I visited the Convention Center for an event. The facility was clean and well maintained. The Convention Center is a great venue for all types of events. This event did not disappoint. The food and beverage department does a phenomenal job with the food preparation and presentation. The staff is friendly and provides good service. The event room was themed decorated. The decorations, lights, and audio were all well coordinated providing the right effect and ambience.

Very huge convention center with some variety in food places to eat. Just really expensive and mostly food like pizza, boba tea, dipping dots, BBQ, Chickfila, etc. Chickfila was not the same. Plus it was like $15 per meal box. Vending machine drinks were $4.75. Very nice arena layouts for the dance competition I went to. Plenty of bathrooms, outlets for charging phones, etc. and plenty of walking space and easy access for those in wheelchairs, etc.

Orange County Convention Center is a solid 4 stars. It's huge, and it can actually handle big shows without feeling like everything is about to fall apart. It is well equipped, easy enough to navigate once you get your bearings, and the food courts are placed in convenient spots so you're not burning half your day just trying to find something to eat. It is slightly dated, but overall it's clean and it works. The main thing is the walking. I had one stretch where it was about a 12 minute fast paced walk to get from 304 to 230, for example. Wear real shoes and plan your moves. Bag check is available ($4), which is clutch if you're carrying stuff or you don't want to haul everything around all day. The only real negative is traffic. Getting in and out can be a mess, and the surrounding roads feel like urban planning, not built for peak convention volume. I saw traffic for hours trying to get out afterwards. Overall, it's a nice, dependable venue for a convention. Just expect a lot of steps and some traffic headaches, be sure to book a hotel nearby (I would avoid the Mai Hana, however, they cancelled my reservation and I only found out about it upon checkin with no notice! Pay more for hotels that are within a 10 minute walk - you will save on Ubers/Lyfts, and forget the public buses, they are super slow and inconsistent).

Welcome to the Orange County Convention Center - where your FitBit hits 20,000 steps before noon and your wallet drops $20 just to park your car for the privilege. I came here for a double feature: the ASSP Safety25 Conference + Expo (because safety never takes a holiday) and the AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships (where whistles blow more than the crowd). It's like the Super Bowl of nerdy PPE and fierce teenage volleyball energy... and I was here for all of it. Let me tell you, this place is MASSIVE. It's like an airport and a mall had a baby and gave it a caffeine drip. The signage is helpful (praise be!), but your calves will still complain by hour three. Pro tip: wear comfy shoes and pack a snack like you're preparing for a theme park. Inside? Sparkling floors, chilly AC (thank you, Florida humidity gods), and surprisingly clean bathrooms. Outside? A sea of minivans and SUVs jockeying for the closest $20 parking space. Yep, $20 PER DAY. If you're lucky, your car will be closer than your hotel room. Still, the staff were friendly, the lighting great for photos (because Instagram or it didn't happen), and it ran like a well-oiled machine. Bonus points for the sheer variety of events--it's like Comic-Con for adults who never outgrew either sports or safety vests. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I grumble about the parking again? Without question. Bring your patience and your walking shoes, and you'll survive this convention jungle just fine.

This weekend was the first time I ever went to through the Osceola county convention center and oh dear, how big it is. On the first day I parked at the free parking lot across the Hilton however I regretted that big time because it took me over a half hour to get all the way to the other side of the West Wing so the other days I decided to just pay for parking There are so many bathrooms and eateries across the convention center and everything is set up, conveniently within hours, I am pretty much floor plan by heart

I go to this convention center for the famous IAAPA expo. Parking is quite expensive at a little over 21 dollars after taxes. While there is plenty of parking spaces, it can sometimes be difficult to find a spot if the convention is huge. The main entrance is at the second floor, and there are mostly stairs to get up and one elevator as well to head to the entrance. The north and south areas are used for our expo. The convention center is pretty big and specious. There are escalators to reach the floors (3 stories total). However, it can be difficult to reach from north to south without going through the actual show floor in the first floor. The bridge on the second floor looked to be closed. The show floor is very spacious, but the bathrooms can get dirty even though there are quite a few in the show floor. The restaurants are outrageously expensive, with 8 dollars for a hotdog, 4 to 5 dollars for water or soda, and 18 dollars for a nice lunch. Even though the food quality is acceptable, it doesn't justify the price. Leaving the area can sometimes be difficult, especially if they close the road leading to Universal Blvd. The staff can be a hit or miss. Security staff are relatively friendly, and the parking lot can be helpful or nonchalant depending on who you meet. You do get your parking receipt online after scanning a QR code. Restaurant staff seem to just want to finish their shift. Overall, while the convention center is large, it could be better. The parking and food is very expensive. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner. The staff could be a bit more helpful. It's not a bad convention center, but other cities I been to (like Tampa and New Mexico) have centers that are more friendlier to the attendees. Overall: C-

The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando is an excellent venue for events. We come here often for cheer competitions, and it's always a great experience. The center is very spacious with an easy-to-navigate layout and plenty of seating areas, which is especially helpful when you're waiting between events. There are also plenty of outlets to charge your phone! There are lots of food options available inside, and if you stay at a nearby hotel like the Rosen Centre or the Hyatt, you can use their sky bridges to walk directly into the convention center, making the day much easier and more convenient. Just note that there is a parking fee if you drive and park at the convention center. Overall, it's a well-designed, convenient, and comfortable place for large events.

Wear a good comfortable pair of shoes because you're going to do a lot of walking. I've been here a few times but this is my first return in probably 5+ years and I had forgotten how massively huge this place is. Fun facts: This building's exhibit hall is 22 acres under roof, which would fit 200 NBA sized basketball courts; There are 130,000 Cubic Yards of cast in place concrete that equals 410 miles of sidewalk. That's the same distance to Key West from Orlando! Access is easy from the "Beachline"(SR528), only being about 1/2 mile from the exit, or off International Drive. I was a little surprised at the $20.00 parking fee, and they don't accept cash. Parking was quick and I found a spot that was fairly close to the entrance (relatively speaking). I was here to attend the annual Central Florida International Auto Show. I entered through the West Entrance and that was the beginning of the trek to the exhibition hall (remember those facts I told you about). After going up an escalator walking down a long corridor, turning into an open concourse, going down an escalator, walking through the concourse, turning right walking down another corridor, I found my destination. A table with computers for buying tickets was set up not far from the main doors to the Car Show. It was self explanatory and easy to purchase one's ticket. Normal price was $20.00 however Veterans/Seniors were given a discount so my ticket was only $14.00. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful and it looked like all attendees were enjoying the exhibit. I enjoyed seeing the new cars, but nothing jumped out and grabbed me, ha! This is a great place to hold these types of events (they also have a boat show and RV show to name a few). For convention goers that are out of town, there's plenty of hotels and numerous excellent eating establishments along International Drive. If you get the opportunity, check this place out (wear comfortable shoes).

I have never seen such a HUGE venue in my life! Make sure to bring comfortable shoes to walk around! The conference rooms are very spread out. It's gorgeous, bright, and clean. The restrooms are well maintained, and plenty of stalls for the ladies. The ride share drop off/pick up area is very easy to identify. Not sure if the conference center covered the F&B. All breakfasts, lunches and happy hour light bites were delicious, but the coffee was soooo bad, like it was rebrewed too many times and watered down.

We have been to multiple events here. Every time we have not been disappointed. The layout is easy to maneuver. Parking is bit of walk from main area though.

Bandai Card Game Fest 24-25

Recently went here to participate in the Bandai Card Game Fest and was really impressed! I didn't realize how massive this place is. There were 3 major conventions happening at the same time and since it's so big you never would have ever known. The facility was very clean and there were plenty of places to sit and hang out in the lobbies. The Bandai fest was a bit disorganized but that has nothing to do with Convention center. The super long winding line let us see more of the halls. We parked in the North lots even though our convention was in the East Hall so it was a bit of a walk but not too bad. I hear the lots for East West fill up fast and it's a hassle to get out and go to the other lot so we didn't chance it.

Skywalk to convention center from Rosen Centre Hotel

It's such a huge convention center and it felt like one big maze. By the time the show was over I knew my way around. There are so many different shows going on at the same time that it can feel overwhelming. At the same time it's great to see business moving in the right direction.

Communication was inconsistent, promises were made and then ignored, and it often felt like their main concern was collecting money rather than providing the service that was advertised. I found many aspects of the rental process to be misleading and deceptive. Expectations that were set during booking did not match the reality of what was provided. When concerns were raised, there was little accountability and no genuine effort to resolve the issues. A reputable business should stand behind its word, but unfortunately that was not my experience here. What should have been a special and enjoyable event became stressful and frustrating due to poor management and a lack of professionalism. Trust is important when booking a venue, especially for important occasions, and this venue failed to earn or maintain that trust. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this venue and would strongly encourage others to do thorough research before booking. There are many other venues that value their customers and operate with honesty and integrity. Save yourself the headache and avoid this venue at all costs.

This lunch was a little special as the chefs gave us a culinary journey through the park via the buffet, allowing them to try a lot of different menu items from inside the park all in one place. Choices included lobster mac n' cheese, barbeque ribs and brisket, Latin American and Asian inspired dishes, salads, sides, and desserts. After lunch, we headed back to Ports of Call to get up-close and personal with some very rare animals. A baby tamadura (lesser anteater) eating meal worms from a tube. In January of this year I did a complete shift! I started planning for a big 2027. I was told the most influential people are at golf courses. Well, I called a very good friend who happens to be a very good golfer and was invited to come to the PGA in Florida! Who would turn down the PGA? PGA tickets at Arnold Palmer range from regular tickets being $100 to the Orange Grove option which was a luxury package including all-inclusive food and beverage and clubhouse access. Two-day packages (Thursday and Friday or Saturday and Sunday) started at $2,000, while the full-week four-round package STARTED at $3,500. Arnold Palmer is well maintained and super swanky! I was able to talk to the volunteers and was shocked to learn that they volunteer to help run these events. Talk about Sports LOVERS! Geeeez! And they have done it for years! The golf course is huge! I had no idea that women wear sneakers to this event. I was there looking girly with designer sandals and a sundress and felt out of place. Ladies: come comfortable, you will be walking. Even VIPS walk. Save your designer shoes, this place is a golf course, full of dirt and plush green grass. Rookie mistake! Overall, loved this event. Didn't eat the food even though it was provided! See you next year!
