Better than our UW hospital experience by a long shot! I heard they changed ownership in past couple of years. Anyway, the Nurse Practitioner, nurses and CNAs have all been wonderful and caring. It's a little bit outdated inside but it's very clean and the care is wonderful, so who cares? In addition, they cook their food from scratch (recipes apparently come from corporate) and my Mom loves the food. They also did very well on their last state audit. One even sat with my mom when she could sense my mom was feeling very down. The HUC on the rehab floor is Fi and she is amazing. She has everything scheduled for you before you know you need it and has transportation to and from appointments as well. All of the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. If a loved one needs rehab and Congregational Home is a choice you have, choose it.

It was so bad. They really care about their patients here if I ever have to be at a place which I hope I never ever ever have to come again I would come here.

My mother has also called me crying due to staff being rude and yelling at her for things that were no longer in her control due to age. It is very upsetting how this facility treats it's residents. Everyone from the custodians to the big wigs have been extremely motivating and positive and you can tell they genuinely care about you and want to see you recover. We quickly googled online and decided to drive 25 min to come here rather another place 5-10 min closer, and that was a smart move. The urgent care/ ED here was great and super efficient, went through triage, got brought into treatment room, had vitals and brief history taken all done under 20 min or less. We were seen by Dr Biederman who was just efficient, wound cleaned and stapled and we were on our way, whole visit was about an hour, in contrast to Minneapolis children's where we were in lobby waiting for two hours, not seen till I wanted to leave. Other than their harder to find entrance, I would highly recommend this place if you have urgent need like ours.

They decide one Monday not to staff late and they give no heads up as to this fact when I told them I would specifically be in late that Monday.
