Amazing experience!…read more We saw a concert last night at Arlington Music Hall. This was our first time here. TICKETING We found the concerts we wanted to see on the Arlington Music Hall's website. Then we initiated our purchases online through their ticketing agent - Eventbrite. We got a confirmation via email from Eventbrite. TICKET SAVING We downloaded the Eventbrite app and were able to download our tickets into our Apple Wallets on our iPhones. Perfect! PARKING There is free street parking in front of and around the corner from the venue. There is a lot and ramps within a block or two that are also free. Winning! DOORs vs SHOW Our show start time was 8pm. Doors for this show opened at 6:00. We were not able to go into the theater portion of the facility until 7:30. We arrived around 7:00. LOBBY, BAR, SNACK BAR There were staff members in the lobby scanning tickets for entry and that went fast. You may stand in the lobby area to wait for the theater doors to open, but the space there is limited. Behind the lobby is the Bar and Snack Bar area. There are a number of small, round high-top tables to stand at and there are cushioned bench seats along two long walls to sit on. The Bar also has some tall chairs for customer use. We didn't buy any cocktails, so no idea on the cost but I've read that its reasonable. The Snack Bar has water, beer, soft drinks, candy, popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, bbq sandwiches and such. And the pricing is very reasonable vs any other live music venue I've been too. RESTROOMS The restrooms are located near the bar/snack bar. I found the men's room to be clean, have a number or urinals and stalls. Very functional. THEATER GENERAL The Theater has two entry doors, so two long aisles from back to front. The sound and light boards are located between the aisles at the back of the theater (between the entry doors). About 2/3 the way towards the stage, there is an aisle going across the theater connecting the two long aisles. There is a balcony. Unsure if/when it is used, how many seats it has or how to access it. STAGE The stage is quite large in width and depth. It has a very high ceiling which likely easily accommodates tall backdrop set pieces and curtains. SOUND I saw short linear array speakers hanging from the ceiling in front of the stage. There may have been some subwoofer modules on stage behind curtains - unsure. The sound was quite adequate for this space. Note too that the walls seems to be concrete or stucco, so pretty reflective of sound. The sound team seemed to do a great job of managing levels and EQs. LIGHTING There are various uplighting on stage, downlighting above stage, lighting at the ceiling maybe 40 feet out from stage plus spot lights, likely up near the balcony. Lighting was well done and that team was responsive to the entertainers needs as he called out from stage a couple of times. SEATING / AISLE DEPTH Wow the seating was really comfortable. Cushy and wide and with cup holders in each of the arm rests. The aisle depth at your feet was enough that people could pass by you without the need for you to stand or leave your row. CONCLUSION We been to a lot of theaters around the country. This one is quite comfortable. More so that many we've been too. We have two more shows booked to see here. We sat in the middle of a row and every time someone fitter in needed to get out/in the entire row to the aisle had to step out to accommodate them.

There was no scuffs on walls, the bathrooms were nice and clean, even people seemed to be respectful and not leave messes behind at their seats when they left. It isn't a huge arena so there really aren't bad seats. We enjoyed our time here and would return if ever in the Dallas or Fort Worth area again.

Entire house including the patio is set up for listening. I live on a working cattle ranch in Central Texas. I also get that there could be an international audience here. Go with the hits I suppose Yet, as a Texan NOBODY should ever play Neil Diamond at a Rodeo. Other Yelp peep mentioned Skid Row and arena gags. Gags are some comic relief. For our visit the some of the music was annoying but didn't overrun the master of ceremonies. I'd still go again next trip.

Set design, costumes, choreography, singing, music, acting were all top notch. Some of the things you should know before you go. 1) Parking can be a challenge because they don't have their own garage. There are several garages nearby (about a block walking distance), but you will want to arrive really early to make sure you have time to find a space, make your way to the theater, and find your seat before the show starts. We were coming from Richardson, so we knew we would need over an hour to travel there, but because of the parking situation, we left even earlier at 11:30 am for a 1:30pm show time start. 2) The building is quite modern. They have several entrances, but you may be asked to wait on the street in the elements before they open the doors and start scanning tickets. Be prepared to stand in the elements. 3) The seats are quite narrow and the arm rest is shared with your seat mate. If you are an average sized American, you might find the average seats quite uncomfortable. The person next to me was blubbering through her seat into mine. She was also very enthusiastic tapping along with the beat. Both things were unpleasant for me. There are box seats that have independent chairs. If I return to this venue, I will pay for one of these to avoid feeling like a sardine. They have an amazing line up of shows. I wish they were closer because I would definitely be a season ticket holder so that I could enjoy every single one of their amazing shows.

ICT Mainstage produces fairly consistently strong plays and musicals as the season unfolds. They spend a good bit of funds on sets, costumes, and props -- they actually have some of the best props in the city. Since ICT operates as the full community theatre, which means they do not pay their actors. That frees up some money for more visual infrastructure. Their season subscription is a good savings and will give you a good chance to get a flavor of the sort of talent that gets drawn to the company. If you like, keep attending. You'll enjoy. They often produce their shows at the Dupree theatre at the Irving Arts Center, which they use well.

Quirky and awesome! We came to see the performance of "Trainspotting" and couldn't have been more…read morepleased. When we first arrived in the parking lot, we were a little apprehensive because it is in the same strip mall with a Dollar General and the entire shopping center looks a bit run down. However, the performance more than made up for the location. We were greeted at the door by actors already in character and the entire venue was set up to feel like a bar/night club. They even had a small selection of water, soda, and beer and a bartender and a waitress. I loved the way the actors used the entire space, sometimes even behind us. I also liked the use of mixed media. I'm not sure if every performance is like this, but I am definitely interested to go to another show and see what they come up with.

The Campus is clean and peaceful. I enjoyed walking to the performance bc, the scenery is no nice. Even at night, I can still appreciate it. As you walk in, there seems to be photos of previous performances and information on upcoming plays. I really enjoyed looking at them. The box office was to the left. There was a very friendly associate working the ticket booth. Tickets were reasonably priced at $6.00. Student tickets were half price. Candy was available for purchase but, I wouldn't suggest it. I think, that would be distracting to the performers. The play was called Loose Pages. A really creative play! It was a Valentine's Play about young students expressing their views on love. The simple decor, stage lighting and intimate setting was very appealing. Bathrooms were really clean! I mean spotless! This is a very old campus. I was not expecting that. There's also more pictures in the hallway which creates a museum vibe. Looks like I found my new hotspot. The campus provided plenty of parking, a scenic view, museum like auditorium, great prices and so much more!

We rented a Nerf laser tag party w/ concierge for 16 kids. Our group was 35 kids but we had an…read moreunderstanding with the vendor they would simply have the kids be in teams and take turns. We had other passive games for the kids to play while they waited. Things that were great: 1. The online ordering process - great website and super easy to navigate. 2. How quick they would respond - I was very impressed at how quickly they replied to my emails! 3. Politeness of concierge - the hosts of our Nerf laser tag party were very respectful and took care of setup/teardown amazingly! Things that were disappointing: 1. Excellence of staff - when I was finalizing the order of the sale via email with the representative, I felt like they did not care about me as the customer. There was a promotion on their website to get a free upgrade I had to mention, even though they suggested a specific upgrade they would have charged me for that was a part of that promotion. Secondly, the concierge team very much felt like two college guys who did this for some extra cash who did not care how our time went. I had to step in as the game leader because they were incompetent at corralling the kids or explaining a game (and this was after a couple of haphazard "games" where I could tell our kids were confused). I kind of wish I didn't have a concierge so I would've been mentally prepared to lead the games instead, though them taking care of all setup/teardown logistics was SOOOO NICE. There was just a gap in excellence in this area. 2. Unexpected charges - their prices do not include taxes, delivery fees, or a "in case of damage fee," which made the price go up pretty significantly. If we did another laser tag party, I will probably look at my other options first.
