I was genuinely looking forward to visiting this coffee shop. The photos online make it look warm, cozy, and inviting, so I was excited to stop in, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and have a pleasant experience.
We actually traveled all the way from California and were really looking forward to visiting this place. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different from what we expected. While we were trying to explain to the barista what type of drink we wanted, she rolled her eyes at us. Her attitude and body language immediately made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I understand that everyone has busy days, but there is no reason to make customers feel like they are bothering you simply because they are asking questions or trying to explain what they would like to order.
When you travel a long way and choose to spend your hard-earned money at a business, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect basic courtesy and respect. It was especially disappointing because we had been excited to visit based on the welcoming atmosphere shown in the pictures online.
The place may look beautiful and cozy, but customer service matters just as much. Unfortunately, the way we were treated left a very bad impression, and we won't be returning. read more
