Well, this hotel was fabulous. I literally only have two small-ish negative things to say, and it probably doesn't affect everyone. PRO's: -Nicely sized rooms - not huge, but not small either. I was assigned to a room with two queen beds, but it was just me, so I had an extra bed to put luggage, etc. on. -HUGE bathrooms, including a separate shower and separate bathtub, and nice amenties. -Excellent customer service - I had some ice packs I needed them to hold on to, in their freezer, and they were able to do that at the bell hop desk for me. -Ridiculously nice pool area - I was staying here for a conference and brought a swimsuit just in case, but as soon as I got to my room the first day - which they upgraded me, to a pool/lake room view, even though I don't have status with Marriott - I knew I had to try out the pool and waterslides. Luckily I had a spare hour before my conference started so I literally ate lunch and then jumped on a water slide, ha. ----There are three water slides: one you require an inner tube for, and the other two you just lay back while on it. CONs: -The area between the toilet and the toilet paper roll is super small. I am not a small person so this is probably why I had an issue, but I ended up just taking the toilet paper off the roll, because it kept hitting my thighs when I unrolled it. -The shower has a handheld area you can use or just the regular shower top (? I forget the name for that). The regular top doesn't have great water pressure, so I ended up using the handheld thing and just keeping it pointed towards me. They have a sign up in the lobby saying that Forbes chose them as one of the nicest properties in the world, I believe, and I can see why. They also have a few restaurants on site, as well as a Starbucks, but most of my meals were included at my conference; I did get Doordash the first day I was there, though. Be aware that for the Starbucks you cannot order ahead on the app, though, and the lines are often long (especially with conferences going on, and there were two while I was staying there, including ours!). I would definitely stay at this hotel again - I wasn't paying for the bill this time but I believe it is rather pricey normally, though. read more

The JW Marriott definitely looks and feels like a high-end property. The hotel is polished, attractive, and has the upscale atmosphere you expect from the brand. That said, the price point is definitely on the high side, so expectations naturally go up with it. For me, the biggest disconnect was the service level, which felt more fair than exceptional. Nothing was terrible, but it did not really match the luxury pricing or the overall image of the property. When you are paying premium rates, you expect service that stands out, and this felt a little more average than memorable. I was fortunate to stay here for 2 nights for a conference. I thoroughly enjoyed the property, dining options and location (less than 20 minutes from Orlando airport). The grounds are stunning. I wish I had more time to explore. The pool looked phenomenal and was very empty...shocking for March. Lots of onsite dining including a Starbucks. The conference food was very good. My room was quiet, clean and spacious. Bathroom had a separate soaking tub which looked so inviting. I had a great view of the lake and pool. I do agree with other comments about the pillows (yikes, they were bad). I would absolutely love to come back. read more

As all JW Mariotts are, this hotel is beautiful with an abundance of amenities. It was surprisingly cold in Florida, about 40ish degrees when we stayed here, so we were unable to take advantage of the large pools and water slides. The hotel also has a very nice fitness center and spa area with an abundance of equipment, including a cryoban machine. (I did not use it. ) There is a kids lounge with video games and ping pong table inside, and billiards outside. It was empty and freezing! Me and my daughter didn't stay long. There are upscale restaurants on property as well as a Starbucks and café. The hotel is pretty spread out and it took us awhile to walk to the fitness center and the other kids club, located next door at the Ritz Carlton. The rooms themselves are average, with a separate bath tub from the shower, so that was nice. There is an Illy coffee machine and fridge, but no microwave. Self parking is crazy at $35 a night or 50 for valet!! There is a 55 dollar a night resort fee, but I feel like we should not have been charged that since it was too cold for the pools. The concierge went above and beyond to ensure us early check in and let us check in as early as 8 am. Our hotel package included the complimentary breakfast buffet in which they also honored the complimentary breakfast the day we arrived. The stay was quiet and heavenly. So much areas to just relax and sit from every view of the hotel. It was by far the best getaway and service I've experienced in a long time. Although I'm not a fan of Starbucks, you can walk to the Ritz Carlton from within the hotel (5 min walk) where we enjoyed First Drip the coffee shop located at the lobby of the Ritz. 5 star resort but 2 star hotel.. Hear me out! First, the resort is so beautiful with a great pool area, awesome bars and restaurants, and an impressive spacious lobby area, which, to me anyway, feels more elegant than the lobby at the Ritz Carlton next door (you can walk there to check it out). The staff is also amazing. The bell staff and the front desk staff were so friendly and amazing as well. The bell lady pointed out where you can watch fireworks at Sea World, Disney, and other parks. I think I counted 4 different firework displays off in the distance. Pretty neat. But OH BOY, the room wasn't great at all. First, the pillows... can we talk about pillows? For a "resort" hotel, these were some of the most lifeless pillows I have ever slept on. I had to fold it in half to support my giant bald head. And the bed wasn't great either. The quality of sleep here was sooooo bad. I can probably get a better nights sleep at a $39 motel on OBT. Then there's the shower... where the shower head points directly at the seam on the door, which makes a nice puddle around the toilet. It's like going to the bathroom at a water park where the floor is all wet and slippery. I shouldn't need goulashes to empty my bladder. Self Parking is terrible too. There's no clear path on how to get to the hotel from the lot. I feel like I was just walking on the road where I shouldn't be. Valet Parking is available. I would consider staying here again because the resort is so great, but for the price, I expected a much better in-room experience. Thank the staff for this not having a lower star rating. read more

My favorite local staycation or day pass resort in orlando ! I have come here for spa days, brunch and dinner , and occasional day or weekend stay. I love the white glove service of this resort. Rooms are gorgeous , pool has a lazy river, water slides and obstacles for all ages with pool side concierge service. The restaurant on site by the pool has wonderful food and drinks that even my little princess enjoys. There is ice cream carts and hair braiding services similar to the Caribbean. My little getaway is 5 star fabulous and I plan to spend a nice long weekend there soon ! read more

Hubs comes here a lot to do jobs and invited me the first time but I didn't want to use paid time off from work so when he had to revisit, he took me along on the trip to stay here. We were only staying here one night, which was not a big deal for me prior to visiting but this place is massive so I think I needed one more night/day to explore. The lobby is huge! Like Vegas style huge! There is a bar/ restaurant right outside the lobby area, which is super convenient. Once we got up to our room, again I was in awe because it was really spacious and nice. There is an even a fancy illy coffee maker! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was elegant. Since we arrived early, we had some time to explore after hubs did his work. We wound up walking to the Ritz side, which was a lengthy walk! It was really hot outside so we did not explore too much outside. We sat at the lounge at The Ritz and then walked back over to the JW side after the fireworks show!! We had dinner & drinks at the lobby bar but they close at 11pm, which sucks. It was packed! Hubs raved about the breakfast buffet when he stayed here in the past so we did that in the morning. It was one of the healthiest and fanciest buffets I have been to! Hubs has come here so many times after I stayed with him but the prices are so astronomical! Every staff member we encountered were so friendly, personable, and polite. read more

I've been coming to this hotel since the early 2000s, and I absolutely love it. Over the past 20+ years, I've visited with colleagues, family, and friends, and every stay has been a treat. The hotel is always comfortable, luxurious, and welcoming. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful lakes and gardens worth exploring, the many restaurants serve delicious food, but the real showstopper is the pool. This might be my very favorite lazy river. The lazy river is the perfect length, the gardens surrounding it are lush and beautiful, and the many pools along the way offer the perfect place to pull off for a float break. Their newly renovated cabana area is gorgeous, and the poolside food and drinks are consistently excellent. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed a fresh watermelon margarita (made with real watermelon juice!) and an incredible coconut sorbet served in a coconut. If you're here in the summer, don't miss the nightly fireworks at 9 PM. Watching them from the pool or lazy river is pure magic- one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a truly luxurious stay in Orlando. read more

Visited JW Marriott for the afternoon, as a way to get out of the scorching Florida sun and humidity. The hotel is massive and offers both valet and self-parking. To find the self-parking, head towards the JW Marriott Lobby entrance. Navigation can be a bit challenging, but the friendly staff will gladly point you in the right direction. The hotel has several pools, including a large water slide, a splash cove for the kiddos, and a lazy river for relaxing. Lounge chairs are first available, and they also offer various cabana rental options. With several restaurants on site, including a Starbucks and a poolside bars, there are plenty of quick bites, dinner, or drink options to quench your thirst or appetite. Overall, this was a pleasant experience, and will visit again. read more

Went to Orlando for a meeting. The JW Marriott Grande Lakes was the conference hotel. Overall a very good stay despite the frigid weather. Had two dinners courtesy of the conference host. The Mediterranean food was really great. Loved all of the Middle Eastern specialties. Grilled halloumi salad, hummus, sumac chickpeas, olives, farm fresh veggies. Delicious. Thank you to the server who brought us a fresh salad without the bacon (that was missed on the list of items on the menu.) The room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pools. Unfortunately, it was in the 30s-40s, so we did not use the pools. The resort fee was quite expensive at $55 a night and not exactly sure what it covered, but it was not housekeeping or parking. Parking was another $38 per night. There was a coffee pot in the room. Nice to make a cup of coffee or hot tea. Called a couple of times to get more coffee, water and fresh towels. They needed reminders. The JW Marriott is attached to the Ritz Carlton. Wandered to explore that property. Able to use the gym and spa as the properties have reciprocal benefits. Surprised that at such an upscale hotel, the resort fee seemed to not cover anything and that even when housekeeping was requested, it was not available. Would I stay here again? Only if it was covered for a meeting. Otherwise if I were paying, for the same price, I would stay at a Disney resort that allows early entry and free shuttles to the Magic Kingdom theme parks. read more

The property is beautiful and for a hotel that allows pets the room was pretty clean. One star for that. With the talk of renovations over the years, we were excited for this trip. I stayed there a while back and was excited to see what the improvements were. There was something in the room that caused us to be congested. Maybe a cleaning product. The room was small, dark and the walls were thin. However, the major deciding factor to cross this location off of our list was the parking. We were stuck at the gate in the dark with the room key not working. Front desk kept being dishonest that the attendant was about to open the gate and that the key was reset. About an hour later after a random vehicle was sitting behind us boxing us in for a while, the attendant finally answered. Seemed to have no idea about the details of us being stuck. Similar issue when leaving. Gate didn't work for us to leave. The lazy river also did not flow so you basically cannot be lazy and need to walk it or have someone push/pull you around. Also the layout of the lazy river encourages groups to gather in the path of the lazy river so again the flow is hindered and not exactly relaxing. More seriously there are large grates on the floor of the lazy river. Since tubing is not entirely efficient, we literally had cuts on our feet from the large raised uneven edges of the grates. To top it all off the Marriott vacation push was over the top annoying. It was a short vacation that felt more like work. Trying to avoid the Marriott vacation sales folks. The restrooms by the pool were gross with leaky toilet water on the floors. Room service was over the top delicious and accounts for the 2nd star. Food by the pool was quite a long wait although the kitchen might have just been overwhelmed. However, when the food came out it was not worth the wait. No plans to go back any time soon. A few points and parking removed for one night was offered. I haven't checked if either of those things happened because honestly it doesn't make up for travelling there and hoping for a wonderful experience only to realize it was not worth it. read more

Have stayed at this resort a couple of times. This is by far one of my favorite resorts to stay in with a lazy river. Have to watch for pricing and book accordingly, but it's the people, amenities, services, and everything else is absolutely beautiful. You are def paying for a top tier experience and worth it. Everything is picturesque and the environment is calm. Resort restaurants are amazing. Lots of farm to table food. Loved that there was a security to get in and out of the pool... made us feel safe. Was even able to bring our own cooler with sodas and snacks which was great to have on a hot summer day in Florida. Everything on resort property was walkable and easily accessed. Close to discovery cove and seaworld & pending traffic 20-30 mins from universal/Disney theme parks . Can't wait to stay back! read more

What a beautiful resort and place to rest, relax, and lay my head down after a long day of meetings and networking??? I had the pleasure of staying here during a work conference and was simply impressed by everything from the moment I walked in on a late Tuesday evening. Once I walked in, I was immediately soothed by the scent of lavender. The lobby is a welcoming space with a huge fountain and there were several staff members at the front desk ready to help me get checked in and settled in my room. The young lady that assisted me gave clear instructions on how to get to the elevator bank and a few quick instructions on how to get to Starbucks, dining options, the meeting space that my group would be utilizing, and amenities. My room was on the 19th floor with an amazing view of the properrhad a king bed that was comfy, a huge tv that where I could stream Netflix, a large desk area where I could setup my laptop and work, a nice sized round table and corner sofa to lounge. The bathroom was spacious and was amazing. There was a huge tub, nice sized shower with some wonderful smelling body wash, and it was just really nice. Ohhhh and it was quiet. I mean there were a ton of folks staying there (I mean I saw them every morning while I was heading to different meetings) and once I got to my floor it was just quiet in the hallways, couldn't hear any outside noice at all which made for an even more restful stay. I stayed for three days and had the chance to utilize the outdoor walking trail for morning walks which was really nice as it sat right on the lake and I had a chance to catch wildlife just hanging while I was out. The meeting rooms were spacious but super cold at times (so take your jacket with you) and the dining options were wonderful. The food provided was delicious and the catering staff were so kind. I could probably rave about this place forever but if you have a chance to come to stay for leisure or business, do it. You'll love every minute of it. read more

This 3 night stay was covered by employer, so I cannot comment on prices but I will give my experience. The staff were incredible! Whether it was getting my room key replaced due to my phone demagnetizing, to my wife receiving room service while I was away. We were well taken care of. The food at the event was great and again, the staff took care of everyone's needs. I only have two gripes. I am not a fan of hotels charging for parking and as a guest I don't want to hear about additional fees after I get checked in. I think this should be included in the base hotel fee. Offer a discount if no parking is needed. The second gripe is that we had leftover French fries in our mini fridge that no one cleaned. Does this mean our room didn't receive a good clean? We stayed here for my husbands work convention and enjoyed our stay overall. There were definitely some issues which we werent sure if they were event related or general issues. It took over 2+ hours for our luggage to be delivered up to our room, even when we arrived at 11AM. I had a massage and wanted to change before and had to run around the huge resort like crazy to try to track down my bag. I would have preferred to just take up my bag if I knew there would be a delay. The room was nice and large, with plenty of space to leave your bags. The bathroom in our particular room was cramped between the toilet and shower area but our friends room did not have the same issue. They leave a few box water for you in the room and they have a mini fridge you can use to keep things cold. There were a lot of onsite eateries but we didn't get to use a lot of it due to the convention. I will say there on sight event staff coordinating meals and the events were awesome! Such kind and helpful folk, we never felt like an issue. Knife Burger was tasty and so was the food at the Golf Club. The front desk staff did drive my husband to and from the course which was a nice touch. Our two other small issues - one was our sink kept backing up, even when we only used it to wash our hands. It almost seemed like sand was coming up through the pipes so either it was coming from another room or from the last guests. Another issue was when the convention would end and the elevator lines were long, they kept the stairs locked. We stayed on the 4th floor so it would have been easy to walk up two flights but I was really surprised when security had to be called in order to unlock a set of stairs - I feel like thats a fire hazard. Would definitely stay at this property again- it is gorgeous and has a nice pool with 3 great slides and a lazy river. Staff was kind but there were just a few hiccups down the way. read more

What went wrong? Absolutely Nothing! This place was a go to staycation for a long time and we ventured off and dated (stayed at other hotels) other hotels. Let me tell you, there is no place like home. Plus you get two for one at this location. Ritz Carlton is next door. Own you have more dining options and just so much fun. Lazy River, 3 water slides, kids water and play area, fitness center, ..... just remember it's okay to stay other places but you can always come home again. I am baaaaaaccccccckkkkk!! Absolutely beautiful hotel with excellent hospitality. Everything was so clean and the staff always made sure we were comfortable. The hotel has really incredible restaurants. We specially enjoyed Primo. There are so many conference rooms that this was perfect for our convention meeting. The pool area is huge and very well kept. The restaurant at the pool was delicious too. My only Minor discontent would be that we were trying to enjoy the lazy River in the pool but there were kids and teens running and jumping in the pool in the areas clearly marked "no jumping". They would throw balls and bump agains our floaters. I wish the hotel had staff that could prevent this from happening as it is a liability and a hazArd to other guests but the parents should really be the ones taking care of the kids. read more

It's challenging to review this resort because over the course of three nights and days there were many highs and many lows. Highs: - The resort is stunning. Its beautiful both during the day and and night, inside and out. The lush greenery around the pool, lazy river, and outdoor dining areas feels very luxe and tropical, and the view of the lake is just as pretty, especially at sunset. The lobby, with its tall ceilings, fountain, and lobby bar is also impressive. - The room was nice, with comfortable beds and an updated bathroom. Ours had lovely views of the pool, lake, and golf course, though seemed to be one of only a few without a balcony. - The summer fireworks on Saturday nights and for holidays are quite an excellent display, with great views from inside or outside the resort. Ours went ahead even with a slight drizzle, and we were able to watch from inside. - The pool, lazy river, slides, and water ropes course were all a blast. I could have spent ages in the lazy river and the raft-based slide was super fun. - Being connected to the Ritz gives you even more options for food, activities, and more. We primarily used the amenities at the JW because of its stellar pool, but we did walk over to the Ritz for dinner at their lobby bar and to watch the fire dancer. The truffle fries at the Ritz were fabulous. - The resort did the MOST for Memorial Day, with SO many extra activities and decorations, from the flowers to balloon arches to food trucks to bubbles to musicians. There was always something to do. Lows: - Every single square inch of the resort was LOUD. Most of the time it was due to screaming children, but every lobby or bar musician also seemed to be turned up to MAX VOLUME so you could hardly hear yourself think, let alone relax. At least one part of the hotel or hotel complex--maybe the Ritz lobby bar, for example--should have been reserved for adults only. There was simply no space where you could talk quietly without children running by, bouncing balls off walls, or worse. - The hotel really needed to enforce the no saving of pool loungers and no hoarding of lazy river inner tubes better. We were told by a staff member that we could remove towels from chairs if there were no personal belongings on them, but we shouldn't have to do that--it's incredibly awkward and uncomfortable and invites confrontation. It was rampant at this resort and there were times were there were no free pool chairs or inner tubes left. - There was a lot of miscommunication regarding transportation. Online, it says that the hotel offers a shuttle to Disney, Universal, and Sea World. We called to confirm because we were planning to visit Disney Springs one night for dinner and The Polynesian Resort another night. They confirmed there was a shuttle, but it only went to Epcot and Magic Kingdom--no problem, we thought, we'd take a bus or the monorail from there. When we arrived, there was a card in our room saying the shuttle needed to be booked 24 hours in advance. We went to the concierge desk to book the shuttle, it turns out that by shuttle, they meant a single bus each day at 8 AM. That certainly didn't work for us or our dinner reservations, so we ended up having to shell out $20 each way, each night in ride share costs. - The bathrooms, while visually pleasing, are poorly designed. There was a single hook on the back of the door and one barred towel rack and that's it. For a pool resort, you're going to need to hang swimming suits to dry. When you factor in towels for multiple people, multiple days of swimming suits, robes and/or clothes to change into, there's just no where to put anything. Why there's not three times as many hooks or one of those lines you pull to hang swimming suits, I don't know. Our shower also leaked out of the hinged door quite substantially so we always had to waste even more towels lining the area on the floor around the shower. It's also challenging to share a room when the bath, shower, sink, and toilet are all in the same room, but that's unfortunately common. read more

Excellent hotel with nice amenities and hard working staff. I was here for 3 nights for a convention on site. Hotel is staffed well and professionally managed. I noticed little things at the convention and just in general. Super clean with some shops, restaurants and a really nice pool. I had a couple small requests for my room maid and she handled quickly to perfection. Very pleasant. Also needed front desks help for a situation and it was handled very well. Restaurant a tad pricy, but... it's a JW near Disney. Overall a very nice property and I enjoyed my stay and had an excellent experience. Special thanks to Avery who was a Manager at front desk. The amenities are pretty spectacular. The breakfast on the ground floor was to die for. I also loved the pool with the slides and the bar. As far as the ambience goes, there are a lot of business types at the hotel. Sure, there are plenty of young people, but they aren't the Spring Break crowd. The hotel is family friendly, and I felt very comfortable here. A word of advice- book the restaurants in advance. We tried to book day of and it was impossible to eat dinner on the property. read more

Between the Yelp and Expedia reviews, I've recently noticed a big discrepancy in the satisfaction of reviewers. I'm happy to report, that after an extensive search for the perfect 3 night birthday getaway, the JW Marriott was on point. We opted for a basic King bed room and were pleased with the spaciousness, amenities and cleanliness. The front desk and every other crew member were personable and helpful. Restaurants were all top notch and offered a little something for everyone. Just a few minutes walk to the Ritz Carlton and several more culinary offerings. Personally, I thought the JW was a much more attractive hotel. So only a couple of issues...our credit card would go through every time we did it manually but would get rejected daily when the front desk updated our account. A little embarrassing and strange that we got no notifications or alerts from our high limit card. Secondly, there was a small child at the pool who insisted on unclothing completely and going in the pool. When I alerted our cabana host, nothing was done. I get the whole "the customer is always right" motto, but if the child would have defecated in the pool they would have had to (by law) drain the entire massive waterpark. The parents were completely clueless and scared of policing their child, even using negotiation tactics. Later on, the same family could be found in the main bar with their child crawling around and screaming (not a toddler either) Sad world we are living in. Overall, I would absolutely stay at this resort again. I thought the price was reasonable but when you add valet AND a resort charge you are looking at an additional $100/night. read more

The yoga was amazing and the food was delicious! Due to March Madness being in town, Tampa Bay was packed! Security was excellent! I would however recommend you stay at the Marriott across from the JW Marriott bc it's right on the water where you can sit outside and have lunch while enjoying the boats going by! Super sunny day, however super crowded Memorial Day Saturday. Sunday was more relaxing. The mojito was okaaay-ish it was really watered down. I didn't bother saying anything though nor did I order another one. Ordered 2 Chicken tender baskets which took about an hour given the amount of people that were here but I didn't want to go inside and sit down for a meal. Tasted pretty bland but it was just to get us through the afternoon. I'm sure on a less crowded day you'd get better drinks or food but I only ordered Saturday. I loved staying at this resort this August. It's next to the Ritz so it's a plus! The hotel is beautiful. The service is great. There's restaurants and even a Starbucks! Would never return. DISGUSTING. Water from pipes smells burnt. I smelled worse when getting out of the shower than before I went in. Staff were always pleasant & friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. Rooms were impeccible. Beds made tight as a drum. Rooms pretty quiet considering all the kids wound up on Disney & Dole Whip. Only burger location closed too early at 7 (even though signage said dinner). Downstairs restaurant Primo was nice. Just that one smelly thing I can get past, and would not go back. read more

My sister booked a magic show that was held at the JW Marriott Hotel. We had to head downstairs to where they set up the event space. Once we found the venue, we showed our tickets and were guided to our seats. The magic show was absolute perfection! I'm still blown away trying to figure out how Drew mesmerizes you from start to finish! Great intimate setting as there is NO bad seat in the house. We were in the front row and no matter what illusion or magic he performed up front & close, he leaves you in AWE! We had the privilege of meeting him and his beautiful assistant. They are very humble and down to earth. You could tell they really appreciate you being there. Drew captures every sense of the word magic and takes it to a whole new level keeping you guessing and wanting more. He thoroughly interacts with the entire audience with great humor and perfect stage presence. Plus his message of spreading love, joy, and happiness is infectious. Had another great stay at this fabulous hotel. One huge benefit is that it is connected to the Ritz Carlton so you are able to enjoy the amenities of both hotels. They have a really nice pool area with nice sized lazy river that's very nice. There's also a restaurant at the pool area that serves really delicious cheeseburgers with homemade pickles that we love. The service is always wonderful throughout this property. Checking in is always simple and easy. This time we stayed in room 5012 which is really nice with a cute seating area in the corner. The bathroom was gorgeous with a huge sinking tub. There are multiple restaurants and bars throughout the property as well as multiple pools. I had a great stay and we will definitely continue to come here. Oh, I also forgot to mention that there is a wonderful spa on property as well. read more

Very beautiful hotel with a great and convenient location. This is really a very comfortable and luxurious hotel. The property and the rooms are all very well kept. Loved the modern furniture and decor in the hotel rooms. The bed was very supportive and comfortable. Bathroom was very large, with nice sized tub to really soak after a long day. This place has some fantastic views as well. I was up close to the top, and could see miles away from my room. Service is excellent as well. From checking in to checking out, everyone I encountered was very courteous and friendly, very much befitting this hotel. Like some others said, the only slight inconvenience was parking. Self-parking is located some distance from the lobby, making for an inconvenient walk to and from your car if you need to grab something. But other than that, loved the hotel and would definitely come back again :) read more

I was here for a work meeting for a few nights and enjoyed my stay. The property is gorgeous and the pool layout is very nice for relaxing and bringing the whole family. There's even three waterslides that you can go down, which were really fun! The food catered by the hotel was OK but not what I would've expected. Additionally, there were no water fountains to be found on the property. When I asked the front desk, she directed me to a small drink booth behind the concierge desk, but it wasn't really convenient to coming and going to fill up my water bottle during the day. Minor detail, but it was a little annoying. Overall, this was great and the property is beautiful read more

I LOVED everything about this hotel , the staff was amazing , the room was beautiful and I loved the bathtub and bath salts ! Vegetarian options at the restaurants and by the pool . I love this place. What a find. Amazing resort. I always like JW Marriott's but this one is different as it has a a full blown resort with spectacular amenities for families. A tropical very large pool oasis with a big lazy river which is attached to about five big pools. Plenty of shade trees. Three Fun large water slides. A water obstacle course. Very fun for kids and adults. The hotel is beautiful and has great views. It is close to Disney and IDrive and Universal park. It has a couple pool bars with pool side service for food and drinks. Several interior restaurants from casual to upscale. The food we had in all locations including room service was good. The staff in all areas of the hotel were attentive, accommodating, and friendly. read more
