I'm not familiar with many Chinese buffets around Buffalo, but Mongolian Buffet is definitely better than any places I have tried in the past. It's a fun restaurant to dine in. Saturday late afternoon was busy, but everything looked clean and tidy. I could see all kinds of customers enjoying themselves. Only one lady openly complained. It was too long, she thought, with no crab legs, but eventually she got what she wanted. It's average priced, so expectations should be adequate. I was actually surprised how tasty and fresh the raw clams and seafood in general were. The tray with freshly prepared cuttlefish looked impressive. On the other hand, the selection of sushi rolls was pretty lame and didn't taste anything good. Even the seaweed salad wasn't the best for reasons not exactly clear to me. There was just something odd about it. This buffet allows you to try a little bit of everything which looks appetizing and desirable. I'm sure there is something for everyone. Besides classic Asian dishes, I saw delicious looking roasted pork, freshly served and still steamy hot. I saw pizza, french fries, along with mashed potato and gravy as well. Hibachi is available, too. Just choose all ingredients and the chef will cook it in front of you. I never have desserts besides sesame balls which weren't available this time, unfortunately. The service was really nice. No single complaint.

Honestly not sure why the ratings are so low but this place is awesome! I would definitely come back here to eat and my rating is 5/5 all around for food and service. The place is clean. They give everyone gloves for the buffet so you have to use the glove for every touch point (plates, serving spoons) at the buffet stations. All staff are wearing masks. They have staff coming by every table to pick up even just 1 plate! They also have staff checking the cleanliness around the buffet trays and wipe up even the smallest spill. Also I watched 2 different families with little kids eat and as soon as they left, the staff was right behind them at the table cleaning up the mess. They don't want anything looking messy at all! Totally appreciate that. As far as the food, everything was excellent and definitely what you would expect at a Chinese buffet. The food was hot and it did not seem that anything was sitting around at all. Also this place serves sushi and hibachi all day! Very good options! Overall I recommend this place if you're looking for good Chinese options and you want a variety of foods. 5/5!!!

My review is based off of their takeout food, not based off the buffet. Their takeout menu is extensive but the food quality is what you would expect from a buffet place. No, I do not think they just picked what I ordered off of the buffet table, but yes it was low quality, cheap ingredients. I order the same thing from every Chinese restaurant - Shrimp Mei fun, crab ragoons and an egg roll. Prices were pretty average. The shrimp Mei fun was a MASSIVE portion of Mei fun where they added unseasoned shrimp ontop of when they were packaging it. It was very obvious the shrimp and the noodles were not cooked together. The flavor of the noodles was a tad bland also, but throw a cup of soy sauce on it and it's fine! They sure loaded me up with shrimp! The crab ragoons were pathetic. Like liquid cream cheese inside. No crab (not even imitation crab) or onions or seasoning. And so so so very greasy. It tastes exactly like a microwaved plain bagel with cream cheese on it. You know how it get chewy? Yea, just like that. The pork eggroll had food flavoring. It was a little overcooked, but overall it was alright. I don't know, maybe the buffet would be more impressive? But the takeout left something to be desired. I would stick with takeout from a regular Chinese restaurant for better quality food options.

Food never disappoints. Our waitress was so sweet. Ambiance of the steaming food was exquisite.

They have roaches and when told they said they sprayed the day before. That is no excuse. This is disgusting

They have roaches. When shown the roach on the plate their response was that they sprayed the day before. That is not a good reason. Are there rat feces in the back too?

Below average even for a buffet. Everything I got was either cold or Luke warm. Only item hot was the hibachi grill which was just ok.

Sat at the bar for drinks, the hostess had our table set up and told us we could be seated whenever we were ready. The atmosphere was much more laid back at lunchtime. Our waitress was great, told us the specials and gave us time to look at the menu. We all had drinks from the bar so she just filled our water glasses and brought bread with butter and dipping oil. A couple of us had the eggplant parm with linguine, it was the perfect size for lunch. Others had spaghetti & meatballs & cavatelli bolognese. Half of those were wrapped to go. The Christmas decorations were still up, always a plus! Will definitely be back at lunchtime.

I actually told my wife maybe we shouldn't even write reviews so we could keep it a secret, but it's just too good not to praise. We were greeted warmly and taken right to our reserved table. We really enjoyed that all the holiday decor was still up. As soon as we got to our table our waitress came by with waters and some friendly banter. She was attentive through the whole meal, with lots of recommendations. Even though we'd seen the menu online and were impressed, the specials of the day really caught our interest. My wife ordered the stuffed shells and I got the short rib gnocchi. The shells were good, but the gnocchi was otherworldly. It was one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. We also had the arancini appetizer and the creme brûlée dessert both of which were solid. On one last note, the portions were quite large, so while it was a bit expensive for a lunch we also got dinner off the leftovers, and that made it feel like a much better deal. I can say with great certainty that we will be back here in the future, and it may even become of our go to places for special occasions.

Our reservations were at 6:00pm and we arrived 5 min early and were seated right away. Much to our surprise we were escorted, all the way to what we would call the patio with rattan high top chairs and marble tables, with no more than 5 tables and window bar seating. The restaurant has linen table cloth tables with nice padded chairs which we did not have the pleasure to dine on. We have to say the waiter/bartender was very attentive during our meal. At the end of our meal I stopped at the hostess station and spoke to a manager about our concerns. She advised me I should have said I wanted the dining room, but I explained I had no idea there was an area other than the dining room for dinner to ask for, as I did this over the phone and not online. Normally a restaurant will ask if you are ok with the patio area but that was never asked. When you secure reservations over 2 months prior to an event you would think you would get the main dining room with the linen table cloths and padded chairs. I am not sure what my early reservation got me when again I got rattan chairs at a high top marble table. The manager advised next time I should specify where I want to sit, but I can safely say there will be no next time. This was supposed to be a nice romantic dinner for us, but clearly sitting in the bar/patio area we could have done anywhere. Olive Garden is a restaurant that exists. It is part of a national franchise, and when you enter,…read moreyou are given breadsticks. The breadsticks arrive warm, lightly salted, buttered and plentiful. They are brought to the table almost immediately, which establishes the tone of the experience. The dining room is predictable, with faux-Tuscan décor, soft lighting, and the quiet crunch of people tearing breadsticks in half while waiting for their meals. The menu offers a variety of Italian-inspired dishes, many of which pair well with breadsticks. The chicken alfredo is creamy and heavy, served over pasta that is cooked until soft but not memorable. Between bites of alfredo, it is common to reach for a breadstick, which serves as both a palate cleanser and a constant companion. The breadsticks do not overwhelm the dish, but they are always present, resting on the table as a reliable option. Salads are also served, typically in large bowls meant for sharing. The salad contains lettuce, olives, pepperoncini, and dressing that tastes familiar. The salad is often eaten alongside breadsticks, which can be dipped into the dressing or eaten separately. This reinforces the idea that breadsticks are not just an appetizer, but part of the overall structure of the meal. They arrive again if you ask, and sometimes even if you do not. Other pasta dishes, such as spaghetti with meat sauce or baked ziti, follow a similar pattern. The sauces are consistent, the portions are generous, and the flavors are safe. The breadsticks remain on the table throughout, sometimes becoming slightly less warm, but still edible. They fill space between bites and conversations, providing something to chew on while nothing surprising happens. In conclusion, Olive Garden serves standard franchise Italian food. The pasta tastes like pasta, the sauces taste like sauce, and the atmosphere feels like a restaurant designed for many locations. The breadsticks are unlimited, salty, and soft. This is what Olive Garden is known for. It is a place where you eat Italian-style dishes, receive breadsticks, and leave knowing you have eaten at Olive Garden.

However, the food itself was not great. The bread sticks were extremely salty. The salad and gnocchi soup tasted fine. I had the create your own rigatoni with mushroom sauce. This is what I get every time and it was completely inedible this time. First off the noodles were cold, not warm, cold like it came out of a fridge. The sauce itself was so incredibly salty I couldn't eat it. We told the waiter who was very apologetic and went to remake it. I'm pretty sure they just heated it up because it tasted exactly the same when it came back, but was extremely hot. Another person got the chicken marsala, the potatoes were good. However, the chicken was burnt and dry so they couldn't eat it. They told the waiter and they took it off the bill. I know it seems like we are extremely picky, but the food was really just not good this visit. We come here every couple of months and it has never been like this before. We will not be returning to this location and we're incredibly disappointing.
