They have a sign that says "expert" tailoring but I'd say it's more like "good enough" tailoring because the patch work I got done was in fact good enough but certainly in no way an "expert" application. While I could have complained about it when I picked it up I'm ok with the good enough job since the shirt I'm using and the patch I needed applied would have been nice if it were placed with proper alignment but I'm ok with the way it was applied for my needs. If I'm ok with how it was applied why am I complaining? I'm not necessarily complaining but pointing out that this place doesn't have "expert" tailoring and I also didn't want to go without the shirt another week since I needed the shirt in the coming week. If my patch needed perfect accuracy for a job or something of a more serious nature I would have requested it be fixed. If you need expert tailoring I'd probably go elsewhere especially if you need patches applied to any article of clothing. Will I be back? Sure, for washing services only because if I need more patches applied I will most certainly be finding another tailor to do that work for me. This was my very first time doing business here and this review is my initial impressions and experience. Maybe next time a patch job will be perfect, sadly I won't allow a next time for patch work or any tailoring.

The jeans are still not what I asked for. I had to contact The store owner, Steven, who told me he would only give me a refund if I give him a 5 star review on Google and Yelp. I agreed. He gave me a check with a refund for the service and the jeans and he also kept the jeans. I deposited the check then he called the bank and put a stop payment on the check & revoked the funds. It was a two part patch where I asked specifically to place the two patches close to each other but not exactly touching and what I got was my patches over an inch apart, it looked totally stupid like a child patched it on. During my visit the tailor was measuring and marking up patches for a police officer so that the officer got the BEST patch job he could possibly get. I guess since I didn't walk in with a gun on my hip I got a mediocre patch job and I'll never bring shirts here for patches ever again. I ended up ripping half my patch off my sleeve because it just looked terrible the way it was applied. For the half I did not rip off, at least that was aligned fairly properly on my shirt sleeve. I paid for patches to be poorly placed and dry cleaning. Dry cleaning was done nicely, patches not so much. If you are a cop then this place will roll out the red carpet for you presumably because the owner likes to speed and wants favor with local cops to give him a pass when pulled over. If you aren't a cop then be prepared to be treated like a second class customer. Overall in my opinion your milage may vary with the services provided here. Maybe visit in a police officer costume and the tailor will give you his undivided attention. What I wanted wasn't that difficult and the patch was small.

I'm transitioning from having a fast-fashion closet to a smaller capsule wardrobe with timeless quality pieces. Unfortunately, I have an unusual body shape that off-the-rack clothing looks a little off - and I can't afford bespoke. So I'm shopping for high quality pieces that are more expensive but bringing them in for tailoring as I can afford to purchase them. She is honest and will tell you if something will or won't work. She's even told me that the quality/material/craftsmanship of something was so poor it wouldn't be worth my while to alter it. It was more cost effective for me to just buy it new. And she was right! She also did my wedding dress - and she made me feel like I was wearing the most elegant and timeless piece I've ever owned. (It was a Carolyn Bessett-Kennedy inspired sheath.) Parking is in the lot next door in the auto repair shop but it's a bear pulling out when traffic is bad.
