He dropped by the day after I contacted him through Yelp and was able to come by later that day to work on my desperately overgrown home. I didn't expect much, and I didn't need much since I'm a new homeowner and the lawn was the least of my focus, but there was no denying that it looked terrible, and Frank blew my expectations out of the water. He was so comprehensive, thorough, and professional. It took him two hours to get my lawn in order and I couldn't be happier with the results.

However, if anyone is thinking of Grow…read moreand Control, do give them a chance as Jesus had been nothing but professional during our entire interaction. Prompt followup, prompt responses, no pressure. If it was in my budget, I really would have given them a chance on their professionalism alone. I didn't have to 'chase' responses. They came timely. Not overwhelming. They have a very comprehensive price breakdown and payment schedule, so payment isn't all upfront but in increments as the job is completed. Even declining they remained professional. Thank you again Jesus for your patience! I wish you and your company success for the excellent customer service.

Already time for another update wow! We've been with the awesome team at Grow Control 3 years now…read moreand I just can't say enough good things about them! Krystal, Jesus, and all their staff really provide professional, quality service and care for our yard and irrigation needs. We initially got started with them for a total clear out and clean up of our existing landscape and ended up sticking with them for weekly maintenance services and little projects here and there and have never looked back! Anytime there are issues, they are on it!! Today was another example - I asked Steve if he would just check up on my back sprinklers bc I noticed they didn't run Monday and when he did, he found a HUGE leak in one of our main irrigation pipes! Our house is kind of old and starting to need a lot of repairs so I wasn't completely surprised but the leak was pretty big. We had to turn off all the water to the house and wait for them to get one of their irrigation and plumbing experts over. Richard showed up almost immediately and had us all cleaned up and back in business in no time!! He even hung around to make sure all the leaking stopped etc. I was blown away - I figured I'd need to call a plumber and go through all that nightmare but no!! Grow Control took such good care of us! And this is the level of care and service we've received since day one! They're so fantastic- really takes a load of stress off my mind. They're caring, reliable, excellent at what they do, and very reasonably priced. We're still planning on completely redoing our yard - switching to all native plants - and when we do, it'll be the Grow Control team we trust for sure! THANK YOU everyone at Grow Control for all the years of TLC in our yard!

5-stars for Juan & his crew at Gardening Service Co.! Because of his 5-star Yelp reviews, we…read moreinitially found Juan to do some gardening/backyard maintenance. On a Friday, Juan stopped by to survey our gardening needs, had some helpful suggestions, and said he could get started the following Monday. His crew got right to work weeding our silver carpet grass as well as trimmimg overgrown ivy and general clean-up work around the front & backyard. We soon learned that Juan & his crew were MUCH more than a maintenance service. Because there was some extra yard-design work we had held-off on, we realized we'd better tackle it now that we had such a capable crew. We had some design ideas and Juan said 'We can absolutely do all of that deconstructed granite work, design it with bender boards, pick-up your desired plants at a nearby nursery (as well as some gravel for design) and plant everything. In short, within 2 days, Juan, Daniel, Jesus & crew transformed an overgrown back area into a desirable drought-tolerant destination on our property. Not only that, they took down a small concrete block wall and custom-built us some really great swinging-gate redwood doors for easy access. (At a third of the cost a vinyl door company had quoted us!) They also did so much more (including scraping & painting the side of our 10' barn) and were always ready & willing to pitch-in however we needed them with really great attitudes and super-pleasant work ethics. Not only will they be our go-to garden maintenance crew, they will also be our first call for any other yardscaping we might need done in the future. Thank you Juan for being so easy to work with, reasonably priced and so responsive to our questions, comments & various needs. Another 5-star review for Gardening Service Co. by Juan!

What impressed me most was his attention to detail. He didn't just do a quick surface-level cleanup--he was thorough, and the difference is noticeable. My front and backyard look so much cleaner and better cared for.
