Paid $230+ & kept me from 11am-5pm I called on Saturday February 26,2022 to see if they had time to do my hair . They said yes . When I arrived at 11am the girl started working on my hair at 11:13-am I am not exaggerating when I say I was there for more than 4hrs. The lady did not finished doing my hair until 5pm. I could tell she was knew because she had the other lady's check her hair. They never mentioned she had no experience before she touched my hair. I would not recommend and nor will I ever be back. There's a before pic , inspiration pic that I showed her to do my hair and & I've provided a pic of how she left my hair. I repeat never go there. They claim to know how to do hair. I mean she said she could do my hair. And, she didn't give me a what I wanted. They charged $230 & kept me there from 11am-5pm. If I could give them negative stars I would. read more

My hair was done inexpensive hair stylist , I noticed she kept coming back and forth asking questions, to other hairdressers. My highlights turn out to be orange plus she damaged my hair. Had to cut my hair to get rid off the damaged. My advice make sure you ask if the hair stylist has experience. read more

If I could rate monica's attitude, it would be zero stars. I can't say anything about her work because she never did our hair. Due to the fact that at the last minute she cancelled on us and blamed me for choosing to cut my daughters hair and no color. Her reason was loosing money and was hungry for it and quickly added she had someone lined up. She hung up on me and when I tried calling her back she never answered. Went in a week ago to retouch my blonde highlights with consuelo and my hair roots and highlights are Orange and the ones that are blonde look like chunks and no matter how I style my hair it's looks bad. She said it would clear up within 2 washes but it's getting worse. She added ash brown to try and cover the Orange but that didn't work. As She was drying my hair I didn't see my blonde highlights anymore She then said because I had red in my hair but I've never dyed it red...she didn't process it right and now tries to say I had red in it and even the owner Monica jumped in to say because of the red too. First time customer and let me say I will be back! I found this salon through Yelp and was a little nervous heading to a salon with no first hand knowledge. I was a walkin customer and was accepted for a full color with no hesitation. This is unusual for a salon to do; I'm used to being turned away for not having an appointment. Wish I could give a even lower review. Bought a Groupon in December and telephoned to schedule an appointment. Got no response, Continued calling and leaving messages with no response. FINALLY got a human who told me the only way to schedule was by text. Texted. No response. Texted again and was told that they someay might schedule. I asked whe. They said "we work with people to schedule appoitments". I explained I had been working to schedle without success and my Groupon was abvout to expire and asked since they work with people to schedule if they would work with me to schedule. She got mad and snotty and told me I was rude, I told her in the months I had been tryig to "work with them to schedule" not a single availability had bee offered. Do not go here! Monica and her staff are rude and unprofessional. They over bleached my hair then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. Then said it was not damaged just dry. I went there thinking they would not damage my hair considering how much they charged but I was wrong. I had an appointment scheduled today at 10:15 AM with JUANITA. I scheduled over a week ago, and have text to prove it. When I got there (15 minutes early), another client was also there also (but I was there FIRST). When Juanita came in (came in 10 minutes late, as usual), she saw saw she had TWO customers there because she DOUBLE BOOKED... I waited, because I was sure she would take me, as I scheduled OVER A WEEK AGO!!! When she realized she double booked, the owner MONICA asked her in Spanish who booted FIRST. Little did she know, that this little Guerita knows SPANISH!!!! Well, Juanita responded "She did"... as she pointed and looked right at ME. So, she walked over to her other customer, and the customer told her that she was going to Mexico in a few days so she needed her hair done. Juanita came back over to me and told me she wasn't going to do my hair, even though I booked FIRST and that it was her mistake. I have an event this weekend also (Bridesmaid), so how is the other customer more important than me??? Absolutely unbelievable. I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism in all my life. Then she has the oddasity to text me and insinuate it was my fault for rescheduling with her 2 weeks prior because my DAUGHTER WAS SICK (should I have broughther in sick the week before and expose everyone?). Unbelievable and unprofessional! DO NOT COME HERE!!! And when I called the owner, she acknowledged it was Juanita's mistake... but somehow, Juanita still took the other client, even though the owner acknowledged Juanita booked me FIRST. MONICA is very nice, and I understand that Juanita only works for her, but still, the customer pays the price when something like this happens. IF the other girl scheduled FIRST, I would understand... but the FACT is, I scheduled FIRST... Even the owner acknowledged that. My feelings are very hurt. And Juanita's texts did not help any, saying she text me she was glad I wasn't her customer anymore AFTER I text her saying my feelings were hurt (by the way, i tip her $30- $40 EVERY time). Oh ya, and she said I have canceled before which is a complete lie.. I have ALL the texts to prove it. I have canceled one time, and one time ONLY (Please have her prove otherwise, because she CAN'T) because my daughter was sick. Monica is very unprofessional and unorganized. This was my first time going and she rescheduled me twice and tried cancelling the third time. I was already 5 minutes away so I showed up. She told me it was cancelled but she'll still cut my hair. I waited 40 minutes till she got to me. She didn't even look at the pictures I showed her and did my hair completely differently than what I asked. 25$ for a 10 minute cut. Won't be going back. If you're overbooked don't schedule more clients. read more

They are all very helpful and set a great environment for their clients. I've been going to Janet for close to 3 years and she is beyond amazing. She's transforms my blonde hair to lighter shades and darker Browns in such a heathy way. She's my to go girl. Alma redid my hair color about 2 weeks ago. I am now satisfied with the color. I was happy that she reached out to me through Yelp and told me to go in and that she would re do my hair. I went in for highlights with monica, i beleive she is the owner and i showed her a picture of what i wanted. She seemed to know what she was doing but when she was done it wasnt at all what i wanted. I wanted to have caramel highlight s and she gave we light brown highlights. I told her i wanted lighter highlights like the one in the picture and she said she can take me in next week so she can fix it so i did. I went to this salon for the very first time today. Similar to many of the raters here I have been searching for a hair stylist who knows what they are doing. Unfortunately, this was not her. Mari/Maria cut both my mother's and my hair. First off, she ended up cutting off way too much. I asked her and showed her a picture as i only went in for a trim. She began and as she grabbed the first piece of hair she asked me if i was ok with that length for my "shortest" layer, to which i said it was fine. She ended up cutting almost all of my hair to that length. She also used a technique to do a layered haircut that i had never seen, and i don't mean that in a good way. But worst of all, when it came time to pay, she gave me less that the amount that i was owed back. By the time i noticed however, i was already home. I take some fault because i should have been more careful, but i trusted that she would hand me the right amount, but she did not. Needless to say, we will not be returning here again. If the owner, Monica, reads this, a hair salon should be filled with professional and competent hairstylists. As a consumer, we shouldn't have to say to only ask for such and such hairstylist or that only a specific one knows what they are doing. A person should be able to schedule an appointment and feel safe that whoever is going to work on them will do a good job. Just a word of advice. I am disappointed that once again i did not find a good hair salon. The search continues.... read more
