The space is large, airy, and filled with numerous seating areas for congregating with peers. It is conveniently located near various other spots downtown, in particular City Arts, which hosts an opening art exhibit on the 3rd Thursday of every month at their galleries. So, you can usually continue your art walk at Eola View (which is how I initially found out about the events they host). I've also learned it is a great co-working space, making it great for networking and small corporate events. So, that's always a good thing to keep in mind for us corporate girlies/fellas. They do have a full-service bar as well, public restrooms, service stairs, and one service elevator (which is a little slow, but in all honesty, what elevator in DTO is NOT SLOW). All in all, the space is LOVELY. I overly love their "Champagne Bar" area (because I OVERLY LOVE The Champagne Bar in Tampa at the Oxford Exchange). It is great for pictures and wedding receptions (as well as various other gatherings). So, I am a BIG FAN of Eola View, and I look forward to attending more events in the future.

The catering staff we spoke to were very kind and answered all of our questions. Beautiful location, easy parking and your permitted to set up a few hours before the event. The white linens and the tables were set up before we arrived. All tableware and cutlery were included - very clean and well kept. The catering for the brunch was top notch. Plating was beautiful. The mimosa bar was great. Food was attended to and tables were cleared continuously. The drink attendant was sweet and on point even when guests swarmed the station. We were permitted to blue tooth our own playlist and it made the event more personable. A podium and microphone were provided and set up upon arrival. Unfortunately, the person who handled the actual event planning via email/phone was not organized, attentive to our requests and somewhat rude. We had to go back and forth over and over to get everything straight. Things were added and taken away that were not requested. I understand maybe she was trying to upsell but it was an unexpected hassle. Without explanation, she advised she did not even look at our initial request form?? which laid everything out clearly. We only ordered 3 things. She informed us that she had multiple events over multiple locations - seemingly the reason ours was problematic. She repeatedly referred to our event as a bridal shower (which also ended up on our confirmation form that had to be fixed). Poor thing, it seemed like the job was too much for her to keep up with. Glad it was not a wedding I was planning. On the day of the event, during our scheduled time to decorate, an event person? (female) walked a group thru our room and was speaking VERY LOUD - LOUD - LOUD to talk over the music (Dubsdread was playing before we blue toothed our playlist) and to talk over everyone who was involved in the set up process. It was rude. Our event organizer was giving instructions and this person was talking over everyone in a stern voice without apology like our presence was annoying her? We had to schedule our initial walk thru, etc. so I don't understand why she would do that during our event OR schedule an overlap during that time. It was NOT professional NOR kind. Overall experience - great! loved it. The historical beauty of the place, the wonderful catering people and food made up for the (2) people so I would recommend this venue but use the info I provided to make your experience better than mine. :)

Shanna met with us a few times during the planning process and explained everything that would happen if it rained...which it did. I am someone who worries about every outcome. This was one thing I did not have to worry about. The staff changed the reception space to an amazing inside ceremony space in 15 minutes! That is truly incredible! All of the guests kept saying that this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to! I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants an intimate wedding! The music featured was Bridgerton Inspired. It was an amazing experience that transports you to a place that makes you feel like you are at Bridgerton. My friend and I dressed up to be a part of the theme. Many people were dressed for the occasion which added to the fun. You can pay to have pictures taken in a certain corner with many candles. They also let you record during the last song played and take pictures afterwards with your own camera. I've already bought a ticket to see another one this week, which features Adele's music. My friend is an Instagram influencer and thought this might be worth a look but I told her to pass.... If they hire some workers and put some more effort in, it has potential. Candlelight: A Tribute to Adele - September 2023…read more Walking into the venue felt magical. The candlelit setting was beautiful, romantic, and unlike any other concert experience I've attended. Unfortunately, my date chose that evening to start an argument, which put a damper on what should have been a wonderful night. Even so, the atmosphere and performance were memorable enough that I still look back on the experience fondly. I hope to have a chance for a do-over someday and enjoy the concert the way it was meant to be enjoyed. It truly is a special experience. Before the show, we stopped by the brewery next door. This has always been a well organized event and it seems they have really enhanced the offerings. There was several ways to get fresh hot food. We went on a Saturday night and they had several different stations open and a lot of choices. We went with the shish kabob and Greek fries. Always a good choice! I saw another line with more dinner favorites. They even had multiple ways to get dessert. One place was cranking out donuts and hot dessert while the market had a long traditional bakery counter packed with goodies. Speaking of the market besides the bakery they had an area where you could take home "heat and eat" family sized entrees and soup. They even had inexpensive cooler bags for people like me who love a "home" cooked meal. They had lots of other food for sale. I bought a bunch of Greek oregano, blocks of cheese and some olives. They had jewelry of all prices and even a mini rummage sale. I left my husband watching the entertainment while I shopped but I did not feel bad. There was a lot of traditional dancing and a band. My favorite was when they dimmed the lights and women danced with candles. It was beautiful. Since this is a popular event, parking is offered several ways and they provide a shuttle. I paid the $5 for close parking and was able to find a spot just steps from the entrance.
