It's located right in front of the Florida Mall, so there was plenty of parking, but they also offered a valet service which was very helpful. I like that it is a 2-floor open concept so you still feel connected to what's happening downstairs, but you're able to break up the crowd a bit. I believe there were about 400 people in attendance and it never felt overly congested. I can definitely see this becoming a popular wedding and party venue and there are so many ways to get creative with the space and tailor it to your individualized needs. The food was exceptional. there was a buffet where the food was very good and for my vegetarian husband and me, two vegetarian dishes were served by a wait person at our table and it was absolutely delicious. It had to be special ordered in advance but there was no extra charge. The chef they have must be amazing to have served such a creative dish. We weren't told what it was so I can't say, but I'll post a photo of it. It was cooked perfectly. Parking was plentiful. the venue is on the second floor. There were two staircases plus an elevator that is located next to the rear of Foxtail coffee. This flying roller coaster with head-first, face-down inverted nosedive makes you feel like you're flying through the water just like a manta ray. For those that didn't want to ride, the Manta Aquarium has over 100 rays and thousands of colorful fish to view at a much slower pace. * Energy Saving Tip: SeaWorld Orlando has one of 6 solar powered Coca Cola vending machines in the world. The machine has 3 solar panels on top to power the mechanisms inside. We continued on to Shamu Stadium to have a memorable luncheon at Dine With Shamu. Located on the backside of the stadium, guests can enjoy sustainable seafood, organic coffee, and items that promote environmental responsibility. This lunch was a little special as the chefs gave us a culinary journey through the park via the buffet, allowing them to try a lot of different menu items from inside the park all in one place. Choices included lobster mac n' cheese, barbeque ribs and brisket, Latin American and Asian inspired dishes, salads, sides, and desserts. Each table also had the privilege of dining with an animal expert while watching the orcas train. After lunch, we headed back to Ports of Call to get up-close and personal with some very rare animals. A baby tamadura (lesser anteater) eating meal worms from a tube. You can see how their tongue is used to get into small holes in order to retrieve small bugs. The tiny screech owl looks like a baby at about the size of your hand, but she's fully grown. A regal bald eagle and crested caracara pose for photos. Two toed sloth lovingly holds on to her trainer and lackadaisically views everyone upside down.

Unfortunately, Seymour got a little case of stage fright though... but it's OK :). I'm not sure if they handled the food, but it was quite good. They even shared Shamu Bars with us - gotta love it! Love SeaWorld, love their people, and now love their conference facility too! Would be a great place to handle any corporate event!

**1 Star**…read more Unfortunately, our experience with Diamond Event Venue for my sister's quinceañera was very disappointing. From the beginning, we repeatedly asked about the decorations and what would be included with the package we paid for. We were consistently told to look at their Instagram and were told that we would discuss the decorations about three months before the event. When we finally met to discuss everything, we were surprised to find out that many of the decorations we wanted would cost extra, even though the package we originally chose included the venue and decorations. We understand that additional decorations can have an additional cost, but we were not given clear examples of what decorations were actually included in our package. We also felt pressured to upgrade to another package that we did not want. In the end, we paid more for the decorations we wanted. Unfortunately, the decorations on the day of the quinceañera did not look anything like what we expected or what we had discussed. We specifically wanted large, beautiful bows and even sent pictures showing the size and style we wanted. What we received were very small balloon bows that looked extremely cheap compared to what we paid for. For such an important event, this was very disappointing. Another issue was the way the owner interacted with our guests. We were told that she needed to be at the venue the entire time, which we completely understood. However, she sat directly in front of the entrance for most of the event with a very unwelcoming attitude. Several of our guests commented that they felt uncomfortable and judged by her and her employee. We even offered them food and drinks because we wanted everyone working the event to feel comfortable and welcomed. Things became even more frustrating when we were told there were more guests than we had paid for. We were repeatedly told that people kept coming through the doors. This was not accurate. We had several teenagers and children who were going outside to look at sport cars and then coming back inside. They were already part of our invited guests. Everyone had a seat, and no one was standing because there were not enough seats. When the dancing started, everyone was seated and enjoying the event. Despite this, our security deposit was withheld because of the claim that we had more guests than we paid for. We strongly disagree with that claim and do not believe it was a fair reason to keep our deposit. We have rented from **Imperial Design Hall** in the past, and our experience with them was completely different. They were amazing, professional, and we never had any issues with them. **I 100% recommend Imperial Design Hall.** The only reason we chose Diamond Event Venue this time was because we wanted something closer to us. Looking back, we should have just driven the extra distance and stayed with a venue that we already knew was professional and reliable. This was supposed to be a very special day for our family, and unfortunately, dealing with this venue added unnecessary stress. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Diamond Event Venue. If you are considering booking with them, make sure you get everything regarding your package, decorations, additional charges, guest count, and security deposit clearly documented in writing before your event.

In January of this year I did a complete shift! I started planning for a big 2027. I was told the most influential people are at golf courses. Well, I called a very good friend who happens to be a very good golfer and was invited to come to the PGA in Florida! Who would turn down the PGA? PGA tickets at Arnold Palmer range from regular tickets being $100 to the Orange Grove option which was a luxury package including all-inclusive food and beverage and clubhouse access. Two-day packages (Thursday and Friday or Saturday and Sunday) started at $2,000, while the full-week four-round package STARTED at $3,500. Arnold Palmer is well maintained and super swanky! I was able to talk to the volunteers and was shocked to learn that they volunteer to help run these events. Talk about Sports LOVERS! Geeeez! And they have done it for years! The golf course is huge! I had no idea that women wear sneakers to this event. I was there looking girly with designer sandals and a sundress and felt out of place. Ladies: come comfortable, you will be walking. Even VIPS walk. Save your designer shoes, this place is a golf course, full of dirt and plush green grass. Rookie mistake! Overall, loved this event. Didn't eat the food even though it was provided! See you next year!
