Okay, so plan B turned out really well, and overall I am happy with my experience. They have been in the same location for 20 years, and they are extremely clean. Most times I'll notice dust or cobwebs in the corners at most salons I go to, but they were so clean. I even asked about their pedicure procedures and how they sanitized, so I know I'll get one there one day. This definitely is a mom and pop shop that stays busy because of their regulars, and they know your name, which is refreshing when going to a nail salon. This is a place that prides themselves on their product, and they take care of everyone they can. I definitely suggest calling to make an appointment!

OK, so I went to Amazing Nail Spa today for a manicure and pedicure package. At first, the service…read morewas amazing. The lady who did my feet was absolutely perfect, and my experience with her was great. However, the woman who did my nails was honestly very unprofessional. She repeatedly kept asking me if I wanted gel polish instead, and after I said no, it felt like she became rough and careless with my nails. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.

The most basic pedicure was $30, and it felt completely rushed. My cuticles were barely trimmed, and the overall quality just wasn't there. No one was friendly or engaging, and the only time they spoke to me was to try to upsell a $6 callus removal. A few quick swipes later, my heels are still rough, so definitely not worth it. To make matters worse, my nail tech was on her phone during my calf massage and even took a phone call. That felt incredibly unprofessional and made an already disappointing experience even worse. It honestly feels like if you're not spending a lot of money, you're not going to get good service here. I don't expect luxury treatment, but I do expect basic care and professionalism. The overall vibe of the salon just felt off and uncomfortable, which made the experience even worse. At this point, this is the 8th nail salon I've tried in my area, and I'm still searching for one that delivers consistent, quality service. If anyone has recommendations, I'm all ears.

Update: I have been…read morecoming here for a while for an acrylic overlay and gel pedicure, and initially, the service was great with no issues. Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service has significantly declined. On multiple occasions, my acrylic overlay was not fully cured, and once, the overlay started peeling off my nail. The same issue occurred with my toes, where the gel polish wasn't fully cured. Although they tried to fix it, the problems persisted. Most recently, my acrylic overlay began lifting again, and instead of properly fixing it, the technician filed down my natural nail and applied gel on top, claiming it would help. Unfortunately, this only resulted in my nail breaking -- and it was a nail I had been growing out for a long time. My nails take a long time to grow, so I was very upset by this. To make matters worse, they also over-filed my nails to the point where I now experience pain and am unable to get them done. After several calls to inform them of my issues, they did attempt to make repairs, but the solutions didn't resolve the problems, and it became repetitive to keep asking for fixes. I also want to mention that after I raised concerns, the staff didn't seem happy about the feedback, which made me uncomfortable. This negatively impacted my overall experience. I spoke with the owner a couple of times, and while she encouraged me to return and give them another chance, I've reached the point where I feel it's no longer worth it. This last visit was the final straw. I even told the technician that if they needed to take a different approach to ensure my nails would last, they should have communicated that with me. After all, they are the professionals. Until they address their staff issues and improve their service consistency, I will not be returning.

I was a walk in, I did not make an appointment but there was no one there. The ambience was elegant, they have televisions but they where not turned up seems to be more for if you just want to look at moving images. Which was fine for me. I signed in after requesting a full set and pedicure. All of the chairs where comfortable, pleasant smells... no overpowering smell of acrylic or chemicals. Just a very light fragrances. Which after a stressful day at work was appreciated. I didn't get a major pedicure like I would normally do because I wanted to see how well they did with a traditional pedicure. They did fantastic. While I was receiving my pedicure I did get my full set put on at the same time which was convenient and receive a massage. All while having a nice firm pillow placed in my lap for more comfort... yes they provide you with comfort pillows... honey.... I'm into different colors and designs and they where accommodating. I did not go too far because I had to get a feel my nail tech. Ellie was great. She is personable, sweet, does really nice designs and is willing to free form if you ask her. Oh and if you need your eyebrows done please ask for her. She takes her time, and will have you looking like a new person... I will be going back for the specialty pedicure and more outrageous nail art and keep you posted on how the nails last... if they chip or break etc... but right now I have nothing but great things to say.

Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.

Great pedicure, wonderful massage, and very reasonable price!…read more I came into Zen Nails & Spa as a walk-in with no appointment and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait at all. I was paired with Mimi, and she did an excellent job. I had gel polish that needed to be removed before my pedicure, and one thing I especially appreciated was that Mimi did not grind it off with a Dremel/electric nail sander. She removed it gently, which is a big plus for me. My feet were also in terrible shape pain-wise. I spend a lot of time outside at our farm and had been walking over rocks, so they were extremely sore. I explained to Mimi in Vietnamese that my feet really hurt and needed some extra attention, and she understood exactly what I meant. She gave me one of the best foot and lower-leg massages I've had during a pedicure. For me, that part alone was priceless. I had also just gone through a very scary experience driving on I-20 earlier that morning, so sitting down with a glass of wine and having someone work the knots and soreness out of my feet was exactly what I needed! They have a really good selection of colors, displayed in color books rather than making you hunt through bottles. The salon itself isn't one of those huge, ultra-luxury nail spas -- it's fairly simple -- but everything I saw was clean and comfortable, and I'd much rather have excellent service than pay extra for fancy décor. I chose the pedicure that was one level above the basic pedicure, added gel polish, and the total was $55 before tip -- including the gel polish. I thought that was very reasonable, especially considering how much time Mimi spent on the massage and my feet. Excellent value, excellent service, and I would definitely return and request Mimi. One thing to know before heading over: Zen Nails & Spa is closed on Tuesdays.
