Stopped here on a roadtrip up north. They were open late which was great. The food was good we ordered shrimp tacos that were good, the steak tacos, a steak dinner which was seasoned well, though a bit fatty which I know some people love. We took it to go but the service at ordering was friendly and helpful. Despite it being late people kept coming in, so it seems to be a popular place. Saw a recommendation for this on our community page. It is located in what use to be Fatz Cafe beside the closed down Dickies bbq in Florence. The parking lot appeared packed but after 10 minutes wait and being seated there were visibly many empty booths. Perhaps that is a marketing tool to make it appear in high demand. Anyways, the menu has many choices of typical chain Mexican restaurants. Most of the items were priced around $12 w few at $32 range. I got pork tacos w black beans, the pork was seasoned yummy so I liked mine. We don't normally get virgin drinks but did this night and didn't realize the are same price for normal $12.99 for Virgin margarita was what we will never order again. We were looking for good food at a reasonably price and minus the drink would been $35 so it is a decent choice close to interstate access. read more

First of all, the food is NOT authentic Mexican. I been to Mexico and I know authentic Mexican food. I usually get burritos and they come from the kitchen tasteless and extremely small. The portions are over rated. I think the food is very low quality and one can make the exact same thing in their own. They blast the restaurant with loud music to where it drives you out the door after you eat. Its like come in, order, eat and get out so I can refill the booth. I been to both of them in Florence and Cheraw. With the music so loud, one can't have conversation amongst them. Carry out, I got a carry out to take to my wife and when I got it home, it layed in a puddle of grease, not fit to eat. We ended up throwing it in the garbage. I hope all who reads this makes an educated decision to avoid these restaurants. I have nothing personal against the people who work there nor do I with the owners. All I ask for good atmosphere, quality food and good service. I say it as I see it and I will not go and apologize for these comments. I hate wasting food and money. read more

Great Service, I love the selection provided on the menu. I eat here at least once a week. It's my go to place when I want great food good drinks and a nice atmosphere. I've yet to sit at the bar for drinks or tried them for a music event. I'm sure that will just as good. read more

We walked in and there was no one in the front of the house. We sat ourselves at the bar. No bartender in sight. Finally showed up and took our drink order. Waiter later showed up with chips and salsa and took our food order. Finished my drink and the bartender disappeared again. Another couple came in and sat themselves at the bar and then left after five minutes. My food came out and my husbands didn't. I was 3/4 done by the time his appeared. Had to swipe silverware off a nearby table. Ordered a second drink and my husband finished his food before the bartender showed back up to make my drink. Food was good but this place needs to get its sh!t together when it comes to service. Also not a fan of the blaring Spanish music or all the servers speaking Spanish. To each other. This was our 3rd time and now our last time . They were rude as hell hostess acted like we inconvenienced her because she had to do her job she waited seated and eating hoping we would leave . Then our server was pissed she got seated because she was eating too .She took our order with an attitude brought my husbands food out then 5 minutes later brought mine out all screwed up and only 1 i ordered 2 . Then proceeded to get pissed off at me and told me I would be waiting a while . The food is good but I refuse to be treated like a piece of shit because you didn't want to do your job and were too lazy to write down our order and screw it up then get mad at me and tell me I'm gonna be waiting a long time . read more

Our waitress was Angelina and we ordered the 3 (corn)Tacos meal with Mexican Rice/Black Beans. The ambience was great complete with music. I'd get rid of those "guy" paintings as they suck. Waitress did not speak good English which let us know we were at an authentic restaurant. Food Was Great and we will be back because of the food and service. The Robot was an interesting surprise. Traveling through from Florida and found this gem . Margaritas were perfect in visual as well as taste . I had poblano peppers stuffed with beef . They were really good and there were two huge peppers . My wife had the tacos with the shredded beef and chicken . Again, very good . While the atmosphere and staff were great the food was subpar. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was lacking any crunch and was loaded with far too much cheese. The fajitas were served with rice and beans. The portion of beans was considerably smaller than other restaurants in the area serve. The fajitas were extremely greasy. I have never seen fajitas sitting in a pool of grease/oil like these were. My stomach has been a mess all night and I am positive the greasy fajitas are the culprit. Aside from being very greasy they were also lacking much flavor. I took home more than half in a to go box which the dogs back at home enjoyed. . I won't be visiting here again. read more

This is the second time that we came the first time a good portion and the service was great, but this is the second time we come and they produce by half price not the same same price and the manager said he was gonna give a discount because they did not serve the food according to what the menu said, and there was no discount either I think this will be the last time coming here not worth the drive.
