That's the amount of soup that I found in the bowl when I got back to the hotel. It was less than half full.

I walked across the street to this place from my hotel. I ordered some soup and a dessert to go. Before I left, I asked the server if there were utensils in the taped up bag for the soup and dessert. She said yes, "everything was in the bag". Got back to the hotel to find that there was no utensils for the soup, and the cardboard soup bowl was less than half full. I called and spoke to the manager who gave me excuse after excuse. in doing this review, I noticed, and was not surprised, by the two star rating that it had. After talking to the manager, it is clear why this place needs a lot of work.

I got a BoozeFree strawberry lemonade and my boyfriend got beer.

Service was okay the waiter got our orders right and checked on us. Ambiance was okay family friendly vibe I went for date night but it was nothing spectacular. The FOOD now we had cheesy pull apart bread it tasted good, I got Mac & cheese with spicy chicken, my boyfriend got 10oz steak and fries, and lastly we got chocolate cake for dessert. I have NO IDEA which item did it for me but I had the runs (my boyfriend said his stomach hurt too) we took a 10min walk down the road once we paid & within reaching our destination I had to go to the toilet urgently but we don't live in the area so we took an Uber home & I had to leave my baby & boyfriend in the car to run to the toilet I attached a few photos of the food and drinks I forgot to take a pic of the cake.

I know I know it's a common restaurant. But this one was different! The service was great from start to finish. The hostess was extremely nice and quick to check our vaccination info. From there the table was clean and from the looks of the surroundings, well cleaned. Our server was amazing! Quick to greet us and bring our food and checked in often. My husband ordered the brisket burger which looked really good. Selfishly, I refused to share my baked Antojitos. I mean they were so good I ordered a 2nd order of them (in all fairness it is an appetizer). This location was really on their game and I would definitely go again.

    Chicken Fajita Dinner

Stopped by for dinner at this Montanas yesterday evening, I would give this Montanas a 3 star. Due to covid they have tents set up outdoor. I cannot speak for inside the restaurant since I was dining outdoor. That evening Montanas wasn't that busy, there were only 2 family's seated outdoor and both familys were already eating there meals. I assumed service would be fast. It took about 10min for the asian waitress to notice I'm seated there, infact I had to wave her down to catch her attention or she would have ran inside. She asked for 2? When clearly there are 2 of us seating here...I replied, yes thank you. She comes out with the menus but I was just so hungry at this point I told her I already know what I want to order. - Chicken fajita dinner - 2piece fish & chips dinner - 2 bigmama, a beer & coke 1 bigmama and the beer came to the table first (10min later) 30min more go by and at this point we are asking each other why is the food taking so long? How long have we been waiting? About 45min total wait and just the fish and chips dinner and the chicken fajita came out... where's the toppings for the chicken fajita and the pitas that comes with? also the rest of the drinks? She says it's on the way 10min passes and it's finally here at this point the main dinner is cold because we had to wait for the remainder of the food to get to the table. Totally inconsiderate knowing we are outdoor it's the evening temperature drops, its really common sense. Why bother bringing part of our meal out? Future note: bring the entire meal out at once and if you are unable to bring the entire meal how about start bringing out the cold stuff first..like the toppings, the drinks, the bread. Anyhow! Fish and chips dinner barely got touched, it was mostly bread batter...where was the FISH! Horrible batter taste and the oil it's been fried in NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. Not pleased, I wouldnt recommend. Avoid ordering the fish and chips. Chicken fajita, tasty no complaints other then the actually "chicken fajita" being cold due to waiting for the toppings and pitas bread. Asian waitress: friendly but just slow in service and it was clear the fish and chips wasn't touched... you should have asked; how was the food? The bigmama drinks, the first one was good but the second one it was very evident it was mostly juice. Overall 3 star worthy. It's okay...it's not the best but okay.

Was in Toronto for work and decided to give place a try. What a mistake . Wish I could back in time and change where I went to eat. Pros Easy to find and lots of free parking That's about it for the pros Cons It should of been a sign when the restaurant was semi full. Took about 15 minutes of waiting to get a waiter to take our order. We had to ask three times for our drinks to come out. We got our food order before our appetizers Food All our food came our stone cold Steak was asked for rare but came out well done and stone cold. We asked it to be remade and the second one came back even more well done. Bake potatoes were so well done you could of used It as a papEr weight. Roast beef was so cold it was a joke. They gave me a new one tHat was colder than the first one. The salad that come with it was ok and only thing I could eat My friend order the burger and fries that came out cold as well. The new one they sent out was semi warm. We asked the waiter what was going on he said because they are busy. I turned to my friend busy. Nobody is here . Lolol We left and know we all feel super sick and drinking ginger ale . Please go there with caution

Just ok. Good potential, but the place is self defeating. Outside: wasn't sure if the restaurant is even open. The landscaping looks like doo doo. Weeds and trash everywhere. The back area near the dumpster looks like hell. Lotsa boxes and trash. Management: the place looks neglected. Made me wonder what the inside and kitchen looked like. Get back to basics. Food: ok. Had the lunch special. It was delivered quick. Tasted ok. Server: nice enough. Two stars.

Awful!!!1 slow slow SLOW!!! I don't even want spend the time explaining how bad this place is, avoid at all cost!! The worst service, food over over cooked, dry, and arrived to the table cold. I had the ribs (dry, over cooked, cold when it arrived at the table), I paid for an extra $6 for the brisket side and it too arrived dry, overcooked and cold.. it was more like brisket jerky! I could go on but I think I've made my point.

Amazing service!!! Bessie was the best! She took care of us in the best way possible.

When spending almost $600 for a meal for two, all factors must check off. This establishment is located in a nondescript building near the airport. The interior is modern and clean but lacks charm and pizzazz. After having a bit of water before food arrived, we were brought an additional $9 bottle of water without being asked if we wanted one. We normally don't drink water with our meals especially when we order a $120 to $140 bottle of wine. This is my only complaint. Waiters should not assume! The tuna was probably the best of all items we ordered. It was divine! The steaks were very tender, moist, and piping hot - must be the 500F plate they serve it on. The potatoes gratin and mushrooms were way above average. Excellently prepared. There is limited parking and if you park at The Holiday Inn it can be a long walk to the front doors. All in all, it was an enjoyable evening with the most delicious food!

I have only ever ordered a prime rib here and I wasn't about to switch up on them now. I was SO happy they got rid of those wasabi mashed potatoes cuz what? Those were gross. They do a regular Yukon gold mash now and it's perfect. My prime rib was medium, just as I asked for and was juicy and tender. Super comparable to the Keg, but the Keg prime rib issss still my favourite lol. I appreciate the assortment of veggies the meal came with as well. it was so much food, I had to take half home. There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Blackened Lamb Chops (weekly special). 7. New Orleans Fisherman's Plate ($39.95). 8. Pecan Pie warmed with Ice Cream ($14.95). 9. Bananas Foster ($14.95). 10. Beignet ($14.95). Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

The owner also mentioned that they'll be moving soon to a larger location near the Etobicoke lake area, which sounds exciting. With a better location and more space, the atmosphere should be even better, and I think the restaurant will do really well.
