I've been looking for a good dry cleaners and I passed by Mill Pond Cleaners on my way to work and decided to give them a try. I needed 3 pea-coats to be dry cleaned so I brought them in. As soon as I walked in I noticed the facility is clean and the staff are attentive. A nice young women helped me right away and told me it would be ready in 2 days which was no problem because I wasn't in a rush. I stopped by two days later and my coats were ready! They looked great and smelt fresh! The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. Great experience and will definitely be back. read more

So back in May, at their Goshen location, I needed 2 suits cleaned and pressed within 3 days.....I was told they could do it, but i had to pay an extra charge bringing the fee to approximately $30, which I paid. The next day I received a text that my suits were done. Because I was at work that day, I picked them up the morning of the day after the call. I brought them out to the vehicle and found they had not been cleaned or pressed, along with noticeable damage to my (of course) favorite suit. 2 pull hole marks on the back and a noticeable 3 inch tear on my sleeve. I brought them right back in and showed the lady. She was apologetic and said she would try to have them cleaned by the next day, because her company truck had just left. She also said she would have someone fix the sleeve. So i let her have the suits and got them back the next day. The sewing job on the sleeve was garbage... (the hole marks on the back were noticeable and not fixable)... NO REFUND of any money was offered or given.. but the lady said I could bring the suits back to be laundered.....like I would do that.... thanks for nothing Mill Pond. It seems you are all about the money...Im sorry, but if I could give you a negative rating I would. Now since Steven the owner wants to alter the story, (too bad your alterations/repairs arent as good).. 1. Both suits were not cleaned or pressed the first time..... they were after I gave them back the 2nd time (ask your employee...she had agreed with me when she saw them) 2. The suits (not being new) were both in very good condition when given...my suits were not cleaned on the premises...the suits had to be sent out...(where to I dont know) . 3. I was offered a store credit, but since I rarely use your business (and never again after the damage and your attitude in the reply) , why would I accept a store credit....and even though you say you did this all for for no charge, I never received any refund from you. read more

Great service. I brought my wind breaker jacket in for repair, and was given two options: either have the zipper replaced, or just fix the track and make the zipper functional. I opted for the latter. I was very surprised when I learned that the zipper fix was no charge! I was very happy, now knowing I would have my trusty jacket for vacation after all. I am always happy with the service at Mill Pond Cleaners. I've been a customer for the past few years after my old cleaner retired and went out of business. They do all their own cleaning on the premises, including my work shirts, which always come out clean and neatly pressed. I definitely recommend Mill Pond Cleaners! I recently dropped off an outfit to be dry cleaned and pressed and requested next day service which was a Saturday (July 3rd). I know that they close earlier on Saturdays and I was also reminded by the staff that they close at 3:00pm on Saturday. I had a pretty hectic day on Saturday and when I did remember to go and pick up my outfit it was already past 3:00pm and I needed the outfit for the next day, July 4th. I ended up sending a message on Facebook messenger in regards to my outfit. I did receive a reply from the owner Steve a few hours later offering to come by on Sunday morning to open up the business so that I can pick up my outfit. I was very grateful especially since it was a holiday (4th of July). Steve did not have to do this but chose to put the customer first and offered to come to the location on a holiday morning and open up the business so that I could have my outfit for an event I was hosting. Not only is the owner Steve great, the staff is also great and does a wonderful job! They do a decent job cleaning the clothes, but the service is so unfriendly. I have been there a few times and every time I walk in I feel completely ignored. Nobody is ever at the register, they are doing other things (which if fine), but they are so reluctant to acknowledge you and take their time coming to the register, so you just stand there like an idiot wondering if anyone is going to help you. They all see you but clearly resent that you're there. When they do come to the register they never speak, the whole transaction is done without a word. I don't need anyone to kiss my a**, but would it kill you to say hello or thank you?! read more

At 8:15 am, I was 40 mins away from an extremely important job interview and I noticed my make up had made a mess of collar of my white, collared shirt. Was a customer of this cleaner for many, many years, Very happy with them, and the tailor also. BUT, alas, brought a 40 year-old Navajo blanket to be cleaned. First mistake. They didn't test it first, and it was destroyed. They notified us and originally asked what it cost. When I went in to pick up my other stuff, I asked what we do about this. Was told the owner would get in touch with us. Today, they called - according to the owner, the value has "depreciated" and it's "worthless". I used to go here from time to time for dry cleaning. They do an okay job. One day I with two huge shopping bags full of garments to be dry cleaned. The sign said they were open until two. I carried both bags in at 1:50 and the young girl told me they were closed. I was less than happy and never went back again. read more
