The office is clean and well-organized, and the procedure itself was handled with care. One important note: be sure to double-check your insurance coverage thoroughly before your appointment. While the office does check your insurance benefits, what your insurance says it will cover and what they actually cover can be very different. I ended up paying significantly more out of pocket than expected. Just had another two cracked molars removed by Dr. Bhaskar. His skill, professionalism, kindness, and willingness to patiently explain everything is wonderful. I was scared of the pain of getting an I.V. for a few reasons. Dr Bhaskar told me that he would use a 24 gauge needle. He also made a special request to have a pediatric anesthesiologist, Dr. Stephen Long, do the insertion and procedure. Dr. Long called me the night before. He had a very calming and empathetic attitude. He listened to my fears and requests, (and didn't act like I was being foolish) assuring me he would do his best. It went flawlessly. He also put anti-nausea medication in the i.v., and I didn't get sick at all afterwards. Dr. Bhaskar's entire staff are all efficient, really nice and helpful, with a special thanks to Elizabeth who answered my numerous questions. Highly recommend Dr. Bhaskar and his team. read more

Dr. Bhaskar and his staff did a phenomenal job removing all four of my impacted wisdom teeth. I was nervous because I've heard unpleasant stories from friends who've gotten their wisdom teeth taken out but Dr. Bhaskar assured me it would be a painless procedure. My mom drove me to his office so she could take me back safely, the procedure went well, and was indeed painless. Dr. Bhaskar made it very clear what I should and shouldn't eat and he said I should be back to normal in a couple weeks or so. He was right. I didn't experience any swelling which was a relief. Overall this was a very good experience and I highly recommend seeing Dr. Bhaskar if you need to have a similar procedure done. My daughter needed to have her wisdom teeth removed before she goes to college, and his office fit in a consultation and surgery appointments for her. I had a family emergency during my daughter's surgery, and Elizabeth (at the front desk) even offered to drive me to the hospital! After her surgery, Dr. Bhaskar continued to check-in on my daughter. Everyone at this office is amazing, especially Dr. Bhaskar! My 6 year old daughter had an abscessed tooth and the infection was spreading rapidly. The dentist had given antibiotics but they weren't working. Urgent care and the ER had turned us away saying it was a 'dental issue'...she was getting worse and had developed a fever and no one would help us!! Until we got in touch with Dr. Bhaskar. He saw the seriousness of the situation and saw us ASAP. He and his staff worked hard to get the referrals needed to get my daughter admitted to the ER. Dr. Bhaskar performed the surgery to remove 2 teeth at the hospital and then followed up for the 3 days we were at the hospital after. He is kind, caring and I cannot recommend him highly enough! What I really like about going to Dr Bhaskar is that he empowers you with choices about your own care. Everyone is different, and how they handle procedures is different, therefore you get to choose what level of sedation (if any) you are comfortable with. This is the most unprofessional office ever. Three times on three separate appointments they canceled me and rescheduled months apart. All three times less than 24 hours notice and I lost three days wages because of their incompetence. The last appointment I showed up to but unfortunately got called in to work two hours earlier than expected. When I asked if they could see me earlier, the reply was "your being rude and I'll need to confirm with the doctor". Then in received a letter stating, and I quote, " we do not share a mutual understanding with you" and gave me 30 days to find a new dentist, which I gladly found that day. read more

I accompanied my grandma here. We had an appointment time either last week or two weeks ago. When we came into the office the waiting room was empty beside some walk-in patients for a consultation. They were seen immediately and we waited a good 50 mins in the empty waiting room. I saw one patient or assistant leave from the back room. There are probably a lot of things going on behind the front waiting area but seeing as how SLOW it was I cannot understand why we waited that long. I'm sure the doctors are fine, and everyone was nice, but sitting in a waiting room for a long time with no obvious reason makes for a frustrating experience. What's the point of setting an appointment time if it just to make us to hurry up and wait? I don't think they deserve a bad yelp rating for it but I'm hoping they see this review and think of ways to efficiently schedule appointments and see patients. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Bhaskar for almost ten years. I was born with a wacky set of teeth and he's performed a number of surgeries on me. I really do not have enough nice things to say about his practice! My best friend and I had our wisdom teeth done on the same day because Dr. Bhaskar is incredibly efficient! However, he's also very great at his job. Every one of my surgeries I have known I'm in the best possible care and have had a healthy recovery. He frequently calls to check in on patients afterwards which I appreciate. As someone with huge anxiety around needles and blood, he's very calm and attentive. Dr. Bhaskar's receptionists, nurses, and the whole staff is amazing. They all remember your name and things about your life and they provide excellent care before and after seeing the doctor. Everyone is friendly and kind. The practice is spacious and they have movies and coffee. They offer excellent prices for procedures and are accommodating to each patient's financial background. They also provide excellent recommendations for products and referrals to regular dentists. X-rays are quick and easy in their office. I don't dread coming to see Dr. Bhaskar which is the highest praise I can give a surgeon! I am very lucky he's my doctor. read more

The was evident while she was in the operating chair, his back was turned towards her 80% of the time while he watched the HGTV channel that was on during part of the conversation. Seemed he was more interested in remodeling his house than her mouth! Not very professional. I did not have any complications from the procedure because he put me on antibiotics several days before the procedure and the aftercare was excellent.
