However I was so impressed with the online experience I had to write a review anyways. So first I was very excited that the dress I was interested in was available in plus sizes - i used the sizing chart and because I was inbetween I sized up deciding if I needed to I would get it altered. if I didn't like it I could send it back because they have a solid return policy. I ordered the dress on a Thursday morning, paid for standard shipping and assumed it would arrive sometime next week since I live in Alberta. Imagine my shock when it arrived the NEXT DAY. Opened it up and everything was beautifully wrapped in ribbon with a beautiful note to boot. The dress is gorgeous - it will definitely need some hemming but I could not be more thrilled. I 100% will be buying from here again.

I went Sunday Oct 6th with my bridesmaids to look at wedding dresses & bridesmaids dresses. The…read moredresses are beautiful and well priced. but the lack of customer service made the experience less enjoyable. I found a few staff members had attitude. I was ready to drop over 1000.00$ for my wedding dress & 5 brides maid dresses and they didn't seem to care. waiting almost 25 minutes to check out, and the cashier wanted to give me the sample dress without a garnet bag... the dress was worn multiple times and not so white anymore. I asked if I could get a new one as she rolled her eyes and walked away to get a brand new one. again the prices are good, just don't have high expectation for customer service.

My sister wanted something we could take back home today. Wedding dress and evening gown attire shop separated on 2 floors. The place is gorgeous! The choices and the quality of the stocks is a notch higher. I personally really loved the salesperson that worked with us. She was on the spot, just there enough but not imposing herself. She made my sister tried a veil even if she said didn't want it, but was so Randy-Fenolli-Right and was a great help. My only concern was the downstairs staff that looked blasé and arrogant. They spoiled the mood a little. But in the end. The floofy tulle and glitzy glitter bling of this place makes me forget about it.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone take their business to Claudette. I was a customer of…read moreClaudette's for years (buying off the rack) and thought she would make a beautiful wedding dress for me and a dress for my mother. Instead she produced a dress of extremely low quality with both low quality fabric and construction, that was no where near what we originally discussed. For my mom's dress, she said she would make the one my mom tried on in a different colour, but when my mom received it, it was so big it was falling off her and had weird gaping fabric because of how badly it was sewed (another seamstress said she couldn't even fix it). Claudette refused to acknowledge any of this and forced us to pay in full. Unfortunately Claudette does not have the best interest of her clients in mind - do not trust her.

I wandered in here, on the recommendation from my hairstylist. After walking by Rush thousands of…read moretimes and never actually walking in, I have to admit I was kinda weary. I was greeted by the designer and owner directly and immediately started finding some gorgeous gowns. An hour later, still trying on beautiful and unique dresses, I have to say my hairstylist was definitely right, but then again how could I ever have doubted him! Rush specializes in handmade bespoke dresses. There are many samples to try on in the front room, but the real magic happens when you speak with the designer to start customizing your gown. The price is also relatively affordable, ranging from $400-800, as far as I saw. Still a lot, but considering what wedding dresses go for these days, I was pleasantly surprised. Whether you're looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses or evening wear, Rush offers some beautiful, handmade and locally designed gowns.

This store is really quite something and definitely worth a visit. The decor is what really makes…read morethis place special- I don't think I've seen so much taxidermy in one place! There's the usual taxidermy of deer and other antlered species but here you can also find taxidermy of baby chickens- in individual little glass containers! As someone else mentioned, you do kind of get more drawn into the weird taxidermy than the vintage clothing, jewelry and home items for sale. They have an assortment of interesting vintage dresses, clothes and bags, most with a 40s, 50s and early 60s aesthetic. They had a very cool selection of vintage sunglasses.... But wait, what is that taxidermy thing over there.... I would not recommend this store to anyone who is the least bit freaked out by taxidermy, but totally worth a visit if that sort of thing doesn't bother you!

I purchased a number of skull bracelets that I wear in the Fall for Day of the Dead and Halloween. I've paid up to $10 each for similar bracelets and I was psyched to find them here for only $5. I also scored a great deal on a faux fur wrap. It was a bit out of season in June, but I enjoyed it later in the winter. Lots of stuff here to browse, clothing, costume jewelry, scarves, wraps and other accessories. They also have some small souvenir items at great prices. My bf scored some beautiful Canada themed coffee mugs.
