Last month I reached out to these folks to give me a estimate on spraying on a "Austin Stone" look…read moreto three areas of the house. A wainscoting in the dining room, a accent wall in the master bedroom and a total transformation of the look around our sealed propane fired fireplace. Taking it from a 20 year old look (large beige ceramic tiles) to the Austin Stone and a flat limestone appearance on the floor level hearth. Estimate was reasonable and we scheduled it for a few weeks later. When they arrived to do the work and began to prepare the house for the work, I had concerns. Not that they were doing a bad job - rather that they sealed off and protected stuff more than 10ft from the surface they were working on. So .. I thought - wow - I sure hope they can control the process better than that. Well they did control it well and they were just being cautious of my house/belongings. I fully appreciated it when they finished the process and they were out of there quickly. They spent one day prepping and came the next day to spray and carve. Amazing process and GREAT folks. I am very impressed, as is EVERYONE I show the before and after photographs to. For a reasonable cost, they likely added back to the resale of the house 2x or 3x the cost. Of course, since I never plan to move ... that doesn't matter to much to me. But the house looks GREAT. These guys rock. Alfredo is the estimator and works with the crew as well (as needed I'm sure), he is very personable and he "talked the talk and walked the walk". Would recommend these folks to anyone.

When it comes to ProCal Stone, our best advice is: BUYER BEWARE. In September 2018, we contracted…read morewith ProCal Stone to install a limestone overlay on our brick fireplace. Alfredo, one of the owners, did a great job selling the solution and due to a cancellation by another customer offered us a discounted price to do the work. Alfredo is very good at what he does both as a salesman and as a contractor. Unfortunately, what became painfully obvious to us throughout our dealings with ProCal Stone was that unless Alfredo was personally involved, the work was not done properly. What also became apparent was that since we were a relatively small customer (~$2,500), Alfredo could not be bothered with us once we got past the initial installation. Their "warranty service" was a joke. I've never before had a vendor ask me to "pay my guys a little something" on warranty work to correct things that their company did incorrectly! The fireplace initially looked pretty good but there were some issues with the color, which were ultimately corrected after about three visits and with the sealer, which to this day has not been adequately addressed. In fact, ProCal's last attempt to address the sealant (June 2019) was a total failure. Not only did they seal the fireplace to the point where months later, it's still sticky to the touch. They damaged our walls (used the wrong type of tape that pulled paint off the walls) and our flooring (overspray from the color was left on our floors around the base of the fireplace). The worst part was that they left the house in that condition and refused to come back out to address it. In fact, Alfredo (and his manager Irma) refused to return numerous phone calls we made to try to get them to come back out to fix the damage they caused. After speaking to irma on Friday afternoon, June 28, she committed to call me back on Monday with a resolution and I'm still waiting to hear back from anyone at ProCal. (And I have the phone records to prove it.) We suspect that part of this refusal to engage was designed to let the 1 year warranty expire so that they could get paid for any additional work. We went ahead and addressed the paint and flooring damage ourselves. The limestone itself has not proven to be a good solution. It does not wear well (chips and crumbles easily) and the sticky sealant is a nuisance. We will eventually have to find another solution for our fireplace. We wish we had never heard of ProCal Stone and would strongly urge anyone considering them for an interior residential solution to BEWARE. #Untrustworthy #MoneyGrab #VeryUnprofessional

Even though they only had a couple of reviews, I liked what I read from the other folks and what I saw in the photo gallery of their work. Bottom line, A1 Eagle Eye Pro Contractor is fantastic to work with, and I've already got another job lined up for them, and will be having them do several other things next year. I definitely recommend them if you want high-quality results! I was beyond impressed with every aspect of a large job that entailed the following: - Removing the old (thin) wood siding panels and trim over three large areas on two sides of the house. - Removing the old worn and warped wood chimney surround and dormers. - Replacing/rebuilding all of the above with Hardie Board cement siding and trim. - Exterior painting. Communications with Bob were always timely and professional with the estimate and invoices for each payment provided via email. The estimate in particular was great: each aspect of the work was detailed in a section of its own, priced separately, so it was obvious what you were being charged for. And the guys who do the work are top notch. They showed up on time every single scheduled day, worked hard for the entire day (weather permitting), and took such care and pride in their work with obvious attention to detail that this nearly thirty-year-old house now looks better than it did when it was new! You know how little touches make a big difference, even if they require a bit of extra effort? Well, Bob and his crew understand this completely. Just one example: the original dormer shutters they took down turned out to be just too tired-looking, old and brittle to be put back up on the beautifully rebuilt dormers (though I don't doubt another company might have done so, since the estimate stated they would be reused), but Bob ordered new ones to replace them, and chose a style with just a bit of decorative detail. Compared with the plain originals, this little extra something makes a huge difference. If you want better-than-imagined results, you want A1 Eagle Eye to do your next project!

Another fantastic project with the Wreedone team…read more This time, we hired them to replace the flooring throughout the majority of our house, tearing out older tile and hardwood that had suffered from previous water-cupping damage. I had manually measured close to 1,700 square feet, but Wil and Spencer utilized a mobile tech scanning tool to map both the floors and walls (for a future paint project) in a matter of minutes. It immediately validated my manual measurements and gave us complete confidence in the project's scope. We chose to vacate the house during the heavy demo and installation. Scheduling-wise, Wreedone was exceptionally punctual, hitting every milestone exactly when they said they would. They carefully moved and secured our heavy furniture, treated our property with immense respect, and ensured everything was locked up tight at the end of each workday. I had the chance to meet the tile installer, Daniel, and his crew. Daniel is a true craftsman--he noticed minor pattern differences in the tiles and expertly blended them so the installation looks perfectly seamless throughout the house. A true professional! Spencer also brought some great problem-solving to the baseboards. Because the new floors sat a bit lower, reusing the old baseboards would have left a noticeable paint gap along the walls. Factoring in the labor to patch and paint that gap, it was actually more cost-effective to install brand-new baseboards, which ended up looking even better than the originals. Given the massive amount of demolition dust, the top-to-bottom post-construction cleaning was incredible. Walls, floors, countertops, ceiling fan blades--everything was spotless! I am also incredibly grateful to Justin and Chase for the daily updates and progress photos, as well as their care in quickly moving the large furniture back into place post-cleanup. Wreedone's methodology isn't just about executing a single task; they deliver a complete, holistic package. They managed every aspect of this project to deliver a high-quality result that gave my wife and me exactly what we wanted while protecting our overall investment. Well done!

His estimate was based mostly on labor and basic materials (he brought paint brushes, buckets and coverings). I supplied the paint and tape. When he left the paint was drying so the tape was still up. We had to take tape down ourselves the next day, but not a big deal. Most importantly, he was gracious and kind throughout--even when we had to do some last minute cleaning up on high recesses. Given his rates and quality of work, he definitely earned the 5 stars. Ultimately, we decided together that the ceiling and the walls should all be repainted. Arrangements were made for Wilfredo and his team to come by around 6 the following evening to get started. When they were an hour late, I wasn't surprised. I know how traffic in DFW can be and I was eager to have their professional help. Upon arriving at my home, Wilfredo nor his team, who trickled in little by little over the next few hours, wore masks without our asking. Wilfredo gave me a laundry list of items his team would need to begin work, which I was to leave to get for him. He announced that he would go home and take a shower then return to begin the project. He returned and one of his team members blue-taped and put plastic over all my cabinets and paper over the floors in preparation for the repairs and painting that was to begin the next morning. The next day, I waited for a team member to arrive. When it got close to lunch time, I spoke with Wilfredo who told me that his team member wouldn't be able to come until that evening. Once he did arrive, he set to work repairing cracks and did a nice job only he didn't visit every room and repair every crack. He told me that he was leaving for dinner and would return but he did not come back. The following day, someone was to come and paint and I planned to ask for the forgotten cracks to be repaired. I was, again, told how the arranged team member wouldn't be by at the agreed upon time. We settled on the next day. By this point, I've had plastic and paper all over the place but I'm trying to be patient. The following day, Wilfredo again needed to cancel on the painting and my spouse and I decided that it was time to cut ties with this company and just finish the rest ourselves. When I told Wilfredo that we would not need any additional visits, he told me to "ask my husband for the final word" which truly pissed me off. I am the one who was making all the arrangements from start to finish with this company. For him to insinuate that I needed a man's permission to call off services was unprofessional and ignorant. He called and texted several more times to get me to reconsider. I'd have painted the entire interior of my home with a q-tip before I let him back through my doorway. Unprepared. Unprofessional. Unreliable.
