The reviews are a 3.2 because the owners are just keeping this place open BARELY , the playground is really the only thing that looks true to photos, the play area is run down, the market was just chaotic and taken apart from prior kids (strange because when I brought my infant into the only area he could really play , the employees were cleaning it up @7:30) They really should've been in the other areas because it's a messsssss Also while they were tidying up they were wearing crocs in the toddler area where most toddlers put their mouth on EVERYTHING. If you happen to have a layover while visiting Orlando, you can extend your vacation with kids' fun by visiting Kidiverse. It is fun for the whole family. Furthermore, it is close to the Orlando Airport as well as hotels. My son was in Orlando when his flight to Chicago was canceled. They found Kidiverse and that is how they entertained the family with the extra day in Orlando. As the grandmother of the family, I tagged along and joined in on the fun. The whole family was entertained on that extra day of vacation. Activities are diverse. There are lots of slides, mazes, and even a little town with a diner, school, house, etc. that are the kids' sized. My grandson enjoyed playing air hockey. The restaurant, although closed when we were there, was equipped for parties. If you have young children, I highly recommend Kidiverse. read more

Well most pictures circulating are old as the place has been allowed to deteriorate and has been poorly maintained. The big catch is all entrants need to buy socks.... You can't be allowed access as a guardian with your own socks it must be their socks which mimic hospital surgery socks. So a 2 year old with his parents is $35.00. This place is awesome. We had a play date with a 2 yr old, 12 yr old and 8 yr and there was something for everyone! They have a huge indoor playground, an interactive game room with a motion sensor fitness gaming, a ninja warrior style course including climbing wall and a snack bar. Kids stayed engaged for hours, lots of different things to do. Great way to burn off some steam if you're in this area. read more

This place was not at all what I thought. I had my almost 2 year old granddaughter, I paid $24 & some change for her admission and socks for me. There was lots of toys but most was broken or needed batteries. The toys appeared to need a good cleaning as well. I wasn't crazy about her touching everything but I did wipe her hands very well when we left. She liked it but the area that I felt needed the least attention & the least fixing was the basketball area. Even though she was too little for this, her & I had a good time throwing & kicking the balls into the nets. My child came here for a 4 year old birthday party a few weeks ago and has not stopped talking about this place since - so we returned for a few hours to play on a rainy day (Wednesday afternoon). It wasn't too busy, but it was clean and lots of things for kids to play with/on. There are party rooms upstairs, two interactive game rooms, a music area with instruments, dress up costumes, arcade games, slides, a kidi town, a ninja course, and more. The snack area is not much, but there are a few things if you're desperate. There are signs that say you are not allowed to bring in any outside food or drink, so be prepared. There were several hand sanitizers and Covid-19 signs throughout the facility. This place requires grippy socks, and if you come without some, you can purchase them on site for $3.50 each. For about $18, your kid can come and go and play all day, so it's perfect for people traveling to the airport since it's conveniently located minutes from MCO who have hotel check outs at 11am but don't fly out until later in the evening and need some place indoors for their kids to get the wiggles out. read more

We recently visited this indoor play center and wanted to share a safety concern for other parents, especially those with younger children. The slides had very high friction -- to the point that adults and children were getting stuck or stopping abruptly instead of sliding smoothly. Staff mentioned that they don't wax the slides, which I understand can be unsafe, but the slides in their current condition stop you suddenly mid-slide. It's not just isolated to the open slide, but also the closed slide. What made this more concerning is that the facility requires everyone to wear their own non-slip socks (outside socks are not allowed). The grip material on the bottom of the socks, combined with the high-friction slide surface, caused my heels to catch hard on the slide. While going down with my child, I stopped suddenly and nearly pitched forward. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but I stopped using the slides after that. The issue isn't the socks alone or the slides alone -- it's the combination of mandatory grip socks and slides that don't allow a smooth descent. This creates a foreseeable fall risk, especially since adults are allowed to assist children on the equipment. I'm sharing this to warn other parents and to encourage management to reassess this setup. Allowing alternative socks for slides (other places in Orlando don't force this), improving slide surface performance by replacing the slides that were damaged from improper chemical cleaning that has caused increased surface adhesion, or finding a way to repair them. Waivers don't prevent injuries -- proper maintenance and policies do. Also a waiver doesn't prevent you from being sued from gross negligence, which is what this is when you combine both forced non-skid socks with a malfunctioning slide. This place is for 2-8 year olds, most older kids don't care and would go elsewhere. Get rid of the basketball court And put a ball Pit for the kids. Also the sliding rails above the basketball court don't slider it's a waste of space. Fix them or remove it. Overall, the space is fun, but I hope they take this feedback seriously before someone gets hurt. read more

I took one step inside and I knew something wasn't right. I would compare this to Monkey Joes - it's a spot for kids to play indoors and for birthday parties. But that's where the similarities end. Kidiverse is filthy. They need to replace their floors with a darker color as they appear permanently stained. They have mini buildings where kids can run a restaurant, work in a firehouse or a hospital. A really cute idea. But they don't have staff replacing toys kids inevitably move to another area. So these spots appear sparse and abandoned. They make even the parents pay for nonslip socks. The issue isn't our shoes - it's their floors. We left in less than 20 minutes as my 8 year old was just grossed out. Now that's saying something. Avoid. read more

We have been wanting to come here for so long and I'm so happy we finally made it in. This place exceeded my expectations. You really can't even imagine how much there is to do for kids. It really is a kid universe. I wish I had something like this as a kid. They have a huge play place with slides, a basketball court, a baby area, ninja course, interactive game play, rock climbing, a play kitchen, grocery store and so much more. They also have a cafe with food and drinks for sale. The prices are fair, the establishment is very clean and the staff are all very friendly. My reason for 4/5 stars was the lack of air conditioner. It was very hot inside and almost felt like there was no air. My son didn't seem to mind but I was feeling hot. Overall it was an amazing experience and we look forward to returning. read more

I've been here numerous times as I'm a local. First, it's super entertaining and they've added even more areas for kids to play (basketball count and multiple floors up). For the price and you can go in and out, it's so worth it. That being said, if you come in the afternoon, expect it to just be chaos. None of the toys are where they should be and it looks like your living room after a play date. Last time I went there were kids being unsupervised and mishandling toys. When I mentioned it to one of the workers, he did something right away. Gerald was his name I think. He was walking about which helps but some other employees didn't seem to monitor much. It's expected that the parents watch their kids behavior. The food and snacks are meh but the playing areas have always been a huge hit with my son. The bathroom was filthy -- no soap or paper towels in the handicap stall, and one of the door locks was broken. I even asked the staff up front for a paper towel, and the guy had nothing and didn't even try to help. Many of the toys were broken or falling apart, and everything looked dirty. This place is falsely advertised, poorly managed, and not safe or clean for kids. I will never come back and definitely don't recommend it to anyone. read more

One star for the idea of the place. It could be incredible, and we were so excited to bring our three and four year old to this "pretend play/ creative play" business. Unfortunately the little town with the market and diner and fire house etc were not only dirty but lacking the toys that make pretend play fun. The supermarket had absolutely nothing in it. (See pictures below.) The employee reminded me that it was a big play area that kids didn't have to clean up and may. Have taken things to different areas. She said they clean it up at the end of the day. We have similar things where I live. I didn't expect it to be perfect. But I do expect employees to make sure there are things to play with in the special areas. This is a big deal for little kids! We spent somewhere around $60 for our two children and all 4 pair of socks. After seeing the entire place and quickly realizing there was nothing to engage my children, we asked for a refund. They refunded everything except for our socks which you must purchase whether or not you have socks on. Will not be back. But thought this was a great alternative to a hot day at an amusement park. We had some time to spare before we checked out of one hotel and checked into another and this place was super close by so we decided to give it a shot, also it was raining that day, so it was perfect. The front lady said it was the policy,once inside, I saw that the toys were all over the place and looked to me not cleaned or sanitized. This was our first time at kidiverse with a small group of friends and it did not disappoint. I don't know if it was the day or time we went, but we were practically the only people in there for the 4 hours we played. There are plenty of things for the kids to do including a little play town, ninja course, music and dress up, basketball, and the ultimate play gym! Our kids had the BEST time! The place seemed clean and nothing was broken except what seemed like the AC when we first got in. When we asked the front desk person to turn it down, he politely obliged and we were able to be nice and cooled off from the 90 degree weather outside. Couple of notes before coming here, you DO NEED TO PURCHASE THEIR SOCKS-Parents included (although i find that completely unnecessary). I took my 2 and 4 yo boys today and they absolutely loved it. The place wasn't as sterile as the science center, but it was pretty much like any indoor children's activity place we've been to. I've been to monkey joes twice and both times I was completely disgusted...I really don't understand the comparison to kidiverse. Dark floors just mean you can't see what's there.. The staff wasn't walking around cleaning up after my kids, but we usually do that when we go to places like this anyway..I don't make other people clean up after my kids. It wasn't even an expectation of mine. I thought it would be a bigger building, but there was so much for them to do and see when we got inside. I wasn't thrilled to pay $3.50 for socks for everyone, but she told us we can keep bringing them back with us, so it's not so bad. My boys loved jumping and climbing through the tunnels and nets. The rope wall and ninja warrior area were their favorites. They open much earlier than other children's places too, which was really nice! We're a family with 4 kids, we paid for 3 (ages 8,89) to play and it was over $70. Adults are required to purchase their anti slip socks even if we aren't participating in play. They allege the floor is slippery. It is not. I took off my sock and walked on it just fine. The floor tile is no different than the floors at stores like Walgreens, CVS, Ross, etc. There is nothing. Slippery about this floor; my sneakers or my own socks would've handled it just fine. It's clearly just a way for them to make more money. At defy, parents that aren't participating don't need to wear the socks; should be the same here. There weren't many pictures online and we drove a ways to get here so we decided to give it a chance. I have posted several photos so others have a better idea of what they're getting. This place opened about a month ago and there's already a lot that is broken or out of order. The piano, drums, and mix in the music area are broken. There's one of those claw machines to earn prizes, it's broken. There's a basketball hotshot, the score buzzer thing and the net is broken. Things shouldn't be broken if they just recently opened. Our 12 year old didn't find it entertaining. She said it looked like a daycare but the parents have to watch their own kids. The wall climbing stations are very short, just slightly taller than the wall in my home. The younger kids enjoyed it but they also enjoy plain-old FREE playgrounds outside. For the price, I would not come again and I wouldn't recommend anyone. We could've gotten a Groupon for Defy for all 4 kids for about $50 and they would've all had a blast. read more

We went here because our 23 mo. old loves places like this and we were in the area. He had a blast! There our activities/toys for crawlers through late elementary age. They do require everyone in your party to buy their nonslip socks, adults included. There were definitely a lot of kids there, but it didn't seem like it was overcrowded. There are cubbies to put your shoes in by the door. I would prefer lockers with a lock for security, but many people utilized the cubbies. I would definitely bring my toddler back again. read more

Extremely Disappointed and Appalled by Both Cleanliness and Customer Service I was looking forward to revisiting Kidiverse after having moved farther away, but this recent experience was nothing short of disastrous. To start, the facility is just filthy. From the moment I stepped in, the floors were visibly stained and sticky, and the entire place felt rundown and neglected. Toys were scattered everywhere, many broken, dirty, or missing entirely from their designated play areas. The family bathroom was in an unacceptable state--liquids on the floor, toilet paper strewn about, and an overwhelming sense that basic hygiene is not a priority here. Kidiverse, you desperately need to invest in a deep clean and better management of your space. However, what really made this visit horrendous was an incident involving another parent and, shockingly, the owner of the establishment. My 10-year-old daughter, who is tall for her age, was playing with her cousin when she lost her balance and accidentally touched another child. The father of that child immediately jumped to the conclusion that my daughter--a girl--was a boy and had acted inappropriately. Rather than approach us as parents, he decided to confront and yell at my daughter directly, accusing her of something she did not do. His assumptions were offensive, and his behavior toward a child was utterly unacceptable. What made this situation even worse was the owner, who clearly knew this male parent personally, stepping in to take his side without even attempting to hear our side of the story. Despite the male parent later admitting that he had overreacted, the owner still chose to insult my daughter, asking about her mental health, as if she was on the spectrum, when the only thing "different" about her is that she's tall. Such a comment was not only inappropriate but degrading. I did express my frustration, and yes, I did use strong language in my anger, including the word "fuck." However, the situation absolutely warranted it. My daughter was unjustly targeted by an adult male based on false assumptions, and instead of mediating or reviewing the situation through their security cameras, the owner immediately sided with his friend or acquaintance. Had I chosen to involve the police, both the male parent and the establishment would be facing far more serious consequences for their actions. To anyone considering a visit to Kidiverse, I would strongly advise against it. The place is filthy, poorly managed, and the customer service is appalling. When management chooses favoritism over fairness and professionalism, and children are mistreated based on assumptions, that is not an environment I can support. I will never return, and I recommend you save your time, money, and energy by avoiding this place at all costs. read more

We had 6 whole hours to kill near MCO, between dropping off family and picking up more family at the airport. My kids are 6 and 8 and I chose this place because it was close and seemed the easiest. The price seemed steep at first, and you do have to purchase socks for $3.99 each (can use if and when you return) but since we spend almost 5 hours total inside (with a break for dinner) it was totally worth it. It isn't Disney world but there's stuff for every type of kid -- even a reading corner, where my 8 year old spent reading for 30 minutes. Most of the stuff is ideal for age 2 through 8 or 9. The workers were totally friendly and nice, I appreciated them. The music is loud and kids Christian praise pop, definitely a vibe lol but it was fine. My kids had a great time and we survived our long layover day in Orlando. Would definitely return. read more

The actual playground was okay, but what our kiddos loved the most was the rear with the market, diner, school, etc. They enjoyed it for much longer than I thought they would. It's nice that there are two lounge chairs. The place was pretty empty on a Friday afternoon which probably made it more enjoyable. The sock policy is a scam. The lady at the front desk said they require everyone to purchase the socks to keep the floors clean, but the floors are very dirty. Socks come out black. Additionally, it was annoying to smell intoxicating Clorox all over the bathroom area. I wouldn't leave those water buckets out in the middle of the day when kids are roaming. Sure you have to pay for socks but if you keep them, you can use them again and won't have to pay for them. My boys had a blast here!! We've gone a total of 3 times and plan to go again.
