Orlando definitely lacks good venue rental options for larger events, so I'm happy to see this new option. It's located right in front of the Florida Mall, so there was plenty of parking, but they also offered a valet service which was very helpful. I like that it is a 2-floor open concept so you still feel connected to what's happening downstairs, but you're able to break up the crowd a bit. I believe there were about 400 people in attendance and it never felt overly congested. I can definitely see this becoming a popular wedding and party venue and there are so many ways to get creative with the space and tailor it to your individualized needs. Communication was inconsistent, promises were made and then ignored, and it often felt like their main concern was collecting money rather than providing the service that was advertised. I found many aspects of the rental process to be misleading and deceptive. Expectations that were set during booking did not match the reality of what was provided. When concerns were raised, there was little accountability and no genuine effort to resolve the issues. A reputable business should stand behind its word, but unfortunately that was not my experience here. What should have been a special and enjoyable event became stressful and frustrating due to poor management and a lack of professionalism. Trust is important when booking a venue, especially for important occasions, and this venue failed to earn or maintain that trust. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this venue and would strongly encourage others to do thorough research before booking. There are many other venues that value their customers and operate with honesty and integrity. Save yourself the headache and avoid this venue at all costs.

PRO's: -Nicely sized rooms - not huge, but not small either. I was assigned to a room with two queen beds, but it was just me, so I had an extra bed to put luggage, etc. on. -HUGE bathrooms, including a separate shower and separate bathtub, and nice amenties. -Excellent customer service - I had some ice packs I needed them to hold on to, in their freezer, and they were able to do that at the bell hop desk for me. -Ridiculously nice pool area - I was staying here for a conference and brought a swimsuit just in case, but as soon as I got to my room the first day - which they upgraded me, to a pool/lake room view, even though I don't have status with Marriott - I knew I had to try out the pool and waterslides. Luckily I had a spare hour before my conference started so I literally ate lunch and then jumped on a water slide, ha. ----There are three water slides: one you require an inner tube for, and the other two you just lay back while on it. CONs: -The area between the toilet and the toilet paper roll is super small. I am not a small person so this is probably why I had an issue, but I ended up just taking the toilet paper off the roll, because it kept hitting my thighs when I unrolled it. -The shower has a handheld area you can use or just the regular shower top (? I forget the name for that). The regular top doesn't have great water pressure, so I ended up using the handheld thing and just keeping it pointed towards me. They have a sign up in the lobby saying that Forbes chose them as one of the nicest properties in the world, I believe, and I can see why. They also have a few restaurants on site, as well as a Starbucks, but most of my meals were included at my conference; I did get Doordash the first day I was there, though. Be aware that for the Starbucks you cannot order ahead on the app, though, and the lines are often long (especially with conferences going on, and there were two while I was staying there, including ours!). I would definitely stay at this hotel again - I wasn't paying for the bill this time but I believe it is rather pricey normally, though.

When you are paying premium rates, you expect service that stands out, and this felt a little more average than memorable. Overall, it is a nice hotel, but at this price level I was hoping for a stronger service experience.

Almost 3 million dollars were invested into renovating the house when Cypress Grove Park was created in 1994. The house is now a premier spot in Orlando for weddings, showers, corporate events, and other private parties. I enjoyed admiring the stately home and walking the lush grounds with oak and cypress trees, blooming flowers, and landscaped lawns. The property has a beautiful view of the scenic Lake Jessamine. A walk down a brick pathway takes you to a romantic white gazebo which is the site of many weddings. The lake and charming park landscape provides the perfect backdrop for nuptials or a casual picnic on the back lawn.

It had to be special ordered in advance but there was no extra charge. The chef they have must be amazing to have served such a creative dish. We weren't told what it was so I can't say, but I'll post a photo of it. It was cooked perfectly. Parking was plentiful. the venue is on the second floor. There were two staircases plus an elevator that is located next to the rear of Foxtail coffee. My only reservation is that during the cocktail hour, it would have been nice to have additional seating options and more tables to stand at and eat the hors d'oeuvres.

I used the resortpass to help plan the best daycation at the pool and cabanas at The Ritz Carlton Orlando Resort. The cabana was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating fully finished with stocked mini fridge, tv, daybed, 4 lounge chairs, ample seating, and towels. We had a pool attendant who took excellent care of us and made sure we never went hungry. The resort pass day pass for the cabana included chip, guacamole, salsa and a fruit platter which was almost too beautiful to eat. Although the fridge came stocked with water and beverages we decided to add on nonalcoholic piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris to quench our thirst. They were so delicious! Later in the day we ordered chicken wings, a chicken quesadilla, and cheese burgers and fries. It's hard to believe that the cheese burger came from the pool restaurant, it was excellent!! The entire facility is clean, and the staff are friendly and outgoing. The day I got to play this course it was cart path only due to all the rain so to keep this course nice we couldn't drive on the fairways. I got to do a lot of walking and to see a lot of the course. Hope to get to play it again when I can drive on the fairways. Come play here if you get the chance.
