Mr. Lee is excellent! My husband and I are new to the area and we've been very satisfied with the work done here. Great, friendly customer service, too!! read more

Brought a winter coat to be cleaned and mended. They charged me for mending which was never done. Took to another cleaners and was shocked that the cleaner would charge and lie. I reported him to better business busines bureau and consumer complaint. He must be stopped. doing crappy work. Called and would not even agree this was not done. read more

After spending almost $200 on alterations on my husbands suit and my pants suit I found that they never shortened the sleeves on my husbands suit. I go back to them and the owner refused to do anything claiming she shortened them. Mind you they still sit on the same part of his hand as when I brought it in for alterations. There's no talking to her she's one miserable person and that's being nice. So now I have to spend more money elsewhere to get them Fixed. Would not recommend them. read more

Great location and flexible pickup dates. However this does not make up for their poor quality control. Took a shirt back and it came back the same way. Here are some examples. read more

Elite Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Chester, New York

Butchered my leggings. I needed them shortened and they put a hole in them and completely botched the job.

I prepaid for a zipper fix on some shorts. When I came back two weeks later nothing had been done but dry cleaning, which wasn't what I paid for. My wife warned me that they also straight-up lost one of her shirts awhile back. I should have listened. This was my first and last experience at this place. read more

People make mistakes, I get it, but it's about how you handle the mistake. This particular cleaner/tailor, Mr. & Mrs. Lee, botched the hem on a $120 pair of pants, yelled at me for raising my concern, refused the $10 hemming refund (the least they could do...), and when I said I wouldn't return with my business, they screamed "fine leave!" or something to that effect. Not exactly smart business people... had they done the math they would see I spend $300+ per year with them. Look you could probably drop your shirts off and not have incident for years, but the moment something goes wrong, you are likely to expereience difficulty getting any cooperation whatsoever from these proprietors. Note: the address on Yelp is correct (60 Brookside, Quickway Plaza, Chester NY), but they changed the business name to "Elite Cleaners". read more

Mr. Lee is kind and courteous. Our dry cleaning has always been returned with a professional job done. They have hemmed several pairs of dress pants and I have no complaints. I love that they are local and easy parking! read more

Best dry cleaner in Orange County. Mr. Lee is very nice man who always has a smile on his face. Elite does the best job on all my dry cleaning and I have a lot. I also love to wear black and have a white dog. They get every piece of fur off my black clothes. The best. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I wish I would've taken heed to the previous review. I brought in a pair of slacks and blazer for my 1 yr old to get altered. The pant was tucked in half way up the leg and hand sewn, so u can see every stitch on the outside. Not only was the tailoring/alteration shamelessly poor. It was so incredibly over priced, they didn't even have the courtesy to press the tiny suit. Save yourself from disappointment, find a real professional to do the job correctly . Don't give these dishonest crooks any business! read more

Never in my life have I experienced such an unprofessional exchange. After respectfully explaining to Mr. Lee how he mistakenly mixed up the hem job on two pairs of navy blue pants I brought into him, he instantly became abrasive and defensive. I offered to pay for the pressing but not the fee to fix the botched hems (after he tried to charge me full price to have them fixed). Although Mr. Lee was so confident that I was in the wrong, he said how he doesn't even remember me coming in a week prior. Mr. Lee began using phrases such as "I don't make mistake, you make mistake", and "I don't trust you". What ever happened to the customer is always right? Excluding the fact that they are overpriced and produce sub-par work, Elite Cleaners is the worst professional establishment I have ever dealt with. My mother warned me about going to Elite Cleaners, and boy was she right. Please don't make the same mistake that I did. Save your money, time, and anguish, and bring your business elsewhere. read more

I left my bridesmaids dress on the 1st of July with Mr Lee and I explained to him in detail that I needed the zipper altered and a strap made to which he said that should be no problem. He then went on to say that he would call me on the 15th of July so that I could try it on. The 15th came and went and no phone call whatsoever. I called this joke of a cleaners myself and asked how my dress was. They said nothing had been done yet but he would call me the next day between 12 and 1 when it would be definitely done. Bear in mind, the wedding I needed the dress for is the on the 21st of July. At 3 the next day, after receiving no phone call, I called to which Mr Lee assured me all work had been completed and to collect the dress. I picked it up and tried it on and had seen absolutely nothing bar one thread blocking the zipper had been done. Clearly furious, I called Mr Lee who first refused to give me a refund. I paid the store a visit and obviously explained that because absolutely no work had been done on the dress I wanted a full refund, to which he said that a thread had been sewn on which constituted work. After arguing with him I got my refund in cash only because I threatened to go to Discover directly for the refund. Avoid this business unless you want more disappointment and frustration in your life. read more
