This is one of the 5 GTA locations by Dixie and Matheson. Food (4/5) - very large selection of beef, veggie and chicken burgers, and steak sandwiches. Large portion/topping style like The Works and Fat Fork. - Liberator Burger - Prime beef patty, Canadian cheddar cheese, crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and rosemary garlic aïoli and Gladiator aïoli. It was pretty good...beef was cooked well, soft fresh bun and overall good taste. - Cheese Fries - were pretty average - fries just ok and bit of a cheese whiz topping. - Onion Rings - also pretty average - bit too much batter Service (4/5) - got my order fairly quickly and server greets you as you walk in. Their takeout bags are kinda garbage though... specifically the handle which can easily break if you have a few items in there. Atmosphere (4/5) - [[HIGHLIGHT]]overall pretty clean and bright with ample seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall (4/5) - I would repeat to try out some of the other burger options.

Kind of expensive. The cheese sauce was not good on the fries and Mac n cheese.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant was also super cold.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

HOW could I count the ways on how much I love their burgers? Via Uber Eats, ordered Veggie Burger combo (Beyond the Meat) burgers plus The Arena (breaded chicken strips). They were very generous with their fabulously unique mix of toppings. Gloriously messy & totally worth the extra effort to eat, the toppings were stacked, burger was well grilled & sandwiched between a toasted bun! It included a generous portion of crispy fries (+ a drink, but I always choose a bottle of water). The Arena consisted of good quality chicken meat with thankfully not too much breading / coating plus a generous portion of great crispy fries again. Will DEFINITELY be back ~ can't recommend enough! Ordered takeout so was worried about things being soggy but everything was packed well and stayed fresh & hot all the way home. Got the burger with the fried mozzarella slice, avocado, and salsa and it was great. The cheese offered a nice crispy element to the sandwich while the salsa provided a pleasant level of heat to balance out the creamy avocado (I would have preferred sliced avocado to help keep the bun from getting soggy but it was still good). The poutine fries were really good and I also ordered the cheese fries with bacon. They were tasty but the large chunks of bacon could have been cut a little smaller to help not overwhelm a bite with fries. Overall, great burgers and great fries!

Excellent burgers!!! The burgers are quite different (in a good way) than most of the burger places. The menu offers wide verity of amazing burgers. We had the Cesar and the General Maximus. Delicious and amazing. Service is great with nice smiles. Good ambiance, spacious and clean.

The food is as good as it's pictures but I didn't receive what I ordered. I ordered the Warrior combo special which is advertised at $24.95 CA before delivery, tax and tip. Based on the photo I was on the impression it would be to Pops to burgers and an order of fries which means you're saving $ by bundling the items and having one fry to share. Well to my surprise, the special is a burger fries and a pop which retails à la cart at $17.85CA before delivery, tax and tip. Would I order again? Yes! But I'd never buy the Warrior combo since it's not as depicted and is more expensive than buying each item as a standalone.

This is a large establishment with ample amount of seating available. In terms of décor/ ambiance, there isn't much besides murals on the wall. It almost gives a school cafeteria type ambiance. I was so excited to try this after reading all these positive reviews. I was craving this all day so imagine my surprise when i took the first bite, I wasn't disappointed but I was also not blown away. I ended up trying the My lady burger. It was a large burger with a lot of different flavors which did not collectively work all too well together. I also was not expecting pieces of chewy fat on the chicken breast, the texture through me off. I might have to try something else next time, the chicken was ok The poutine was good!

I asked a good friend of mine where he wanted to eat for his birthday this year, and he chose this place. I had eaten here before, but it never crossed my mind to make it a special occasion place. This place is known for their topping-laden or multiple-patty burgers that barely fit in your mouth, end up usually on your wrapper and make quite a mess. But those problems go away once that first bite is taken, as they are delicious. I ordered the Liberator burger, which was a beef patty graced with cheddar cheese, a crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with two cheeses, lettuce, pickles and tomato and two types of aïoli (one being the Gladiator house kind). My birthday companion got epic in his order, picking the General Maximus, a three-patty-and-cheese concoction in between two grilled cheese buns, caramelized onions, lettuce, pickles and tomato and the house aïoli. We arrived about 90 minutes to close, and given the composition of these burgers, I thought we'd be pressed for time. However, the order came through a lot faster than I anticipated, and it gave us time to enjoy our unwieldy handhelds. The place was clean, climate controlled and very spacious, with plenty of tables for eating in (which was necessary, because after eating these behemoth burgers, it was hard to get up!) Needless to say, we truly ate like conquering heroes that night!

Gladiator Burger is one of the few places I can say their burger comes out like their promo pictures. If you're craving a juicy burger or cheesesteak, this place is quite epic. By the way, all their food is Halal-friendly. Think juicy, messy ooey gooey goodness. You're not here to count calories. You're here to indulge in your most gluttonous desires. They fully delivered! I tried both the Liberator burger and the Fearless Knight cheesesteak and I like the cheesesteak slightly more. The unique thing about the Liberator burger is the crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese for that perfect cheese pull. Next time I'm in the area, I might get more veg like the Survivor Burger with roasted peppers, so there's more balance in the rich food, but it's really just personal preference. Who comes here for veggies anyways? The home fries are decent, nothing to write home about. The indoor space is modern and spacious, with ample seating. If you prefer to sit outdoors, there's a shaded canopy with a few tables, nothing fancy.

My second time coming here and again was amazed, the food quality and quality for your buck is unmatched in the toronto area. It is so good and the service is very good as well. We got our food within 10 minutes and it's so reasonably priced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is awesome and gets you hype to eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall very good place to get some good messy food.

I've been to this location twice now. Flavors are there! And service is friendly and quick. The first time I went my food wasn't that hot but the second time it was hot and fresh and In waited less than 5 min for my food. I got the $9.99 special twice first time I got the burger and the second time I got the chicken burger this is my first time trying the chicken burger from any gladiator chain and I love it I wish that I had tried it previously the chicken is definitely worth it and in my opinion it's a better value because the portion is so much bigger than the burger.

Just loooooook at it The warrior burger.

I bought @gladiatorburger tonight and BOYYYYYYY lemme tell you!!! I have no complaints. The driest tasted like fresh cut potatoes, and the two burgers I tried were equally awesome. Kay maybe not equally, The flavour was amazing.... Those sauces. I loved the beef one but I'm a sucker for a spicy chicken sandy and this was Amazingggggggggg!!!! Hands down !! I'm totally bias but the chicken was bussssssssin'. I'm definitely gonna be trying every single burger they have...... & That's a lot. The flavour was A1 For more food reviews, videos/pictures and lots of cool stuff, check me out on instagram or TikTok @arieshubgrie

The service is not very attentive, we were seated and told to use the qr code for the menu. We picked our items and not one waiter decide to come back to take our order. We had to flag down a waiter, to give in our order. When the food arrive, they weren't even sure if it was for our table, the staff never came back to check if everything was okay. We had to also flag them down to get take out boxes, and again for the bill. The food: the appetizer, we ordered the calamari it had good flavours and were crispy. Slighly more oily but still delicious. The jerk chicken had good flavours and was very tender. The veggie upgrade is NOT worth it and extra $3 for 5 carrots and 3 broccolis. The rib eye steak was okay, the cut is not the best. The hot stone makes the table very hot, the plate holding it was cracked and hazardous imo. Fries in general were tasty and the 3 different sauces were good. In general this place needs to step it up a little, atleast with service since it's the easiest thing to change. The decor can come after..

We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

The prices listed below reflect the regular menu, though portions at the event were likely smaller than standard service. The evening began with a beef skewer ($31), featuring cubes of barbecued beef glazed in teriyaki and topped with plenty of chives. Unfortunately, consistency was an issue. Other guests raved about how tender theirs were, while mine arrived overcooked. It wasn't inedible, but it certainly wasn't tender. One of the restaurant's newer additions is its aged fish program, so I was eager to try the dry-aged salmon ($33). Listed as a "crudo," I expected delicate slices in a citrusy sauce, but it arrived as another skewer. The texture was undeniably smooth, with the dry aging removing any chewiness, but the salmon also developed a gaminess that lingered unpleasantly. A marinade or thinner slicing might help balance things out. I'm glad their signature Caesar salad ($24) remains excellent. It's beautifully balanced with acidity, savouriness, and thoughtful touches like buttery breadcrumbs and bacon bits that aren't rock hard. It's still one of the better Caesars in the city, though tableside preparation now costs an additional $10. Fans of tartare will likely appreciate the beef tartare ($41), which is prepared traditionally with minimally dressed hand-cut beef. Personally, I wanted more contrast in texture or flavour, though tartare has never been my go-to dish. I did appreciate the accompaniments of buttery crostini and gem lettuce leaves, which offered a lighter way to enjoy it. And for fans like me, don't worry their cheese bread puffs still make an appearance (along with their take home chocolate muffins). What continues to shine at Jacobs is the steak itself. The 40-day dry aged striploin was cooked beautifully, developing a crust that locked in the juices while maintaining tenderness despite being a leaner cut. The seasoning is more restrained, which allowed the volcanic sea salt and chimichurri on the side to actually enhance the beef rather than overwhelm it. The pecorino broccolini ($22) had me almost finishing off the plate and is such a nice accompaniment with the rich beef. The only disappointment was the duck fat fries ($21), which arrived lukewarm and slightly stale, likely a casualty of serving a packed dining room. Dessert ended the evening on a high note. The crème brulee ($21) was fantastic with visible vanilla bean specks throughout the silky custard. The sugar topping was thin and delicate, avoiding that overly sweet crunch some versions suffer from. Served alongside a sizeable chocolate biscotti and a fragrant orange shortbread cookie, it's easily large enough to share. With the expanded dining room, the front-of-house team has clearly grown as well. The staff is younger and fresher-faced, so any old-school steakhouse stuffiness has largely disappeared. More importantly, the service remains polished and attentive, and we were well taken care of throughout the evening.
