In addition to the branch removals, tree shaping and trimming, Matthew took the time to replace an old cable on our biggest locust that he saw was cutting into the bark with a superior cabling system. He and his crew were all so helpful, pleasant, and respectful of the yard and garden. Despite all the heavy branches that needed trimming, there was no damage to anything and cleanup was above and beyond. My father had his own tree company for years, Z Trees, I went with, helping, so I am a bit particular what I want plus one tree was on our neighbor's property and leaning over our roof. We vetted six different companies before hiring Hemlock (one didn't even think we needed a permit!) and can say we definitely made the right hiring choice. The permitting process with the city was long (about six months), complicated, and occasionally frustration. That said, Brandon, who is obviously well respected and connected in the industry, kept us informed every step of the way and worked so hard to (eventually) get the permit approved. Once we got the permit, the turnaround to getting us on their schedule was so fast and efficient. The crew were wonderful and worked tirelessly; they were extremely knowledgeable, used safe methods, and took great care to protect our surrounding structures. And the cleanup was incredible!
