The physical plant itself is rather small and could easily be expanded with all the real estate there. The staff seemed friendly. And instructed me to go downstairs because I was attending a concert/presentation of musical composers. The presentation was excellent but the library seriously lacked modern technology. And as a result the presenter told us of the mechanical problems in his introduction. But it all worked out for the best possible means. In a town as affluent as Colts neck, one would think that a public facility would be on top of their "game". Not the case.

Books they don't have, you can often borrow from other libraries in the network. All of the librarians have always been friendly and helpful. Also there have been many times when my home printer wasn't working and it was a lifesaver to be able to come here and print my documents at a cheap price. The librarians seem to have a sincere passion for books and a wide knowledge of what appeals to each visitor. Every time I wander in without ideas on what I need, arise librarian greets me, listens to my comments and sagely offers a book or two that I end up adoring. These librarians know books and almost do a "mentalist" thing on you, reading your mind, revealing your preferences and current desires and directing you accordingly. The building and grounds are pretty, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the branch has a lot to offer: expansive children's/young adult sections; meeting/conference rooms; a designated quiet room; second-floor lounge area; computer/internet services; secluded armchairs by the windows amongst the bookshelves; cubicles/tables for solo/small group study, etc. It has become my go-to place when I need to get some work done.

What a beautiful place full of beautiful people …read more They renovated the library and it looks so bright and modern , they also have a stage for live entertainment :) Service in this place is simply amazing , everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Their bathrooms are extremely clean and they even have an elevator . Definitely recommend .
