New Policy 10/1/13 regarding the study rooms. See my review for details.
    Ali N.

Been coming to this library for years! Great place to get some actual studying done. However, BEWARE! as of 10/1/13 they require you to sign in to use the rooms for 2hrs at a time. No longer first come/first serve as long as you want. Keep this in mind in case someone randomly kicks you out of the room you are using! Personally not a fan of this new rule, please take note if someone at OBPL reads this, for people getting real studying done, this is not good as it breaks our concentration. *Changing my original review from 5 to 4 stars because of this policy. Didn't realize how annoying it could get while trying to study for the USMLE and there's a "Time Nazi" hounding you as opposed to the other patrons of the library. =/ (Having to repeatedly get out of the room after 2 hours, then every hour to renew your time is highly distracting while studying for an important exam.)

Been coming here since I was a little kid. Always one of my favorite places growing up, and it's still cool today.

Well-endowed and well-furnished, EBPL has all of the library essentials--and then some:…read more *In-person passport services from an authorized passport application acceptance facility ($25 agency execution fee charged by EBPL in addition to renewal fee to the US DOS) *Café area with snack and coffee vending machines, magazines, and newspapers *Nintendo DS and PS3 games, anime DVDs, English-language graphic novels (trade paperback), audiobooks, and music CDs for rental *Foreign language books and newspapers *Youth services area with booth seating, power outlets, and computers *Dedicated rooms for quiet study, children's programming, and special events *Two self-service checkout stations I'm not terribly impressed with the old, tiled, poorly ventilated two-stall restrooms by the mystery section and the conference rooms. The parking lot at the main entrance has about 60 non-handicapped, non-temporary parking spaces, but is usually full in the afternoons and evenings. Overflow parking is available on the other side of the senior center and town hall, which are both in the same complex. Be prepared to yield to children, elderly pedestrians, and occasionally police cars.

Best library I've ever been to. I never thought I'd be Duke of a library, and I'll bet no teacher I…read moreever had did either. They get some fairly new movies in circulation and they have tons of video games for all systems. What's crazy is that video games are like $2 for 2 weeks and movies are like a buck each for a week. Don't quote me on those prices, but it's cheap. Makes you wonder why people still rent from Blockbuster and Independent video stores... Either way I always see those sometimes hard sometimes soft things ...tacos? No, I think it's something with a B. I see a TON of them on my way to the games/movies. I picked one up once and while the cover had me fooled into thinking it was something delicious it turns out they aren't edible.

Never thought I'd need to right a review on a place like Barnes & Nobles, but was definitely less…read morethan satisfied with my visit at this particular location today.. This has literally been my local B&N for years & I know the layout of the store etc. My problem didn't stem from the products in store, I actually made out with an incredible deal with two chargers retailed for $99 & being sold for only $6! No, my problem stemmed from the rude af girl behind the cash register who berated me with her feminist/woke attitude I definitely did not deserve. All I said was that I have been shopping at that location for years & knew the stores layout very well, & she immediately adopted the most sarcastic, smart ass attitude with me & definitely was trying to make me feel uncomfortable. I kept my composure & stood through her lackluster explanation of a book series I already had no interest in, basically because I was still trying to process why she had an attitude with me in the first place lmao. I walked around the store for a couple minutes & decided to check out. She comes back up to the counter & ask me if I picked out the book she had suggested. I said no. She continues to start the process of ringing me up & noticed the $99 chargers are on sale for an incredible $6. I go on to explain how before I was telling her very helpful co worker how I'm very skilled at finding deals. She more or less tried to silence me talking bout "Hold on I need to focus on this". Focus on what? Reducing the price??? Then after I get out what I have to say, she hits me with the most sarcastic "GOOD FOR YOU"... lol. Her coworker was extremely helpful btw & didn't have any attitude what's so ever. Anywho.. I pay for my items & the girl Kyna (girl behind the counter) tries to play me saying " Would you be fine not receiving a bag, cause I don't have any big ones ". Come on now... You already started off very disrespectful, but tryna have me leave the store without offering me a shopping bag is flat out rude & unprofessional. I asked if they have smaller bags & low & behold she pulls out a bag that's perfectly sized for the items I purchased. I wanted to laugh at how unprofessional she was conducting herself with something as remedial as a shopping bag. I wished her a great day & thanked her & walked out. Always keep it classy. & now here I am on yelp with this stellar review B&N piece of advice, be mindful of the woke employees you decide to have ring up customers. You never know who's gonna walk through the door & who will take the time to shout them out on a bad yelp review.
