We have been patients of Dr. Carl since we moved to Marina in 2018. I'm so glad we found his practice because not only do love Dr. Carl, we LOVE his staff. Everyone is so friendly and professional. We actually look forward to going to the dentist! A few years ago, our son was attending UC Santa Barbara. He was riding his bike to school to clean out his lab before the Thanksgiving break when he was struck by a car (hit and run!). In addition to some scrapes and bruises, three of his front teeth were broken. Our son did not want to walk around with broken front teeth so he called Dr. Carl's office right away to see if he could get in ASAP. It was 2 days before Thanksgiving and Dr. Carl was leaving early for the holiday. Dr. Carl's office said if he could get to the office before 2pm, he could work on him. Our son did his best to get there on time, but he ended up arriving at 3PM. Dr. Carl waited until he got there and fixed his teeth that day! We were so grateful. read more

The front desk with Morgan and Lori always so welcoming, polite and helpful. Dr. Carl's hygienist (?) Nikki used their new intramural scanner to make digital impressions for a new full arch, hybrid, night guard. Impressed with the new equipment. So much more comfortable, easier, more accurate and quicker than the old, clunky trays with the sticky goo in them! D. Carl came in to check on everything. Such a nice man and a good dentist. Highly recommend his office. read more

From the moment I was invited in, to the moment I left, I felt as if I were at a friend's house. My mobility is not so good these days and Jessica was an angel in helping me get seated in a comfortable position. The treatment was excellent and I nearly nodded off. The best dentist, and the best dental assistants in the area. I grew up with English dentistry, so I know what I'm talking about!

Dr. Carl is still the BEST of the best. I know because I went elsewhere for veneers. Dr. Carl took time out of his busy schedule to straighten out the unevenness on my 2 front veneers from several years back left behind by a previous dentist. I won't mention his name but he had evidently done something negligent to his other patients. Thanks A Million Dr. Carl! read more

My favorite hygienist at Dr. Carl's office cleaned my teeth recently. Heather is very experienced in her field and will communicate about teeth and gum changes she sees during cleanings. Her cleanings are very noticeable, as are the smoothness and lightness of how my teeth feel when I leave the office. Dr. Carl's office staff is always professional and helpful with waitlists, scheduling, and accounting. read more

I am a wartime vet with issues in the dental chair. Despite my issues, I left Dr. Carl's office feeling well cared for, healthier, and inspired to let go of my issues :) Excellence clearly is the objective for every team member in this office and I'm so grateful and humbled by the experience and treatment I received with every point of contact. If they can't take you right away, it's worth the wait and in my case it's worth the drive from San Francisco!! read more

What could be better than going to a dentist with a seemingly perfectly organized and run, office and staff. It surely helps to keep me confident and happy while reclined in the chair with all sorts of power tools running in my mouth. This is an office that always appears to have the latest in technology. Every staff member is more charming than the next. Did I mention my cleaning... Also a wonderful experience! My next visit can not come too soon! If I could I would thank each member of the staff. There is a reason I have driven from LOS ANGELES to Carmel (for over 30 years!) to have my teeth cleaned and dental needs addressed in Dr. Carl's office. The entire office has a friendly professional, and family atmosphere. I LOVE all his 'girls' (such amazing, kind, and personable women) and the doctor himself is a joy! My dad was a dentist and I am a vascular surgeon so I am pretty critical of the medical/dental professions. With that as background I can only say that Dr. Carl's office is the best I have ever seen. Dr. Carl himself is knowledgeable, technically skilled, current on treatment modalities, and thorough in his approach to your dental needs. In addition, his staff is efficient, pleasant, and happy to be there. Anything I have done there has also been pain free, so I can genuinely say it is a pleasure to go to the dentist. A+++ Bruce G.
