I went here today to spend a rainy Saturday morning inside. I would call it a perhaps nicer(?) Chuck E. Cheese with a monkey mascot instead of a mouse. The bouncy houses are sort of grouped by age which is kind of nice so the younger ones don't get jumped on by the older ones. Both of my kids ended up with a cut on their shins though so I'm not really sure if one of the houses had a sharp edge or something. We stayed for lunch and had cheese pizza and tater tots which were decent. The kids enjoyed it which is the whole point of the trip. The arcade games are also kid friendly however I did enjoy a game of air hockey myself though! read more

You get what you pay for. It's pretty cheap. My kids had fun but they don't know any better. The slides and bouncy houses are dirty and ripped. The foam pit looks it hasn't been cleaned or foam replaced in years. Upgrades!! Came at opening on a Sunday morning and was greeted with a friendly host who got us checked in very easily. Paid $1.99 plus tax for a parking validation ticket having parked in the Pointe parking garage. Parking otherwise is $4 for 2 hours or $6 for 3 hours so we ended up saving $4 there! Also received a BOGO coupon after having done the online waiver for our children. It was pretty quiet and they have added some new areas and improved the general feel of the place. Came here a couple of months ago with my 8 month old at the time. I know that may be too young to some but it was a slow day and we just moved to the area so my daughter doesn't have any other kids to play with. I thought this would be good for her. The woman at the counter allowed us to check out the toddler section before agreeing to go play. There were a couple of older kids toddlers but i decided my daughter could walk and sit and watch and i could go in one of the bouncey areas with her. They didn't even charge us, which was really nice of them. My daughter was nervous but she sat and watched other kids, even started following some people around. We didn't stay too long because it was about her time to nap. But everything was clean, and staff was nice. The bathroom was kind of dirty. I took my 2 year old and my 6 year old to Monkey Joe's on Midlothian in VA. I paid my $10 and entered with my kids. As soon as we got in there, my 2 year old began to freak out (scared) so we had to leave. (Not Monkey Joe's fault) My gripe comes from the customer service I received on my way out of the establishment. I asked the teenager at the exit if I could have a refund since we had only been there for 2 minutes. She simply said "No" so I asked if I could return with my older son after I found care for my 2 year old and she just pointed at the "No re-entry" sign with a shitty look on her face. I asked a couple more times, given the circumstances to which she replied by just pointing to the sign again. I finally just said "screw it" and we left. It's a nice place to let your children play and tire themselves out on a rainy day. My only complaint is parents not watching their children who rough house with other children. Younger children can really get hurt and it's some little Hell children that hit the younger children on purpose. Those demon children have parents that know they are from the pits of hell and aren't watching them. read more

Great place for kids. It was great for the kids I brought there they had so much fun. The food wasn't that great and a little pricey. It a great way to let the kids burn energy but I wouldn't let kids under a certain age play alone. Bigger kids are much wild and at times get into the toddler area. I thought my toddler would enjoy this place, but she was actually a bit scared. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes, but I still give this place a good review because the customer service was fantastic. Seeing my daughter was nervous, the employees did several things to try to help coax her into the bounce areas. They also offered several suggestions that my wife and I could do as well. Ultimately, when it was obvious she was not going to enjoy herself, they then issued a full refund without even batting an eye. This is a good spot to let the kids blow off some steam. The location is great with so many food spots around it. We go first thing when they open since it does get crazy towards the afternoon and things are still wiped down and clean at this time. This was our first time to Monkey Joes went because an area for 3 and under is advertised. While there is a 3 and under area, the age limit is not enforced. We had to leave after 15 min because there was nowhere for my daughter play due to the older kids playing in the 3 and under area. Monkey Joes is a great place to take kids for some indoor fun. Kids pay an admission fee an parents are free. The admission fee covers a variety of bounce house type activities but you will have to purchase a card to play games. The place is clean and they have staff present to supervise. My son loves this place. Last time we went, he played on the bounce houses for like two hours, so I like that it's something that really keeps him running around & active. On the downside, it can be a little pricey considering prices vary by age & day of the week (I believe weekends are more expensive) and for families with more than one child, unlike my own. The actual bounce houses at this location seem to be pretty worn and dirty. With so many kids, I'm sure there are germs everywhere, so hand sanitizer is always a good idea! They do also have food available for purchase and an arcade, but I never even bother with that stuff because it all just seems very overpriced. For that, I'd rather just take my son to D&B's down the street. Oh & just like most other places for children, Saturdays are PACKED with children running around EVERYWHERE, so you really have to be careful & keep a close watch on your child because some kids are pretty rough. Thankfully, from what I have seen many times, they have always been pretty good at checking everyone's wrist bands to make sure the right child is always leaving with the right family. Kids are supposed to always have socks when playing on the bounces houses, too, but I have noticed on busy Saturday's that they don't really enforce this, but usually, if you don't have socks, they will make you buy a pair there. I don't remember the price. All in all, like I said, my son loves this place, so I feel it's worth the minor negatives to see him get to enjoy himself and just be a kid. read more

We first went here for a 5 year olds birthday party and the kids had a blast!!! We came back to bring my son and nefew and my 4 year old was scared...weird scared of air filled bouning fun??? Anyway, they did end up refunding my money as we watched my nefew play. Now my 7 year old went for a birthday party last night and had a blast! So I would say that 2 out of three kids is pretty good and they were nice enough to refund my money. The only thing I was unhappy about is that we checked prices before we chose Monkey Joe's instead of another place like this and it was slightly cheaper (and closer to my home). Bring socks! They will not let your kids play without socks for sanitary reasons. If you forget, the socks cost $3/pair. SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE! I usually take my son to chuckee cheese and this place puts them to shame... They're are about 5 to 6 inflatables to choose from for the kids and they're huge! Also when I went they just blew up 2 brand new inflatables! They have a cute little arcade area where the kids can play but nothing too great selection wise. What a great place!! We spent several hours here, and had to drag the kids out. There was plenty of staff to keep everyone safe, which I loved. Monkey Joes is a great place to take your kids to get a lot of energy out and garentee a nap once you get home (or on the way home). Its a massive facility full of blowup bounce houses and climbers. There are huge slides and also smaller ones reserved for kids 3 and under which is a huge plus for me. The facilities are amazingly clean so I really don't get as grossed out as I do in most indoor play places. The only thing I would warn is that going in the summer and when older school children are out of school it can get crowded and crazy. I am a mom of preschoolers so I avoid it at all costs during those times, once the daycares and daycamps take over its like total chaos and I don't feel safe letting my 4 year old let loose. Very bad customer service!!!! My daughter wanted to celebrate her 5th Birthday at Monkey Joe's. I thought this would be a great idea. So I called the Central Party Reservations Dept about 2 weeks ago. I left a very detailed message that I has several questions before booking my party online. I didn't receive a response within 24 hours. So I called back again, same answering machine. I didn't want to be an annoying customer so I didn't leave a message until the following week. When I left my second message requesting for someone to call me and again I left a detailed message. Again, no response. Now my daughter's bday is in a week. I called again and I still received the same answering machine. I called the actual location and spoke to a a manager and she was explained that the date that I needed was completely booked. I posed the question, of someone called me back the first time could I had that date? She said, " most likely yes!". She offered no support other than booking on another day. I asked could she do something for me for the trouble. She said, "NO." Now I am left to find another location for her party. My daughter is very disappointed!!! This place is a mad house. The kids they have working here don't seem to care. Not very friendly. They just let the bigger kids run around everywhere. Half the kids have no socks on. My parental review: complete chaos. My son's review: heaven. So I have a bit of OCD and if you are the same when it comes to organization and cleanliness, this is not the place for you. There are young people running the place but their main concern is keeping the private rooms for parties stocked or helping on those events. Outside in the play area it's a free for all with all the kids running around bumping into each other, tripping over each other and no one, and I mean no one, that worked there was supervising ANY of the inflatable slides/play areas. It's pretty much them charging you for your kids and other parents to do as they please. If I had smaller children I would not go there. In fact I probably won't be back. They say they clean the place but I doubt this as I saw half the kids sneezing and wiping their dirty little hands all over everything and the next kid touching right where it was left off. Again, your kid will love it and let's face it they are what matters, but beware that it's chaotic, not supervised, and not very clean. I'm giving it two stars only because my 5 year old left happy, alive and in one piece, and slept the whole night after being exhausted from all the jumping around. read more

I recently had my grandsons birthday party at Monkey Joes at festival Bay, In Orlando. My daughter picked it and I paid. I have to say it was a huge waste of money. We did a party package for 8 kids which was 220 dollars, That only included 1 pizza, juice boxes for the kids, and little ice cream cups. Thjey didn't serve pizza till 5:30. Our party room time ended at 6. No time to eat pizza, have Birthday cake etc..... Very stressful, trying to get everyone to finish pizza and get out. Couldn't even open presents. Also I ordered 2 additional pizzas at 15 dollars apiece, they wont allow you to order more the day of party. I realized why, they only charge 9.99 for pizzas!!!!!! Thank God Most of the people that were coming had to call out sick, even with the 3 pizzas i wouldn't have had nearly enough. Would have been MUCH cheaper to just walk in, pay 6 bucks per kid and buy a few 9.99 pizzas!!!! Very Disapointed will never book party there again. Also you have to pay for all adult drinks, not included in party package. So by the time i paid the 25 dollars for that and a tip to the waitress it cost me over 300 dollars. For 4 kids and 9 adults!!!! ridiculous. Next year it's back to Chucky Cheese!!!!! Oh and they said they have a play area for small kids, under 4. It was pathetic, 2 little inflateable things and a tiny playroom with a couple toys. And the video games you have to pay for. If you are thinking of booking a party, just walk in. I came here on Monday with my three almost four year old and my daughter who is six years old. When I got there the line was ridiculously long (this is probably because it was a holiday) and after standing in line for a decent amount we made it to the front of the line only to be sent back for apparently not signing the waiver properly!!! Which no one had bothered to tell us beforehand that we needed one for every adult! The lady in the front of the line put the wristband way too tight on my daughters wrist and my daughter was complaining and she didn't even offer to remove it until I said something. But my kids had a lot of fun in the baby section once we actually made it inside. After a while though my son got a little bored of the baby section and started to wonder around wanting to get on the other bounces. But the place was so busy and under-managed I feared he would get hurt. He tried to get on that new house they have in there but this small hispanic looking worker who just sitting in there would not let him in! She did not even explain why she simply said to my son"you cant come in here". When I asked why she said then pointed at a little piece of paper that said 4 years and said he had to be four and that height and walked off. Fortunately though another worker came and saw my son upset and asked what wrong and I explained the situation to her and let him go inside. She even helped him get out of the cube thing and made sure the kids didn't topple over him! I was ready to complain about the other worker and if it wasnt her I would have but she made sure my son had fun in there and wasn't getting hurt. I think her name was Shayla or Shaye or something like that. Really tall girl with curly bun. After playing in the house thing my kids I would definitely come back here but they really need to work on their customer service. read more
