The business is attached to a mall and due to the bright crayons colors it was reasonably easy to find. Parking was free and easy with a lot of spots nearby. We arrived mid week and there was no line. Not sure if there is more of a hustle on the weekend. There are a few things to do such as a label experience, a drawing experience, and a crate gym. Food is similar to a movie theater (popcorn and candies). Staff was kind & patient. I don't think it was worth $30 per person for one day. But it is worth $40 for an annual pass. SERVICE: The service was OK. There was nobody outstanding except for one young lady. Her name was Morgan and she was incredibly sweet and relaxed, and helped out anybody who needed it. The rest of the staff seemed to not know what they were doing and we're a bit nervous when I asked a question. I'm thinking it's because all of their staff is very young, but I didn't feel as if I could rely on the staff to resolve any issues or answer questions by themselves without having to contact another person to help them answer it. SELECTION: This place is very stimulating, so know that ahead of time. There are a lot of hands-on activities that kids can engage with from making their own crayons to painting small images with melted crayons turned into wax, drawing pictures, and other little activities throughout the place. Every family should know that this place is very stimulating and there are kids everywhere and it's like a big giant open space with different sections or area areas for different activities. My kids are 2 and 5 years old and we had such a blast exploring the Crayola Experience! The line to get in was ~20mins long, but once we got in there was SO much to explore. Lots of crafts to make out of different materials, customizable coloring pages, and fun activities for kids of all ages. Our kids loved the drip art, scribble scrubby area, chalk section, and crayon molds. Between crafts, they got their energy out in the playground areas (there are 2 age-based climbing structures). There is also a snack/beverage counter in the middle. We spent 2 hours here and there was still a lot we didn't get to explore (but kiddos needed a nap). We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday again this year, we checked in at the front and headed upstairs and to our surprise as soon as we walked in it was hot! We already had drove out so we stayed for a while, but it was getting to the point where we were sweating. We did talk to one of the employees and asked what was going on with the AC and they said that it was running, but wasn't strong enough for the heat wave that is currently happening in Florida. This place is a lot of fun for the most part getting to make crayons playing at the play places all kinds of activities for the little ones. We went with teens 13 to 16 thinking we would be there for two hours tops. Have seen this in the Florida Mall so many times and a holiday deal was going on and we decided to finally do it. Its definitely geared toward kids and was sort of like a playground for them. With your admission you get to make some melted crayon art, a crayon wax figurine, name a crayon after yourself amd they do spots where you can take selfie and it prints out coloring pages. Oh and you get a free scrub critter, I forgot what its called but basically a little cat or dog and you can color on it and then it washes off like new. The annual pass is a really good value for just a little more than the price of a regular admission ticket. I like the colorfulness of the place as well as different play areas. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the Crayola Experience. We were a party of six adults and two children and yes, the adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids. We pre-purchased our admission online and had a discount code to save 25%, which is a great bonus. Check-in was a breeze, they gave us a bag with our tokens and a scavenger hunt form and then we proceeded upstairs to all the activities. We all used one of our tokens to create a personalized wrap for a crayon in the color of our choice. We then watched a video on how crayons were made, which was very interesting. Other activities included creating personalized coloring sheets, making a crayon in different shapes like a car or emoji and spin art. It was decorated in a Halloween theme and there was a scavenger hunt however we did not do it. There is a small café with light bites, we got a large pretzel, no one enjoyed it, I think it was supposed to be soft and it was not. We spent about two hours at Crayola, but could've spent more. And of course, we exited through the gift shop which has a lot of colorful and unique Crayola items. Although the twins enjoy going there, they don't do all activities. I am sure they will enjoy more in a couple of years. What a great experience! I went by myself because I had a few hours to spare before my flight, I went and a ticket cost about $30. With it you get two token that you can use to redeem a crayon and customize the paper that goes around it and a free scribbler. This place is geared more towards children but as a twenty something adult woman I would say that I enjoyed my time there. They even have a place to sit down and eat, meet the characters and a lot more! If you have kid kids aged 10, need to get out of the house but out of the heat, this is a perfect place. There is a ton to do here. I easily stayed 2 hours but could've done 2 more. $27 (if you pay online) for ages 3+ but $40 for annual pass. All the workers I interacted with there were very kind. After paying, they give you two tokens to spend on various items and a bag to hold all your goodies. You can always buy more tokens too. Strollers are allowed. You can also park them upstairs. There are elevators and stairs. Place to pick a crayon and name it any color you want (e.g. on a blue crayon named "Heather's Pretty Blue Eyes"). These take 1 token per crayon. They have shows throughout the day with a schedule posted. Playground for 2-4 years. My 18 month old went on and was fine. And a bigger playground for the big kids. Tablets to create characters. Multiple photo booths with backgrounds and ones where you look drawn. Snack, food court. Create a selfie. Color an animal figurine. Design a car or outfit to be modeled on the screen. Area for tracing/texture rubbing. Area where kids play with an interactive projector screen on the floor. There was an area that was closed when we came on a Thursday and curiosity is killing me. I hate leaving reviews like this. My wife and I took our daughter here on her birthday while on vacation during a rain storm. My wife saw something stating free entry on a childs birthday. We were looking forward to an enjoyable experience. Upon entering we waited in line for our turn to buy tickets. When it was our turn we approached the counter were two employees were working. One employee rudely asked us how many tickets. When my wife inquired about about what she had saw the employee asked for proof that it was our childs birthday such as a birth certificate or an identification card. My wife informed that our child was three and the employee said it does not matter we needed to provide proof of her date of birth. My wife and I went a head and bought the three tickets to get in. They do not have child prices or at least that is what the rude employee stated. So it was $30 a person before taxes just to enter. so after taxes is was close to $100 just to enter. After purchasing the tickets we had to get checked by security and then another lady (the two politest people working) was handing out bags with two tokens and a slip to exchange for a small animal type toy to color on. it was about the size of a small toy from Mcdonalds. The tokens could be used for a few small Crayola items from small machines. Upstairs was where all the activities were. There was a wide variety of things for kids to do but it was all disorganized and chaotic how things were ran. Most employees working did really not seem to know what they were doing or at least made it seem that way. Also, a lot of activities were closed because it was not a weekend. I was thinking it is summer and school is out so why not have them open. Plus, it was extremely busy. While upstairs we went to the concession stand since the little restaurant area was closed. The employee working the concession stand had no clue what she was doing. she was burning popcorn and serving it to customers. The hot dogs were not cooked and the pizza slices were cold. This is a great rainy day activity for little kids who need to get wiggles out and parents who want an indoor space when it is too hot or storming out to take your kiddo. If we lived here, I could purchase the annual pass and get a lot of use out of it. June 2023 while in the Orlando area on vacation, Kayla and I took Deacon to the Crayola Experience. It was so cheerful! So many Happy Bright Colors that always brings joy to me. Deacon enjoyed all the sections and stations. He was able to create his own Crayon labels, Play with paints, markers and clay. We are locals to Orlando and love coming here we bought an annual pass. While the regular visits are great, the seasonal visits during Halloween and the holidays are even extra special. This attraction is more of a cross between entertainment and a science museum. It is very fun for kids and families alike. The earlier you get there, the less busy it is. Pro tip, this space is pretty far from the dining pavilion at the mall so I recommend having a bite with your family before you get there. I took my 9 year old daughter there this past week and was surprised just how many different things we did. A very creative experience that she loved. She had been there with her class, but it was my first time. She seemed to be just as engaged as if it was brand new. We took pictures, videos, created shark crayons, named colors and made our own personalized crayons and much more. I enjoyed it as an adult and she was over the moon with the place. My son loves Crayola Experience! We recently got annual passes for our family. It's not much more expensive than a one day ticket and it's good all year long with no black out dates. I also like that it is indoors so it's something we can do when it is hot or raining. The center is located in the Florida Mall, and there is a lot of traffic in this general area. Thankfully they have the entire mall parking lot so there is no problem with parking during non holiday times. They give you a nice hard copy membership card to keep for each member. My husband forgot his one day and they printed a new one for him. That was very much appreciated! Once you have your membership card, you can bypass the ticket line and go straight to security where they scan your card. At the entrance, you receive a plastic bag with two silver coins and one ticket to get a scrubby pet each time you enter. The silver coins can be used for a marker, clay, or personalized crayon. The personalized crayon is the coolest because you can stamp it with your name or any other text. There are a lot of activities for kids here. Two indoor playgrounds, coloring areas, spin art, create a molded crayon, and a short animated show in their theater. The scrubby pet is basically a small white animal toy that can be drawn on with a marker. There are some creative digital activities to do as well. They have two food options but only the small concessions stand has been open during the times we have visited. They serve hot dogs, pizza, snacks, drinks, etc. The food prices are extremely high for what you pay for. Crayola Experience is a fun place to go for kids who like to be creative! read more

For a kids focused location, as a young adult, i honestly had fun. There were obviously more activities for kids than for all ages. The only things i was able to do as an adult was make my own crayon, put a silly selfie on the wall, do drip art for an extra fee, and create a picture that i could color, color on some premade pictures, and enjoy the gift shop. To note: If you are arriving from a different state or need something to do before your flight, they have a backroom to store your suitcase and other belongings. This location is in the Florida Mall and they have their own entrance and parking lot. You also save $3 when purchasing your ticket online. Originally $28.99, becomes $25.99. I wanted to love this experience, but there just wasn't much to do and it was way overpriced for the activities available. I went with a 3 year old, and this definitely isn't the place for small kids, unless you're ok with saying "no" a lot and then dealing with the ensuing tantrums. They nickel and dime for all of the premium activities on top of having an already inflated cost for entry. I paid for two admissions, even though my child was too young to participate in and understand half the activities, and I was too old to be engaged.
