Powerheads - Cylinder bores were supposed to be 4.030". I ordered 4.030", build sheet shows 4.030", but they bored 4.040".

When I received the motor, the crankshaft endplay was .020", way out of spec for a new build. Powerheads installed an incorrectly ground crankshaft into the motor, then installed the main caps incorrectly to try and cover up the excessive endplay. I purchased a new crankshaft out of my own pocket. I asked Powerheads to balance the new crankshaft free of charge, since I was having to disassemble and reassemble the motor they built for me. It has 0 miles on it. Ralph from Powerheads wouldn't help. During the tear down I discovered the block was bored larger than we had discussed when I ordered. The build sheet and my receipt correctly shows 4.030" but the block/pistons were 4.040". I have my original block that can be bored 4.030". Powerheads said they will procure a block and can bore it 4.030". They falsified my build sheet and receipts to show 4.030" and sent me a block with pistons that were 4.040" (which I specifically stated I did not want). A bolt was broken off in the motor mount hole and not caught before delivery. I had to get a local machine shop to fix it and Powerheads never reimbursed me like they said they would. I don't recommend Powerheads. They're dishonest, takes shortcuts and don't support paying customers.
