Delicious food that is fresh and not greasy. The spices are the right blend, and the service is very friendly. Will be back.

I had the…read moreGrilled Salmon and Shrimp over Spinach with Asparagus and my partner got the Chicken Marsala. Both entrees came with a cold, fresh side salad with a tangy Italian dressing. The entrees were very good. The salmon had a nice char, but was moist and flavorful. If you like salmon with a sauce, you'll be disappointed. I like mine simple, and this is a well-prepared salmon. The shrimp (3 large) were good. The spinach had a nice garlic flavor and the asparagus was well prepared - not mushy. The chicken Marsala also was good. The Marsala was light (not thick) and somewhat sweet. Very good. Honestly, the bread service was pretty disappointing. Our last visit the bread was fine, but this basket was pretty dried out and almost seemed stale. The oil accompanying the bread had almost no cheese in it. Essentially, you dipped tasteless bread into oil. Really disappointing. I'm not going to reduce my overall restaurant score for this one thing (because the entrees were very good), but the bread service was not good. The service was good.

The Wild Mushrooms with artichoke were just awesome and oh-so-plentiful, I do believe this one dish could've been a meal all in itself -- but not knowing that, I also got the Grilled Romaine because I'd never had such a thing before, and was interested in trying it. It was great! The Bowl Soup was delicious and comforting as soup is desired to be. Note on the soup: it doesn't have any pasta it in (or at least mine didn't), so if you're watching carbs or avoiding wheat, this is an excellent choice! It all came with some bread, too (that I ended up making a sandwich out of with some of the grilled romaine dish later). This was way more than one meal for me! All of it was delicious! ** Today, I fi-na-ly made it to Fontina Grille in person! It was a beautiful day to eat outside as long as there was some shade -- and so, the awning was put out just for us to lunch outdoors. There is a great selection on this menu and at lunch you can order either lunch or dinner portions. The lunch portions were certainly plentiful! The service was great, and everything was absolutely delicious! I especially enjoyed my side of zoodles. I was surprised and amazed at how well they were done -- they were so luxuriously long, it was really fun! They were also a beautiful bright green, cooked perfectly (not too hard, not too soft -- just right!), nice to twirl on a fork, and came with a really great, garlicky sauce. Mmm .... The salad greens were spectacular, the cheeses were mouth-melty, the bread at the beginning was superbly crisp on the outside and sturdy but soft enough, and chewy on the inside, the dipping olive oil with some grated cheese was excellent and helped tide me over 'til the antipasti of Wild Mushrooms came. I heard the Chilean Sea Bass in the Sea Bass Spring Salad was 'like butta,' it was so soft and easy to cut through and apparently very good. It came with salad greens, cutely-cut, skin-removed orange wedges, strawberry slices all neatly arranged around the edges, and a bit of delectably soft cheese. What can I say? Nothing was amiss! Parking was easy and couldn't be closer, with two designated accessible parking spots available right across the small street, and one not far around the corner. The ambiance outside (where we ate) was very nice. Everything was made easy. The (women's) bathroom is capacious, with a big, accessible stall and two others. The indoor dining area is very big with lots of tables. The best part of walking through the indoor area is catching a glimpse of the real fire, ready to bake! Overall, everything was totally enjoyable!

Unfortunately, the dinner Combo noted at the top of the menu as an add-on was not available so we didn't get to taste the wider variety of foods we had hoped. Not sure why that was not available. It doesn't appear to be a lunch only option by the text on the menu. We ordered the Minerva Lamb Special, and the Chattinad Salmon Curry initially. A bit later we added the Paneer Masala Dosa. The food did not disappoint! The lamb was tender and the sauce flavors were not overwhelming but the perfect complement. I normally don't consider salmon to be a good curry protein but this dish was delish! The salmon was not overcooked and it didn't disappear in the sauce. Three cheers for daughter's choice! The dosa was huge with a scoop of paneer curry in the middle. We enjoyed breaking off crisp pieces to dip in the accompanying chutnryb& sandu. We obviously had leftovers and were provided with the perfect containers, including condiment cups for the chutneys and dips, to transport our dinner home for son to enjoy. This place was a bit of a drive for us but I would consider a revisit if in the area again.

And I would say that even if I was not using coupon. We started with soups: mulligatawny and Sambar. Both were delicious. Then we shared an appetizer of Ginger Shrimp. The shrimp were lightly fried and coated with a delicious coating. Not "overly" gingered for me. The appetizer came with two sauces (one spicy and one sweeter) that were good, but I didn't think were needed because the shrimp were good on their own. For entrees, we got the Palak Paneer (mild) and Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spice). Again, both were delicious. The rice accompanying the entrees was well prepared. We ordered a Garlic Naan that was deliciously garlicky. The soups and appetizer mostly filled us up, so we took the entrees home and had them for lunch the next day. Everything microwaved well (including the rice) and the leftovers were outstanding. Service is overall good. So now I can recommend both for lunch buffet and for dinner.

The 1800 margarita. Ive gotta explain how to make a margarita. It's shaken, not stirred and salt the rim. I learned from last time. As soon as I day down I was ready to order. But no chips and salsa. Had to ask 3 times. No water. Had to ask twice. And honestly would've ordered dessert but the server never came around again. They still get 20% auto gratuity which is crazy. No way would I be tipping 20% for this service.

I didn't realize that was allowed where food was served. No one came over for the first 10 min. After we finally flagged someone down in the mostly empty bar we ordered two drinks. After repeating myself 3 times my frozen strawberry marg came out on the rocks. She brought over a new one. That's fine. No one ever came over to take a food order. That took 10 min to get anyone's attention. Our drinks were empty by the time food came out. We tried waving with both hands in the air to get anyone's attention.... Nothing. No one ever came back over the whole rest of our time there. We waited 20 min after we finished eating and still ignored. We almost walked out of the bill because we couldn't get anyone to take our card. We then found out that a 20% gratuity is added on to the check. We asked if we were suppose to be going up to the bar to order. She said no... I'm not too sure why it was impossible to get any service. The only time someone came over to our table was a total of 3 times after extensive measures of trying to be seen. I've never had worse service in my life at a place. We were there for 2 hours and each got a drink and entree.
