plentiful. Price was reasonable given the quality. It's not a date night Mexican place. It's a place for regular folk to get decent Mexican fare at decent prices, good portions, and basic but executed well tacos. It's great for those who are around the area, but not a space I would try to hunt down

I opted to order a couple tacos to-go and try their chicken and mole tamale on special. Wow!! The proteins were cooked perfectly with flavor - so all the taco needed was cilantro and onion - like they are supposed to be done. The tamale was probably the best I have ever had. Using a black mole inside the tamale the chicken was moist and tender. My favorite value was the salsa bar - at no additional cost you can choose from about 6 different salsas, from a variety of spicy levels and flavors. Also included is Jalepano, radishes and some other small things. A great idea that adds true value to the customer. Overall this is a taqueria that I will drive to!!! When I am in the mood for tacos I am here. I should also mention they do have a full Mexican menu with entrees and such. So many items to try to keep you coming back.

Sebastian told me about the drink special for the night and I tried it. Not only was it delicious but it was an imersive experience that was so fun and amazing. It came out in a closed box, when he opened it, it smelled fruity and floral. I got to take it out of the box myself. It was a cool experience and I enjoyed the drink so much I ordered two. Come here for birthdays, fun dinners, and anytime we want Mexican. walked in today for Father's Day and completely new menu. Seems like they are trying to go upscale and my best wishes for them just not feeling the vibe myself. The chips and salsa, which are always amazing is now replaced with a circle tortilla which looks fancy, but tastes rather bland. We ordered chips with queso just because we love their chips so much. Food was much smaller selection and was still pretty good definitely cut back on portions, which is fine. New drink menu is much smaller missing lots of the frozen drinks so I wish them all the luck just doesn't feel like this is a good old fun Mexican restaurant looks like they're trying to be something they're not

I met up with old friends Dave & Patti N. for lunch at their suggestion, and I'm glad I did. They seem to know all the best little chow joints in this whole town! A bowl of nacho chips and in house made salsa were promptly brought to our table along with the drinks we ordered. The salsa was clearly made of fresh ingredients and was very good. I started with a bowl of their Mexican chicken soup that had vegetables, lots of rice, and Mexican spices that made it stand out from the run of the mill chicken rice soup. All very fresh ingredients, and just a nice hint of heat and flavored with fresh cilantro. I opted for the beef fajitas that came to the table with sizzling hot onions, green peppers and beef steak chunks served on a scorching hot piece of stoneware. Sides included the typical rice and refried beans, along with guacamole and sour cream. A very generous portion of everything and really excellent tasting. Patti had the chili con carne with a side of refried beans & rice. I sampled the chili...that'll be what I'll have on my next visit. It was fantastic and spiced just right for me (I'm not a fan of overly hot, spicy foods). Dave had an enchilada with the ubiquitous refried beans and rice that looked very tempting. We left the restaurant completely stuffed! I'll be back!

The prices on the lunch menu were reasonable and they had a good variety of options for lunchtime. We tried the shrimp fajitas, quesadilla oaxaca, and quesadilla tijuana. Plenty of food for our party of 3. The quesadilla oaxaca was definitely our favorite but all food was great. They give complimentary chips and salsa too; chips were good but the salsa could use some improvement, perhaps more onion or fresh herbs rather than a tomato sauce like base.
