The residents do not get activities, my mother often calls and complains of not having anyone there to do activities. My mother has complained multiple times that her pager will go off for hours at a time during the night hours. My mother has also called me crying due to staff being rude and yelling at her for things that were no longer in her control due to age. It is very upsetting how this facility treats it's residents. I will never recommend this to anyone looking for an assisted living.

I have this ptsd from when my grandmother was in a facility and was pleased to see that it really felt like an apartment building. I loved to see that just because it is assisted living it wasn't taking away from residents still living their lives and having a nice apartment to feel like home. In fact, I loved that there wasn't a ton of staff around because I think that's why the vibe was so much more like a regular apartment. Knowing that she may live like she's independent but has an alert and someone is right there when she needs someone is a relief as well. Her room smelled like urine every trip I made, her room was hardly cleaned and when we moved her it certainly appeared they had never cleaned under her bed or other areas. That's just one of several issues... Staff did not adequately respond to facility alarms which enabled my mother to elope from the facility twice without staff knowledge. The police had to be called to find her. Terrible Terrible place. Do not leave your loved ones in their care.
