It is a quaint and small coffee shop. The service was nice and took the time to answer questions. I ordered all the stuffed dates they had that day and all are pretty solid. They are on the pricier end but I never had a stuffed date before and I truly enjoyed it. It was my way of being "fake healthy" :P. I would probably revisit again for more stuffed dates and to try a drink. Quick tip: if they run out of complementary dates and busy, they will not replenish so you will miss out on the freebie. They told me they will replenish it later in the day when there is down time so it is kind of first come first serve so get there early! They did tell me all the stuffed dates are made fresh daily.

At its center, it was impossibly fresh, feather-light, beautifully buttery, and so tender that it seemed to melt away with each bite. Passing by and seeing the overjoyed faces of customers, I saw it was the coffee drawing attention in this corner. Did skip my morning caffeine ritual and decided to give this place a go. Iced coffee with whole milk and a good surge of sweetness always does it for me. A safe choice to order. The barista making my coffee was very nice and informative. Sported a uniform with The Peddler logo on it to market the fun business. To my surprise, my iced coffee was $3. I kid you not. Don't remember the last time I had inexpensive coffee in this city since the early 2000s. Yup it's been that long. A good ratio of bitter, roastiness, milk froth and sweetness. Quite enjoyable. I like my coffee black, but yelp keeps talking about this crazy flat white nonsense. So I caved to peer pressure and got it. It is creamy easy to drink. There is no bitterness and no acidic aftertaste. And it's $3.50 for a really good flat white. I think it's worth it and glad I finally found the cart!
